Hey, I've got Heartless in my TBR too. I'll join in... if its okay?
I knew Jane wouldn't be able to resist joining in! Yay!Jane, I love Jurassic Park! Haven't read those books since probably 8th grade. Might be time to reread!!! :)
Moderators of Nothing but Reading Challenges wrote: "There is an old thread here for Heartless, with DQs, if you want. Or let us know, if you want the Mods to set up a new thread for you. You may use the old DQs or not, up to you."Might ask for a new one for Sallie, Lisa and I if you don't mind? Glancing through that thread, there are a lot of spoilers for us new readers. I know I, at least, haven't read the book before.
Thank you so much!
If you want, if Mods haven't set up a new thread yet, I can make a thread in the Mango Tango spot and post the old DQs up there with spoiler boxes so you guys can do them as you go along?

1. Mr Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan"
Jane, I read this book when it first came out, and I *loved it! Who can resist a book about books? :)
I finished my first book! And I filled in tentative titles for all but one of the spaces. We'll see how it goes :)
Some of my buddies from other teams saw this and want to jump in with us since it's a just for fun thing. Any objections? I told them I'd double check since it started as a team thing!
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zZ...I'm not so sophisticated as to know how to put images into a reply here, so here's an appropriate image link that I think you'll all love.
I special ordered a Tardis iPhone case from the UK... X) I have a doctor who lunchbox still in the wrapper too hahahaha
Also, LK, feel free to jump in on the "just for fun" if you want to :)"
Like I need an excuse to buy it on audio! LOL!
Time Lord Steven wrote: "Favorite companion???"Are we talking old school or new...I liked the Tom Baker years and those Key to Time episodes. I think the companion was Romana and their were two of them because she regenerated. Sarah Jane Smith and K9 were great also. that's testing my memory as I was only a kid and I haven't watched them since.
Of the recent episodes I liked Rose Tyler and her mum and Mickey Smith and Amy and Rory... didn't like Martha. Oh and Capt Jack was a hoot.
And the Stone angels are unreal...
Sorry everybody else who hasn't got a clue what I'm talking about.
I love Martha! Rose, Mickey, and Jackie are my least favorites, but I LOVE Donna Noble! liked Martha and Amy, Rory I could take or leave, adore Captain Jack, and am really digging Clara!Haven't watched any of the old series yet, but it's on my queue for Netflix!
Yes, how could I have forgotten the DoctorDonna and the Ood. They gave my husband nightmares!A lot of Dr Who purists didn't like the whole romantic theme with the Doctor and Rose Tyler. But as an old romantic I loved it. This season really confused me but I liked Matt Smith's steampunk doctor and Clara and River Song.
The old series is a bit dated now but worth a look especially the Jon Pertwee/Tom Baker/Peter Davison years.
I wonder who will be the new Doctor?

lol @ your attempt to shorten my team name. MANGO/TANGO seems way better...mostly because it doesn't have a Y in it :D
I'm going on vacation this month, so I might actually finish this! We'll see. Thanks again for letting me play, guys!Completed: 15/15
