It's been very fun watching how these three novellas tie together. I hope to one day see a full-length novel with all three couples - getting to see friendships forming among all of them will be as much fun as watching the couples fall for each other and there's ample material here to create a full-length novel with what Earth and the Coallition are now facing.
I liked Paige, but I really felt for Khel. He was so overwhelmed, but circumstances didn't let him wallow in it. He had to adapt fast and he did. Once he stopped worrying about being a glitch and accepted himself as is, he turned out to be a great guy and very human. Paige did some growing too, becoming a better human for letting herself feel for someone in addition to the planet. They were fun to watch together, both clever and resourceful when necessary. I almost felt sorry for those cyborg vampire frog aliens. Almost.
Can't wait for more in this series!

Khel is definitely out of his depth when it comes to Paige initially and I enjoyed that his reactions aren't what she is expecting either. It is a fun read and I enjoyed watching them deal with the Tau Ceti and each other.

Great Series, Khel and Paige are good for each other
Khel is second in command on the Arbiter. Adam sends him after Brendan's sister Paige.
Paige is a passionate environmentalist. She is opinionated and stubborn to the point that she ignores self preservation and sees those trying to keep her safe as interfering with her life and work. Khel is just another in a long line of bodyguards sent by her brother.
Paige gets a reality check when she is attacked at the gym by a saber tooth cyborg gecko, aka Tau Ceti. She starts to take the threat to her life more seriously. It doesn't take long for Khel and Paige to figure out what the Tau Ceti are up to and it is so much more that feeding off humans.
They pose an even bigger threat than first suspected. Not only is Earth in danger but the Coalition as well. The Tau Ceti aren't the only ones who have their eyes on a piece of Earth.
The short time Paige and Khel have spent together, Paige sees a future with someone.
Fast paced and a little steamy. Great series.
