I will be the first to admit that I am a total menage addict and find that as long as i am in the right mindset, I can find something positive in the smut I read. This book was a total surprise and was by far the best menage book I have read in a while...it really raises the bar for all my other smut ratings :-)

Monica is a psychic who reads sexual energy by touching people and objects people have come in contact with. She is the housekeeping manager in a posh hotel, so you can probably imagine how most of her days must be--flooded with erotic images on a very regular basis. As a result, she does her best to keep her hands to herself and pretty much keeps to herself. Monica is single and has few if any friends outside her 2 psychic sisters...that is until Owen and Alec charge into her life. From the second she meets them, she is pummeled with vivid images of their sexual experiences and exploits. These very hot, very domineering men make quick work of tearing down her defensive walls and building up her sexual appetite. Owen and Alec were one of the hottest same sex couples I have ever read about! Yum!

I was totally consumed from the very beginning of this book. Not only are the characters likable, smart and hot, their sexual encounters were off the charts...wow! The cherry on top was that there was actually a story I was interested in and I truly wanted to know the outcome. I just can't say enough great things about this book. I really encourage you to get it if you are even a little intrigued by menage reads.

FYI: M/M/F

I was having several issues with this book. It's well written, and is an somewhat entertaining read, but I don't see why "everyone" seems to be falling over themselves for this book.

My biggest issue was the heroine, Monica, and her "woe is me" and her constant negative referral to herself. She came across whiny and immature.

The author's choice of words also rubbed me the wrong way. Especially the constant use of the word "debauched" - you're writing a menage story! That word gave the whole story a negative feel to it. It was as if hooking up with two guys is something to be ashamed of. If Ms Walker feels threesomes are a bad thing, I don't understand why she writes menage books. Really.

Another thing that stands out, is that only one of the men, Owen, had intercourse with Monica basically through the whole book. The second man, Alec, didn't get to hook up with Monica until the very end of the book. And I do mean the very fucking end. As in the last chapter.

This is supposed to be a menage story, and it's supposed to be sexy and explicit. It's rather tame.

One big plus for the book, is that Ms Walker wrote in actual sex between the men, thus making this a real menage book, and saving it from the 2/5 star rating I was going to give it.

The plot was kinda weak though, I guessed who the culprit was from the get-go.

Monica’s psychic ability makes it difficult to let anyone in much a less a lover, but there’s something about Owen and Alec that encourages her to open up physically, emotionally and psychically in this sizzling erotic romance.

When Monica touches an object she gets not only the images but the entire sexual experience of the person the item belongs to and of course being labeled a freak has kept her emotionally closed off, especially in the relationship department and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Owen and Alec not only open her heart but has her exploring desires she didn’t know she had. The characters are strong, compelling and easily related to and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot holds readers captive with lots of suspense and passion.

Expectation builds right alongside passion as the story progresses and the frequent sex scenes including m/f/m, mm/f, m/m and light bondage scenes, scorch readers with a fiery intensity that leaves readers with a burning passion of their own. And with the added excitement of the reason that Owen and Alex is at the hotel chain just adds additional spice to the story, especially as they take advantage of Monica’s passion in a few unexpected places. The well written scenes and details ignites fantasies and brings the story to life and the well orchestrated events and suspense ensures that the reader can’t put the book down until they have read every last sizzling page.

I was completely caught up in this story from the very beginning and the author’s unexpected twists and interesting elements added a freshness to the story that made for a refreshing change and I am looking forward to reading Monica’s sisters’ story to find out what happens with their psychic abilities.

The blurb was interesting. The book not so much.

Two main problems:

1) The erotic scenes seemed forced. Have you ever read a book in which you feel the author seems uncomfortable writing some scenes? Don't ask me why, but I felt that way while reading this book. The book let me feeling the author didn't have too much experience writing menage stories and that it wasn't her " thing".

2) The author didn't seem to know what to do with the paranormal element (psychometry in this case). The element was interesting, but it was just merely as an excuse to bring the bondage element.

Another thing that bothers me, is that once more our " heroine" is presented as someone professional and sensible to then have her acting as a hormone ridden teenager just as soon as she meets the " heroes".
I know, I know... this is the genre where the " chubby/curvy" girls get the hot as hell guys who in real life wouldn't look their way twice. But still... I find it demeaning!

MMF romance where the "F" (Monica) is the focus of the menage relationship, and both guys (Owen and Alec) want her to complete their relationship. I really liked that.

The guys set out to seduce her and she loves seeing them together. I really, really like that.

I have always loved a good fairytale - here Monica is rescued from a mediocre life, a life further hampered by her special ability. Her princes are a wealthy and handsome Dom (Owen), and his lover and assistant (Alec). Not quite the fairytale HEA ending...but close.

