The stars are not what they seem. So look away; they’ll whisper you your fate.
Iyana’s only ambition in life is to become a healer like her grandmother, but that all changes when her village is attacked by a neighboring kingdom. She desperately calls upon the heavens for salvation and the stars respond, yet not as she had ever imagined. She is sent Altair, a hypnotically handsome star in human form. Iyana is more shocked to discover that she is an Aztia, a magic bearer born once in every generation, and that a captured enemy soldier named Emmeric is unwittingly caught up in her destiny.
Although he is fated to work with Iyana, Emmeric is reluctant to assist a woman from the village he was recently trying to destroy, no matter how spellbinding her beauty is. He trusts his rival Altair even less, as the star and Iyana are caught in each other’s orbit.
When the emperor’s own son, Zane, joins their quest to stop his father’s tyrannical invasion, the companions begin unveiling long-buried secrets that echo through time. Secrets that could change the course of human history and reveal the hidden origin of the Aztia themselves.
A captured foe. A fallen star. A forsaken prince. Betrayal is inevitable. But who will perpetrate it?
I’m in my love triangle era, so y'all already know I ate this book up!! 🤭
The found family trope in this book was everythinggg, I loved every single one of these characters and they each brought so much to the story. I think Kaz might be my fav side character - she's feral and hilarious. I went into this thinking we were just getting 2 or 3 POVs, but you get to hear from most of the characters, which was nice!
The banter between all of the characters = 👩🍳💋 I have so many hilarious things highlighted lol
I think my favorite thing about this book though was the uniqueness, from the magic system to the stars being actual people. Speaking of stars, let's talk about star daddy Altair 😮💨 - "𝙄 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙩, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚," "𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙄'𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙩." 🫠 i need him.
This book was an absolute thrill to read. I was sucked in from the first page. I was worried it might be a little much page wise, it teeters on the edge of how much I like in a book, I'm a fussy page count girl 😂 but every single page was full of beautiful storytelling and magic. I absolutely loved this book and I look forward to reading more in the future. It gave me Disney wish vibes.. if the star was a studly human with penetrating eyes of gold. A magic touch and stardaddy vibes. I'm not sure that's a thing, but it should be. Move over Shadowdaddies, I need my bright shiny stars now. A beautiful fantasy adventure made for us adults. Thoroughly recommend. ;).
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ /5!! Secrets and Stardust was an absolute GEM to devour! This first book in the series was the perfect romantasy read everyone is needing right now. Jeannin did a magnificent job of capturing breathtaking magical worlds, unforgettable friendships, and a love story that is as heartwarming as it is full of tension and suspense! She laid the foundation for the series with the kingdoms within it, as well as the many bonds between all of the characters while never taking away the book's ability to be an absolute page turner. From the very first page, I was hooked by the rich, imaginative setting, and the complex, relatable characters who are all on their own unique journeys of self-discovery. The great mix of loyalty, magic, and romance kept me turning the pages late into the night until I finished it! I loved watching the protagonist navigate her way through a world where not everything is as it seems, while also forging unbreakable bonds of friendship and learning to trust herself. It's a beautiful story about confidence, finding your true path, and embracing the power within you. Not only do I give this book 5/5 stars, but I am now eagerly awaiting the second book, Deceit and Darkness!! Counting down the days to see where the next story takes us; because if it is anything like the first book (which I know it will be), I know I am all in for even more magic, danger, and the most unexpected plot twists!!!
Wow! This was the easiest 5 star rating I've given all year and currently my top read of the year! First, thank you to Jeannie Counts for allowing me to receive and read an ARC of her book.
This book is heavy on Romantasy! The plot, the pacing, the characters - it was all so amazing. Iyana is such a badass from start to finish. This book is set with 3 different POV following Iyana, Emmeric, and Prince Zane. I love how the transitions between the POV's felt natural and not forced. The banter between the character's was amazing and had me chuckling the entire book.
The magic system and the lore in the book is super interesting. I loved the idea that the stars are not what they entirely seem (iykyk).
This book has lovers to enemies, love triangles, lgbtq+ representation, "you're mine". It has it all.
