A thorough run-down of the history and voluminous output from Hawkwind. The only real downside to this book is that it only covers the band up to it's printing date (1993), as the band has not see fit to stop keep on keeping on with putting out albums. They've put an an album every 2-4 years since 1993, including this year [2021] -- some of which very entertaining indeed.

But for a detailed intro to the band and arguably it's most vital creative period, this is a cool book to track down.

This is a pretty comphrehensive listing of Hawkwind material, along with many of the side, solo, and other musical projects taken on by the ever-changing Hawkwind cast over the years. All of the album covers are reproduced, there are interviews of Michael Moorcock and Dave Brock, concerts posters and listings, etc.