My first Saskia Walker story and I'll seek out more. First, her psychic ability was unusual. Second, it was intriguing that the guys just sort of sensed her fear of touching and worked around it. Interesting that the bondage gave her freedom to just enjoy what they were doing. The suspense portion of the plot was a little odd, but hey, it gave the porn some plot. :-) I think this is the first menage with two males I've read where there was no anal for the girl. So anyway, all in all a good, juicy story.

Lily’s Review:

Monica has a secret that she never wants the man in her life to find out. After all when one can see erotic fantasies come to life how can the real thing ever compete?

In Monica’s Secret this wickedly hot story will take you down a path that is full of twists and turns and oh so hot lovin’ by two hunks. This is not your typical boy meets boy who wants girl erotic menage. I could truly feel the romance between all three of the characters and loved every page!

Monica’s Secret was a really fun read to curl up with and I devoured it in one sitting and would read it again and again as time permits! While there are some paranormal themes woven throughout, it is done so subtly that it truly enhances the book! From almost the first page you get a really good feeling of just how hard this gift is for Monica to have and while it can make her toes curl, it can be a HUGE distraction at the same time!

So of you like hunks, handcuffs, and a good mystery add Monica’s Secret by Saskia Walker to your collection today!

I thought the premise of this book was pretty cool. Monica is able to feel the sexual history of any object she puts her hands on. The beginning scene, when you learn this, was steamy and intriguing. However, I think it fell a bit flat. Nothing really ever came of it, except a reason for her to enjoy some light bondage.

The story was hot at times, but was hard for me to get into at others. This might have something to do with the fact that the author is British. There were some word phrases and slang that I wasn't very familiar with. But it still felt a little disjointed at times, even confusing.

That said, I don't think it was bad. Alec and Owen were pretty interesting (especially Alec, I liked him the most) and really cared about making her comfortable and secure from their first time together. So... three stars. Didn't love it, but didn't hate it.

I'm going to be straight up and say that I just wanted more of this story. I think what we got was great, but it felt fragmented. We miss out on so much development wise with these characters that I just didn't feel the connection to them. We also never achieve a true menage scene with them, so I found it sorely lacking in that department given this was supposed to be a menage relationship. I also hated that Alec was always put on the back burner. He never factors in very much into the story where the relationship is concerned, and I think it could have added so much more to it. The overall plot was quite predictable and a tad far fetched where her abilities are concerned, but that didn't bother me nearly as much as the lack of development when it came to the character's relationship. I'm going to take a pass on continuing further with this series.

Monica's Secret is a delicious erotic feast of a novel, set in the luxurious world of a high class hotel. Lucky Monica gets involved with not one, but two handsome men, Owen and Alec, who've been sent to investigate an intrigue at her workplace. The three embark on a sizzling affair, with many lushly described scenes of hot threesome lovemaking and m/m action, all laced with elements of bondage and domination, voyeurism and exhibitionism. To balance the intense sexual storyline, there are also deeper emotional elements too, where the characters face up to personal issues with their relationship as a catalyst. Monica in particular learns to accept a part of her life that's always been part gift, part curse, and embraces it with the help of her exciting new lovers. A luscious read!

There were several aspects of this story I enjoyed. I thought it was well written, I liked the dynamic between our leading characters, I enjoyed the setting and the pnr/psychic element was a nice addition to the story. The mystery part was a full on dud for me. Honestly, I wasn't as caught up in the story as I would've liked to have been. The erotic aspects and interactions were pretty great but not quite enough to round out the story to a 4 star level for me.

1. Menage
2. m/m action
3. Mild bondage
4. Hot Brits in business suits
5. A slight mystery
6. Heroine is psychic in that she can tell the sexual history of people she touches.
7. I loved all the characters

I am starting the second in this series now. Holly's Intuition.

Oh. My. God.

What an amazing story. I'm not a menage-story fan, because I simply don't get the sharing of someone (I'm a Scorpio, so sue me), but I absolutely adored this one. It had a perfect blend of story and sex - no PWP in this one - every scene had its purpose and it meant something for the overall story and character evolution.

Amazing.

This one was good. I thought the premise was really intriguing, and I wish her gift would've come into play a little more. I enjoyed their relationship, though! Seemed a way different spin on a menage . Not a whole lot of mystery, but still a fun read!

I did not like this book. I liked the IDEA of the book and the story concept, but it was not a hot and steamy read for me. I didn't like the writing - characters were pretty two demensional and I didn't grow attached to them. There was the chance for some hot mmf sex, but it never really happened. The smut scenes did nothing for me. Not hot at all.

I really enjoyed this book. The plot was great, the characters were developed well for the book length, the sex scenes were steamy and erotic, not a soft-porn wanna-be and the intrigue added a fantastic element to an already rich story about an unusual woman.