Multiple POVs, LGBTQ+ representation, love triangle, betrayal, quirky side characters, reluctant heroes, slow burn, SPICE
Secrets and Stardust, by Jeannin Counts, is an adult fantasy that follows three main characters on their journey to save humanity. Iyana is a healer from a small village and was trained her entire life by her grandmother. Under orders from the emperor, her village was attacked. Prince Zane, the emperor's son, led the attack. While watching the people in her village suffer, Iyana pleaded to the heavens for help. Her pleas were answered when a star named Altair was cast down to the Earth to help her. The impact of the star forced the enemies to retreat from the village. One soldier, Emmeric, was captured and left behind. It is then discovered that Iyana and Emmeric are bound to each other by both fate and magic. She is a magic wielder, the powerful Aztia, with powers kept hidden from her by her grandmother. Emmeric is her kanaliza, a human conduit meant to help amplify her magic. Although in the beginning Emmeric is reluctant to accept his fate, he later joins Iyana and Altair on their journey to strengthen her magic and stop the emperor. Prince Zane eventually turns on his father and helps Iyana on her quest to stop him.
I loved the multiple POVs in this book and LGBTQ+ representation. I found the concept of stars falling and taking human form super interesting. Iyana is caring, stubborn, and headstrong. She doesn't back down from a fight. Emmeric will do anything for someone he loves, even if it hurts. I loved his friendship and relationship with Talon, a side character who plays an important role. Talon was my favorite character. He is honest, flirtatious, and extremely loyal. He provided so much comedic relief and evoked the most emotions from me. Zane was another of my favorite characters. Although he was the emperor's son, he is very secretive with good reason. It takes a lot to break down his walls, and he arguably has the most character growth in the book. The side characters were my favorite and added so much personality to the book. It had a bit of a slow burn with tension until about halfway through. Once the book got spicy, it did not stop. It had a good amount of spice between characters that I thought contributed well to the story. I rated this book 3 stars because there were times I did skim through it. I wasn't completely hooked, and I didn’t like a couple of the main characters. I also didn’t like Iyana's quirks, such as the walking barefoot or constantly sticking her tongue out at people. She acted too childish for her age, which didn’t sit well with me. There were a lot of my favorite tropes and micro-tropes in this book, but I don't think all of them were necessary. Perhaps there were too many piled in, such as the randomly tossing in "good girl." Overall, I did like this book and there is definitely potential for this series. Possible trigger warning: There are mentions and actions of parental abuse.
This is an HONEST review. All opinions in this review are my own. Thank you, Jeannin Counts, for providing me with the opportunity to read this book prior to its release date! Good luck on your future writing journey. I will keep a look out for your future work!

I tried on this book. I truly TRIED. But I could not connect with a single character. I just didn’t care about any of them, or what was going to happen next. They all lacked depth. Their relationships were so flat and unconvincing. The star boy was so cringy. 🫣 I’m not sure if it was his attitude, but it could have just been the writing style that made it feel that way. The writing was dry. There was no details. It told the reader precisely what happened and nothing more. I felt like there was no feelings, the characters had no feelings, there was no “painting the picture.” It just said “this is it” and that’s all. If that makes sense.
There were good ideas here. For sure. I just couldn’t stick with it, for the reasons stated above.
This was a STRONG romantasy story, and it's only the first book! The story is so captivating right off the bat all the way through to the very end. I couldn't put it down. The found family, the LOVE TRIANGLE, the whole world! I'm obsessed with this series already, and I cannot wait for more.
SECRETS AND STARDUST was a read that was both surprising and enjoyable. While I was reading it, I was reminded of the same vibe I felt while reading City of Brass and We Hunt the Flame. The vibe only, though, because the world and story have a wholly original feel to it.
The story has multiple POVs. We follow Iyana, who is training with her grandmother to be a healer. She very traumatically discovers she has magic when her village is attacked and her scream calls forth a star who takes human form. In comes Altair, the man my sister and I have started calling Star Daddy, who begins training her. Then we have Emmeric, a soldier of the empire, to whom Iyana is magically bound, but he is also the enemy. And finally we have Zane, the emperor’s son who is trying to stop his father’s tyranny.
