The writing quality is pretty sub-par (so many adjectives) and the motivations of the rebels could have been fleshed out more with a deeper look at the Irish English war. However, still a pretty good summary of one of the less talked and most ridiculous events of early Australian colonial history
(He had to read this one for an assignment but wanted it to be included) A great read for anyone wanting to learn more about this often neglected piece of Australian history. It tells the tale in a very easy to read and enjoyable way, focusing on the Irish aspects of it all.
