Best part is the simple make ahead HEALTHY meals as well as a weeks worth of menus. This is an easy reference guide laid out in plain language.
This was a re-read for me. I like the simplicity of the recipes included and the fact that she doesn't require a ton of obscure, never-to-be-used-again ingredients. I'm a picky eater and I like that I would eat most of the recipes and that they are quick, easy and healthful. I have to update this and ding the book a bit on the "recipes." I've tried two so far and both are beyond flavorless. (spinach and cheese pasta and turkey chili.)And this is coming from someone who eats (and enjoys bland food-think cheese pizza, plain deli sandwiches-turkey, cheese and bread, etc.) Additionally, some of what she lists as meals are ridiculous (Pour a glass of milk. Drink. Pour a glass of Orange juice. Drink.--I'm not kidding.) Another one is Pour a bowl of cereal, add milk, eat. I mean, come on.