One of the things I enjoyed most about the book is the strong emphasis on the family and found family that we have with this unlikely group of heroes. As for the romance, the love triangle is one of the good ones and both of Iyana’s love interests have good potential and amazing tropes to go on. I still haven’t wholly chosen a side. (I mean, personally I wouldn’t choose at all.) And the final part of the book was mindblowing! I wasn’t expecting it at all, and it gutted me.
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you to the author for gifting me an e-copy for review. Opinions are my own.
I found this book via a Facebook group. The author was marketing the second book’s ARC using info from the 1st book. I realized this after filling out the arc form as saw there were DEADLINES to read the first book. Not only that, but then to provide PROOF that you read & reviewed it.
That felt weird but fine. Let me jump through these hoops. It has to be a secret gold mine right?
… this was so mid.
The writing feels off, the author goes about world building all wrong, we never get the thoughts that matter, and there’s no chemistry. This is just an insta-love/lust foot fetish book disguised as a fantasy romance with no real plot. The FMC “has to kill the emperor” for no better reason than “well he wants to start a war I guess”.
This book is incredible, I can’t believe it’s a debut! I read it for the first time a few months ago and am currently doing a reread for the release and am just as awed by it the second time around.
The world building & magic systems are rad and described in a way that my carnival brain was able to latch on to without getting bored and distracted, which can be an issue for me in the fantasy genre. I was engrossed in the story from beginning to end and am counting down the minutes to book 2 already.
The characters were so fun to read & grow with. Talon is a forever favorite 🙌🏻. The banter between all of the characters was so dang entertaining & the love is top notch. The sass, spice & story were all very well balanced to keep information and tone without things being heavy on heavy too, which is generally another issue I have within this genre.
Top to bottom it’s an amazing read that I will recommend to everyone!
**A Starry, Sassy Romp: *Secrets and Stardust* by Jeannine Counts**
Jeannine Counts’ *Secrets and Stardust* (Celestial Whispers Book 1) is a five-star romantasy riot that’s like *ACOTAR* got a celestial glow-up. Released in June 2024, this debut flings you into a magical world of star-dudes, spicy love triangles, and epic betrayals. It’s a wild ride, even if the main gal is a total whiner.
Iyana, our wannabe healer, gets her village torched and summons Altair, a hunky star-man, revealing she’s an Aztia with cosmic mojo. Teamed with brooding soldier Emmeric and cheeky prince Zane, she’s off to topple an evil emperor. The world’s a dazzling mix of herbal magic and starry vibes, with twists that’ll make your jaw drop. But Iyana? She whines more than a cat at bath time, moaning about her fate like it’s a Monday morning. Still, her growth’s legit, and the spicy, snarky love triangle steals the show.
Counts’ writing is punchy, the found-family crew is a hoot, and the LGBTQ+ vibes add heart. *Secrets and Stardust* is a hilarious, heartfelt gem that shines brighter than Iyana’s grumbles. Grab it, laugh, and swoon—five stars!
Ok I absolutely loved this! Also, STAR DADDY? Gosh I was not expecting that spice 🥵🔥 new book boyfriend alert!
The story is so unique, I loved the worldbuilding, the magic and the multi-POV! If you enjoyed An Ember in the Ashes with topics such as rebellion, empire oppression, soldiers who feel conflicted about which side they are on, you will also enjoy this. Ideal for fans of unlikely allies, forced proximity romance and found family.
We follow Iyana, a young woman from a small village learning to be a skilled healer like her grandma. Until one day her village is attacked, and she asks for helps from the stars… never having expected her call to be answered 😱 Down falls Altair.. a star in human form and from his very first interaction with Iyana I knew I was falling for him!🔥prepare yourselves for glances full of heat, lots of chemistry and fun & witty dialogues! One of my favorite elements of the story is the small humourous easter eggs that the author seamless implements (reminded me of that “I don’t even know a Savannah” moment from Olaf in Frozen) 😂
What you can expect: ⭐️ unlikely allies ⭐️ forced proximity ⭐️ cosmic star daddy ⭐️ love triangle ⭐️ GOOD GIRL ⭐️ you’re mine ⭐️ slow burn romance with spice!
Thanks to the author for gifting me a copy for review.
4.5 Stars Wow! I won this and a goodreads giveaway last week and didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did! Definitely did not see that ending coming!
