This book is very well organized! The chapters are laid out like classic outlines (I., A., 1., a.) but written in narrative form. Each sub-topic concludes with a summary of key points with examples, and comprehension exercises.
Sometimes it felt like the author didn't have much to say about a subject, so he used some lame filler in about 5-10% of the book. Ocassionaly, his native dialect of English caused him to mark some sentences as non-prescriptive when they are certainly common American English.
