Fun and easy to read. Overall a nicely framed case for positive psychology and how to start implementing it in everyday life.

If you done or read any DBT or CBT before you will have covered the principles in this book. Suppose if you haven't done DBT/CBT then it is worth a read.
This book was not quite about what I thought it would be about. Rather than being "brilliant" at work or at home (thus being efficient, productive and getting promoted) it centred mostly around being happy.
Being happy, positive and controlling your emotional states is a very useful skill as it does make life better. There are lots of interesting stories, quotations and pictures throughout the book. I would recommend it to people who are having a hard time at work or in their relationships, or who need some cheering up, but I would not recommend it as a guide to succeeding in he workplace which is what I naively expected it to be by judging the book by its cover (oops..).
Really liked this book. The authors completely avoid psychological jargon but present their ideas in a fun, friendly way - and I think the ideas are conveyed in such a simple way there is almost a danger that the seriousness of the issues will be missed.
I usually read more 'orthodox' psychological self-help books. This is a lesson in how to 'sell' the message and communicate it with feet firmly on the ground and in a manner that any of us can engage with. I would be interested to hear of anyone who comes across it who does not change their thinking in some way. Now I think I will read it again!!
I went to an event earlier this month where Andy C was the days guest presenter. The event was really good, although I was teased for being under 25! I was given this book for free because id attended the event and thought what's the harm in reading it. Andy was really inspiring when he spoke and I'm pleased to say the book was just as good. Well worth a read, its got some useful messages in it and a few laughs too!
Amazing book. Borrowed this from my boyfriend's mum - I'm definitely going to buy a copy for myself. Such a simple self-improvement book, common sense principles to follow and an easy way to vastly improve life :) I'm definitely going to take on its message.
This book really does what it says on the cover. It inspires you to go out there and enjoy life. You only get one shot and the worst that can happen is you make a fool of yourself or you get it wrong and have to try again, read this and go out and enjoy you life.
I'm not a huge fan of self-help style books, but this one certainly seemed to make sense. It's simply looking at things in a different way--a more positive way. It was enjoyable, but not life-changing.
I bought this book after attending a talk by one of the authors. I loved the way it explains its principles in easy to understand English. I hope to follow its ideas to lead a 'positive' lifestyle.