Lots of Stardust vibes and inspiration in this one.
I haven’t read a story with a love triangle in a long time and this one was more of an insta-love triangle and it was done a bit 🫤. It just was too rushed and too cheesy.
I enjoyed the story more outside of the romance. Zane’s character development was the most entertaining and he earned my respect after gaining the courage to defy his tyrant father.
The found family trope kept the plot alive and Katz is an interesting one. I like her shifter personality and her outlook on everything.
“An Ember in the Ashes” meets “A Court of Thorns and Roses” in Jeannin Counts’ breakout romantasy “Secrets and Stardust.” Iyana has always dreamed of becoming a healer. She is apprenticed under her grandmother, the revered Mata Imo until the prince’s army attacks their village one night. Emmeric is an enemy soldier. He hates the pillaging and death he is forced to wreak, but fighting on the front lines for tyranny is far better than losing his head for treason. When a star falls from the sky during the siege, both of their worlds are thrust into the Heavens.
With Altair, the fallen star; Prince Zane, yearning to stop his father’s reign of tyranny; and a few quirky allies, Iyana and Emmeric will find that their destinies are more intertwined than they could have imagined. On the surface, they may be enemies, but to uncover buried secrets and save their kingdom and the surrounding lands from a despot they will have to put aside their differences and work together.
“Secrets and Stardust” is a fast-paced, steam-filled adventure that is sure to appeal to many fans. With a cast of diverse and compelling main characters, readers will quickly find sympathies with Iyana, Emmeric, Prince Zane, and their companions as they seek to right generations of wrongs. Iyana is an Aztia, a person with magic powers born once in a generation. Emmeric is her counterpart, known as the Kanaliza. Though magicless, he provides the Aztia with a channel for their powers. Together they are said to have the potential to save humanity.
While the trope of star-crossed enemies as fated legendary beings with the potential to save a kingdom may seem overdone to some, it is also a trope that proposes endless possibilities for new twists. Counts’ interpretation is fresh and compelling, and I found myself as intrigued about the intricacies of the mythology of the Aztia and Kanaliza as I was about Iyana and Emmeric’s obvious sexual tension and attraction to each other.
“Secrets and Stardust,” book one of Celestial Whispers, also provides life lessons within its pages through the portrayal of Iyana and Altair’s relationship, Prince Zane’s outward appearance and reputation versus his troubled past and conflicting desires, and the ambition of all humanity to make a better future for generations to come that lessens the suffering of the masses. Altair’s characterization is particularly complex, as on the surface he seems like a divine being who is supposed to be benevolent. He should be protecting Iyana and seeing to it that she and Emmeric succeed in their mission. Yet, as the pages turned, it became obvious that there was something deeper to him. He is a representation to readers – especially teenage girls and young women – that while someone can seem perfect on the surface if we do not look deeper, we may miss red flags.
As the book progressed, we saw glimpses of Altair’s possessive nature. He becomes jealous of Iyana’s growing companionship with Emmeric, and verbally reproaches her about the way he perceives she looks at him, while at the same time stressing that the Aztia and Kanaliza must have a special bond to be successful. He is impatient and harsh with Iyana’s training, degrading her and yelling when she struggles instead of offering constructive, supportive criticisms and teaching. Upon showing glimpses of his true nature, he uses seduction and pretty words to thwart Iyana’s growing suspicions, while Emmeric questions more and more the star’s true motives for joining their band of reluctant heroes.
Overall, “Secrets and Stardust” by Jeannin Counts is a thrilling epic fantasy. Jam-packed with scintillating romance, a frustrating love triangle, and plenty of danger, the burgeoning series is sure to attract a vast and loyal following of young adult readers.
I have finished Secrets and Stardust, under the pop and bang of fireworks. The way my heart is pumping right now…the way I fell head first into loving EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER. My heart has been ripped out of my chest and stomped on. I have been eviscerated. I thought I was being paranoid…and thought then maybe I wasn’t…all to say I’m still so incredibly broken and hurt and now I’m CONFUSED about my feelings…because the things I read and highlighted throughout the book are true? But they’re not? TO WHAT END?!
