1st story ok, 2nd meh

Neither of these will be read a second time, and the 2nd story infuriated me. I wouldn't have that manipulator on a silver platter.

Since both stories were about 90 pages each, there wasn't much time for character development. They were okay, but it's not a book I'll be keeping.

Sometimes a book needs more to be perfect.... this was one of those times but for short story I felt it, but an EPILOGUE would have rounded it off nicely
