I didn't write this I just thought it was really good...

Movies tend to be no more than two hours long. For most that is long enough, especially when you are sitting in a theater. But is that really enough time to fit all of are beloved eclipse moments. I know all of us hardcore twilighters would sit for hours upon hours in a movie theater, but we do need to look at this rationally. In twilight there were some scenes that cut from the movie that were major things in the book and having those things out of the movie caused a uproar in a lot of boards and forums. But did having those things cut really make a difference, people who hadn’t read twilight, still got the idea behind the book. Anyways back to eclipse, eclipse is a good size book. A lot happens and I’m afraid that some major scenes could risk getting cut. Here is a list of my top 20 some scenes that should be in the movie.

(Note: these are in order that they appeared in the book)

1. Charlie passing notes between Bella and Jacob. - To me this just shows how bad things got between Jacob and Bella. And just how bad its hurting Jacob (Arggg, I cant believe I just said that because I am so not a Jacob fan. Team Edward all the way!!)

2. All of the newspaper articles about Seattle. - If we didn’t have this then a lot of people who didn’t read the book would be very lost.

3. The trip to see Renee. - I think this is a must because, otherwise Renee would never see how Bella and Edward act together.

4. The English note conversation.- Ok I’ll admit it, this isn’t a major thing but I just love the scene so much. I had to throw it in here, plus it’s a good follow up on the trip.

5. Save the Olympic Wolf/ Jacob scene - This Scene shows how much Bella misses Jacob and the fact that you have to work fast when there’s a psychic vampire involved.

6. Angela and Bella - Its nice to see Bella hang out with other people, other than the Cullens.

7. Alice kidnapping Bella - The amazing Porsche finally comes into play. Bella and Alice get to spend more time together. Also Rosalie becomes a little bit like-able.

8. Jacobs school rescue. - it’s a nice little touch.

9. (MIA) Room - When they really start to realize that someone is after Bella

10. Knife incident - Edward gets to be light-hearted and funny.

11. Bomb fire - Bella first gets the idea of the third wife

12. Jasper’s Story - Who doesn’t love hearing about Jasper’s past, plus it helps Bella understand being a newborn vampire a little bit more

13. The kiss - Jacob trying to make Bella realize that she loves him to, so he kisses her. Really how can this not be in it. And a bonus Emmett gets to have his very famous funny line.

14. The bet - I know that this one is small, but I like it

15. Graduation/party - A lot happens Bella figures out some major information and everyone finally gets to see the Cullens’ house. Jacob also makes Bella a bracelet (which I own)

16. Training - MAJOR

17. Comprise - MAJOR, MAJOR. Hello this is like the biggest must have ever. I say every little detail should be in the movie.

18. The tent - Bella realizes she loves both Jacob and Edward

19. The fight - need I say more

20. Poor Jacob - Jacob’s whole right side of his body is broken. Bella gets to spend time with him alone. it’s a very cute scene

21. Planning - Alice finds out she gets to plan a wedding.

Awwww yeah... those are some good ones. I hope none get cut out.

Well i wouldnt mind so much if 1,4,or 14 get cut out...but i would still like to have them

12. 31, 20, and 21 are SO important. (Not really 21 but its funny) and if they cut those out... I'll be soo mad.

I know I will be way pissed if they screw up jaspers story!!!

yeah, i think ALL of the points that Stephanie said were VERY important. i don't think they will show Rosalies, because then it would have to be A-rated right?

Yah, they'll probably just skim over certain parts.

Number 8 is really important to me cuz Motercycles are HOT and taylor launter being on a motercycle WOULD BE SO HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also that part is so funny, and they HAVE to add it bc thats when bella really starts hanging out with jake more!

I really want to see the part where Jacob peels into the school grounds and talks to Edward and Bella, I wonder how Taylor Lautner would play that Jacob. I am also a sucker for when he again comes in on his motorcycle and springs her from school, haven't seen that kind of rebellion in a while. *sigh*

Those are good ones(: I agree with you too Melzz. That would be amazing to see that in the Eclipse movie.

Melzz, that would be sweetness watching Taylor playing that kind of Jake. I'm actually looking forward to seeing that scene

6. the 2 parts when jacob comes to forks high
7. jacob saying he'd rather see bella dead
8. jacob talking about the eclipse

I want EVERYTHING in Eclipse that happends in the book. Although that's not going to happen by a long shot!

I love that part. But I don't like later in the book how she fell for it when Jacob said he was going to kill himself.

I'd have to disagree, I actually like that part. It just goes to show how desperate he is to keep her, in his mind, "safe". He's willing to lie or do whatever it takes for her.

I really don't think they captured the lightness and joking side of the characters. Some of the parts in Twilight (movie) wernt' supossed to be funny but were.

Yeah. Like, during some of the 'intense' parts (okay, 99% of them, I admit), I was laughing hysterically. I mean, you have to admit, some of the Twilight movie was a bit cheesy.

i think, my opinion, is that The whole Twilight Sage is pretty much just plain cheesy. in new moon, 10 pages r chock full of fake lover's talk. But cheesy is fun.

We can all stand to get a fair amount of cheesy in our lives.

I think each page of those books are important and I want it all in the movie!! But I know its not possible!!

But hale yah....all those listed above should be there! so far we know that

1) Florida scene is there
2) Graduation
3) BIG Fight scene is there
4) Walk in the woods/bleeding hand/jacob-bella trip to the mountains is there (so TENT scene is in)
5) Riley-Vic coochy-coo scene is there.
6) Jasper story is there

I like D Slade Twit pics, he has a good eye...if this is an indication then I say visually the movie will be great!!

They did a casting for "Royce", so we also know Rosalie's story will be included. Thats the only thing you missed, you got most of it. :)

This link leads people through a maze of telemarketing offers you have to see to get to the so-called script...all of which I replied 'NO' to and after a few minutes it led me to the script Download option of using Server 1 or Server 2 and both options did not work. Don't waste your time! It's bogus!

i read the eclipse script that had been linked and i looove it. it did not follow much the progression in the book but still it was good. :) im so excited for eclipse!

*Compromise!!!!!!!!!!!we need to see the compomise!!!!!!!!! with the agreement about the wedding very clear and especific (hahahahahaha)

*and the night in the woods before the fight when Jacob and Edward talk and Bella is listenning

I like most of those too except the bonfire, they need to shorten that. I read all the books several times each and the first time I read them word for word and the second, I definitely would skip pages the chapter with the bonfire being one of them. It was to long, so I hope they shorten that scene. Ok she goes to the fire, you hear maybe part of the story but that's it. The only thing that really came out of it was the third wife. I would rather see some of the playfullness between Edward and Bella and Jacob, the love triangle. The fun. Guess we'll see in June, can't wait.