Anyway. This book was incredible. I was hooked from the very beginning, and the way this world was built? Perfection. I am usually not a fan of every character, but in the case of this book? I fell head over heels for each one. The evil emperor was written so well, and the multi-faceted characters made them so relatable. Jeannin Counts managed to create a world so immersive and addictive that I’m not quite sure how I’ll be able to survive before the next book comes out. There was not a single slow part of the book, it was an adventure from moment to moment, not knowing what would come next. Tempers were flaring, danger was always lurking, and the initially unwilling, but honorable and good heroes created a deep bond with one another. I commend the author for the way the love story was written, it kept me guessing, and I was never quite sure which way it was going to go. And then when I thought I knew, I was surprised once again. The fact that we didn’t only have one romance throughout the book made it so much deeper. I loved that the love story was multi faceted, and gave so many different underlying feelings and actions when it comes to building love. Characters were showing tenderness, understanding, protectiveness, possessiveness, vulnerability, joy, and fear. I loved the way their love stories were written and weren’t based solely on attraction, although all of the main characters being attractive was definitely great in my mind.
Highly recommend this book and this author. The writing was top notch and the story holds on and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait until the next one!!
⭐️Spice level 4/5 ⭐️Slow burn 🔥 ⭐️Incredible characters 🙌🏼 ⭐️Twists and turns galore ⭐️ solid writing and prose
1. I KNEW IT 2. HOW COULD YOU?!?! 3. You have broken my heart 4. I don't think we can be friends anymore. You know what you did.
Seriously though, from the very first sentence I was consumed by this book. It was like I was transported right into the world and was a part of Iyana's little found family.
I wish you would give my boys a break though (and not literally. No more breaking my boys).
It was so easy for me to fall head over heels in love with the characters. Kaz is also a whole damn mood and I'm keeping her forever (you hear me, Jeannine? FOREVER. DO NOT TEST ME).
Between the incredible story telling, the insanely interesting lore, and the adventure, this is everything I look for in a fantasy book. The spice and romance thrown in were just icing on the cake. I'm still crossing my fingers for a certain snide remark made by one Kaz to turn out to be foreshadowing.
This book gave me every emotion under the sun...then it reached into my chest, grabbed my heart, ripped it out of my chest, and served it to me on a silver platter.
I sincerely hope you're working on/are almost finished with book two because I need some retribution and some bloodshed.
Is there anything better than starting a new romantasy series with a unique magical system, relatable and fun characters with lgbtq+ rep? 𝙉𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩.
The words Iyanas Grandmother always told her when she glanced at the night sky are long forgotten when her village is ferociously attacked. Without knowing or meaning to, Iyana pulls a star from the sky.. and his name is Altair.
Iyana is thrust into a destiny full of long lost magic, found family and an all consuming love. She must learn the real truth about why the magic was lost amongst humans, why the Gods left to slumber and that the stars are more than they seem.
The story itself is complex enough to keep you learning alongside Iyana the whole time, but not too intense that you can't follow along and secrets are revealed layer by layer.
Iyana, the FMC, is naive but headstrong. Being a healer, she's not trained in combat and she must learn to use her new magic, but she's not a damsel by any means. She is swept up by Altair completely, I mean who wouldn't fall in love with a literal star who called you "my love."
However, that's where Emmeric comes in. Royal guard for Prince Zane, he is captured the night of the attack and learns he is tied to Iyana by fate. The more time they spend together, Emmeric slowly falls for Iyana; her stubborn mind, her bravery and her empathy. But he can't have her.
The tension, pining and jealousy had me kicking my feet. The spice was 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 and oh so good.
Of course Iyana, Altair and Emmeric are not alone and are joined by the flirtatious and goofball Talon, Emmerics brother from another mother. Crown Prince Zane who I just adored and Kaz, gangbang extraordinaire with a hidden past. Each character brings something unique and special to the plot and really help the story move along at a great pace
This is a character driven book and it is so well done. Their personalities and interactions are so well done. While Iyana is the main character, I found myself drawn into the others so much more. Between Talon, Kaz, Emmeric and Zane it is so hard to pick a favorite. But my favorite thing about them is they are all diverse and unique. Each one holds true to themselves their diversity is welcomed and celebrated rather than judged or diminished. I also got sucked into the history of this world. It is fascinating and evolving throughout the story. I also realllly liked how the "bond" is done in this book. It doesn't follow the typical cliche which can be reduntant. Instead their is more choice, with the focus being on the effects the bond has on the magic rather than their realtionship. Overall fantastic book and I am impatiently awaiting to next book to see what happens!