I'll be hunting down more from this author!!

Smoking hot!

A little mystery to go along with the hot sex and take charge attitude of Owen. Monica never has a chance one he and his PA Alex set their sights on her. Once they realize she is more than ok with their sexual desires for each other, game on! This is a M/M/F book. Highly recommend!!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Wow this is another one you won’t put down until the last page is read. Three interesting people two guys and one very unique lady. This is part of a series about three sisters each sister with a different ability. Monica has the ability to see the emotions/sex scenes from an object like doorknob or a credit card any object for that matter. So, to keep from doing that she doesn’t touch anything or anyone for that matter especially at the hotel where she works. One day her boss asked her to help out two potential investors, help them learn the issues with the hotel and possible changes that need to be made. Owen and Alex are the investors they are together, they share everything when they meet Monica, they are immediately attracted to her, admire her beauty and her professional manner. Monica isn’t able to stay away from Owen and Alex she is fascinated with their relationship, but it is their mannerisms that draw her in. Will they accept her after she reveals her ability to them and will they find happiness the three of them?

A good MMF psychic story.

Monica and her two sisters inherited different "gifts" which they have to hide because of past bad experiences. She hides her "gift" by being a head housekeeper for a highend hotel chain. Owen and Alec are lovers, coworkers, and bisexual and are at the hotel to uncover money discrepancies for their board of directors.

My overall opinions-
Their menage relationship is sexy, hot, and caring. I love her strength with a little innocence mixed in. That said, if she has a problem touching things why in the world would she work in a hotel having to touch lots of things where thousands of people come to stay? Makes no sense.

Even though they're supposed to be equal, Owen is definitely the alpha male that Alec steps back and takes care of. Alec is supposed to be the accountant expert, suspects a problem, but doesn't figure it out before it's revealed. And even though the three of them were on the right track- they didn't solve the problem. The perpetrator got nervous and let slip the evil deed.

If you're looking for a hot, very sexy read- I recommend this story, but if you're looking for a strong, well written, romantic suspense, this leaves a bit to be desired.

Pretty good M/M/F Romance Trash 🙃

Monica and her sisters have special psychic abilities, this series has a book about each sister finding love, in part, due to her special powers. Books 1 & 2 (Monica and Holly) find our protagonists falling for bisexual men who are already in a relationship w/each other, ending in a polyamorous triad where the balance is equal (all three love each other romantically)....I really like that kind of balance much better. Faye's installment is different, her Heroes are just friends (!no homo!) and they bring that up a couple of times. I enjoyed all of the books and book three also updates us on the characters from the first two books, which I really appreciated. I would recommend these books to anyone who enjoys ménage romances and pretty steamy sex scenes, including M/M in the first two books.

I was interested in the synopsis for this story, but admit I really didn’t expect it to develop well as many erotica tend to focus primarily on sex scenarios. I am happy to say I was so wrong! This story is fully developed and you are drawn into the mystery of both the situation and the individual characters.

There is a beautiful balance between sex and intimacy that is not as well developed in other erotica. You definitely feel like this is an enticing, even romantic, book that just happens to also be erotica. And, yes, to intimate scenes are hot.

I was drawn into this as a series, which surprised me, and am looking forward to reading about Monica’s sisters, Faye and Holly.

I highly recommend this for mature adult readers. :)

This is a good and very steamy MMF romance with a nice plot with a few twists included. Monica's backstory left me feeling sad that her gift had screwed up her life up to the beginning of the story, left her sexually frustrated, and had to be hidden both because it could be used against people but also because people thought she was a crackpot if she said anything about it. The plot was believable and the main characters came across as real people who truly cared about their jobs and supporting the people around them. Nicely written with no startling grammar issues or skips in the story. Well done.

3 is not a crowd

I received an ARC from BookSprout and am leaving my review voluntarily. It was previously published in 2012. This story involves a MMF relationship where all are together.

Triggers:
MMF, explicit descriptions of sex, a little bondage

Spoilers:
Owen and Alec are partners, in work and in their private lives. They are investigating fraud at the hotel.

Monica, has an unusual ability to "experience" others sexual past if she touches an object, is drawn to both men when they come to the hotel where she works.

A bit of mystery, intrigue, insta lust, sexy time. HEA

Really enjoyed this book. I thought the author did a nice job in creating a believable story.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, it was a story about Monica who has a psychic ability but it’s through her touch but she can find out information. She is the housekeeping manager at a motel chain in London and when she is called on to show two gentleman, Owen and Alec around the motel, things are not quite what they seem and as they explore the issues in the motel as well as their own relationship with each other things develop in a way that she hasn’t planned for. It is an exciting story as well as a sexual discovery.
