Entertaining? It is really light and breezy. A very quick read. The recipe thing before each chapter was funny at first, but eventually got old and I'd just skip past it to get to the next chapter.

What's a girl gotta do when she wants to reinvent herself? Apparently she has to go to Boston and hook up with a hot guy. This book has a few laughs and a cute romance. I liked the recipes that introduced the chapters.

My biggest problem with this book is Meredith wants change so she dumps her fiancee, job, crown and small town and heads to Boston to help out a cousin. Then she decides the best way to change is to have no-strings-attached sex before she has to head home. I realize she is young, but this is still ridiculous.

The hero, Travis, is a bit more interesting as he's been coasting through job, women and booze and decides to take a break and maybe grow up. His job situation is crazy, but fun to read about and he ends up solving a problem in a really creative way.

DNF. The heroine was pretty silly, and I felt the hero was jerking her around, promising her one thing with no intention of delivering to “save her from herself” (ugh). Just say no then, dude, and drop the hero complex.

Miss Holstein 2006 wanted get away from the country and jumped at the chance to assist her pregnant cousin in the city. She wanted change and decided to take advantage of her chance. She also wanted experience and the man she chose to help her had just sworn off women. This story has some interesting predictability involving her country boyfriend, her family, a cow, and seafood. Since the story covers a short period of time it's somewhat fast-paced. As in other books in this series there is a recipe, this time seafood, at the beginning of each chapter.

Fabulous recipes for Seafood and A Steamy Romance, Too

I enjoyed this book so much that I completed it in one day! Meredith and Travis are so sweet, and they are surrounded by an array of quirky characters who made me smile. How could I not enjoy a where the heroine wears a cow costume in the middle of Government Square in Boston?

Normally I enjoy a good romance novel here and there but this one was hardcore lame. Although I gave it to my Mom to read after and she seemed to enjoy that there were recipes between each chapter.

The story in this one was cute. The recipes didn't do much for me since I don't like seafood.

If you like seafood recipes, you might enjoy this book just for the recipes,

The romances in general are predictable. The sex scenes are too detailed for my taste.

Meredith wants to do something different become someone different from the perfect girl from her town. When Travis meets her sparks fly but he can't seem to take the plunge that she says she wants. The book contains seafood recipes. It was a very quick easy read.