I absolutely loved all the characters! They all had such funny quirks and really made me feel like I was there with them.
If you prefer your romances as more of a why choose instead of a love triangle, not sure you're going to enjoy this. You really get down deep with Emmeric's feelings as he grows more attached to Iyana, but she is with Altair. The more the book progressed, I couldn't help but be drawn to one over the other and rooting the whole time.
That ending left me gutted, hand to the mouth, with tears. I am now desperate for book 2 and to find how this series concludes.
Read if you love: -Tension -Love triangles -Found family -Star daddy -Multi POV
Oh my goodness!!! This book took me by total surprise. I am having a hard time even gathering my thoughts about it because wow wow wow. The ending was magnificent and I need the next book asap.
This one has a lovely cast of diverse characters that formed into a found family as time went on. I absolutely loved the idea of a chosen one really being a chosen pair and one is an amplifier to the others magic. Top notch.
The author did an amazing job at writing a fun fantasy book with plenty of heartfelt, tense, and lighthearted moments. It didn’t feel forced. It read so easily that it was like watching a move in my head. If you like fantasy and romance read this book.
I listened to the audiobook- and by that I mean I binged the audiobook in 2 days. Sleep? Not important.
The absolute whirlwind of emotions this book put me through has me feeling like I just ran a marathon 😅 like I need to go stare at a wall for a few hours to unpack them all 😂😂 I laughed, literally out loud, I cried real tears, I snapped my head so fast in shock it’s a miracle I didn’t hurt myself…
Lore? 10/10 World building? 10/10 Having to wait for book two? 💔😭😭😭
Such a great read! I loved all the different aspects of this book and how the author tied them all together! And I love a good love triangle! Good world building without it overpowering the current story. Enjoyed the multiple point of views. It really helped me understand all sides of the story without me having to pretend/makeup what each character was thinking or doing. Some good twist and turns that kept me engaged and coming back for more. Can’t wait to see what the next book holds!
Officially finished the book! It took a bit to get into, although I was reading a couple other things in the meantime.
There’s so much story, mystery, questions, characters, worlds that I haven’t read about in any capacity yet in all my Romantasy worlds and that makes me sooo happy!!
Some different magic stuff, but like ??? Stars are humans ?? Constellations are families ?? And then add in all the plot twists and shit on top of all of it + adventure + bad guys + good guys saving the day + cute side characters.
I just 🤌🏻💳 (meme about slamming credit card down onto table top hahah )
I loved this book, the found family of it all, the magic system, it truly pulled me in and wouldn’t release me. There was good spice in it as well, and while I’m not a huge fan of the love triangle trope, this one was one that I found myself interested in more than I’d expected to be, which was a nice surprise. I am absolutely ready for book 2!
Finally, something different and outside of the box! I love a good fantasy read with a story line and This delivers. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because I struggled with the writing style. It felt like it was bouncing between 3rd person and 1st person and I found myself confused and re reading passages to ensure I knew who was saying or doing what. I’m looking forward to reading the next book!!
I loved this book. I even put off Onyx Storm to finish it. The storyline was so good. And I fell in love with the characters. The spice was great, too 🥵 I’m anxious for book 2, especially after that cliffhanger 😩 If you love fantasy and romance, you’ll enjoy this book.
I had to really sit and digest what I read after I finished because it wrecked me to my core the story line was phenomenal the characters were funny and witty and every piece of this book was amazing I’m so happy I was chosen for the arc read. The tension in the love triangle and the whiplash I got at the end from that plot twist I absolutely can’t wait for the next book!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put it down! It's so new and fresh. I haven't read anything like it before! I can't wait for the second one!
I just finished Secrets and Stardust! I was awesome! I've never been drawn into a fantasy book by just the first couple of sentences and didn't want to put it down! This book had everything I like in a fantasy book, humor, mystery, suspense, love, and a battle to save the world.
