This is my favourite so far!
Harper has gone her whole life not knowing the meaning to have a true family. And wham the ending was brilliant because.. She does. She just didn't know!
And what's best is who her family actually is!
Jackson and Harpers relationship breaks down because Jackson will do anything to protect her, but they survive everything and their relationship/bond just gets stronger as it builds back up!

I read the first five of these in a little over a day. They're not really thick or very long, but the wealth of information in them is astounding. Cannon's writing style also leaves very few words wasted. I can't say I'm invested in the series, it's fluff to me. Fluff with demons, but you can safely read the series and not worry about anything super-horrible happening to the characters you're familiar with and fond of.

Rival Demons is the fifth book in the Peachville Demons series. This series is one of the best YA Paranormal series that I have ever read. Rival Demons is the perfect installment to this wonderful series. Rival Demons is one of the best books that I have read this year. I loved everything about this books. I have not complaints. This book played out like a movie within my mind's eye. You can't but help fall in love with the protagonist, a strong and independent lead, who voices doubts within herself that we can all relate to at some point in life. It's only when she embraces her strength, that we see the strength she is capable of, that surprises us all and has us asking "how was that even possible?"

Totally Addicting!!!! And each book gets better than the previous one!!
I cannot wait until the next book comes out! This one had a twist that I didn't see coming and I'm looking forward to the next part of the story! I've been loving this easy to read, fun, and interesting YA fantasy series. This fifth book was supposed to a) release this past fall (November I think) and b) be the final book in the series. It just published because the author got pregnant and took much longer to finish than she anticipated. how can I put into words all that I love about not only this book but the series as a whole? I would sound something like this "wow, just wow. I mean really wow. amazing" Definitely not one of my finer moments but what can I say this series has grabbed hold of me. I anxiously awaited the release of this book and have loved every minute that I spent with Jackson and Harper.

I have been a unabashed fan girl of Sarra's since the very first book in the series, Beautiful Demons. I loved this novel, and cannot wait for the next installment. Harper keeps her head high, and plows through like she’s always done. There are three words to describe "Rival Demons": "Non stop action!" This story picks right up where book 4 ends. Harper escapes death by the hands of the witch coven by entering the demon realm thanks to Mary Anne, Lea and Jackson. Rival Demons is easily my favorite addition to the series. The ending is AMAZING. It is like with the last four pages so many things make sense. Within the pages of Rival Demons, Sarra Cannon transforms the series into something completely new.

Short and sweet. I was a little disappointed with this. She originally planned this as a 5 book series and I think maybe the $'s got in the way of her vision. JMO and I don't want to sound mean. If the last book is story from beginning to end I will amend this review and say so. Don't get me wrong, I reallly liked this book but there was some world building that seemed to be done just to do it. AWESOME! i loved this book... this series is one of the few that i've read that doesn't have a single bad book or parts that drag... it's non stop something happening... and this one was wow i don't even know what to say... but the ending was a definite twist... and the whole book just makes me hope she hurries up with the next one... This is the fifth book of her Peachville High Demons series, and in my opinion, it's currently my favorite. I reserve the right to change that when I read the final book in the series, Demons Forever. Each book in this series gets better and better as Harper continues to learn more about herself, the mysterious town of Peachville, and the Order of Shadows.

Sarra Cannon has done it again. This books was just as fantastic as the others. She has created a great YA paranormal series that takes the reader on a breath-taking journey through a world full of magic and wonder. I love everything about this series. At first I was a little thrown off, the author did not pick up exactly how she left off in the last book. I thought I had missed something but a little bit in she explains somewhat of what I was missing. That was the only thing that I did not really like about this 5th installement. Wow! Really love these characters and the way that good is not always good and evil is not always evil. Great curveball at the end. Awesome continuation of this really good series. I read on goodreads that there is only one more book! I feel like this series is just hitting it's stride. I can't believe it's almost over.

Rival Demons literally starts where book #4 ended. Each of these books just keeps getting better and better. This is by far my favorite book of the series yet and I think the next one will just be the icing on the cake. We are finally starting to get some much needed answers and if you're like me, you'll NEVER see the twist coming :)
It felt like the whole time Harper was in the Underground was a waste of time. If Cannon had cut half of that out it would have been a better read.
Still, this is a great story with some really exciting twists. Just the last two chapters made this a 4 1/2 star book! Can't wait for book six.

I think this is the best book in the series. Some much has happened when Harper, Jackson, Lea, and Mary Anne entered into the Shadow World. So they all go to the Underground, which has a whole community of shadow demons who are trying to fight against the Order. Not gonna happen. I don't want to spoil anyone. But I really love this series and if you are reading this and haven't read it yet. Why haven't you started reading yet?!!
Another fun, fast read (I finished it in one day.) For some reason, I thought this was the last book in the series, so I was starting to get worried as I got closer to the end of it that it was going to have a terrible ending. But then I discovered that there is still one more book.
During the last book, I was feeling like the story was starting to drag out a bit too much, but this one sped up, and threw some really fun and new ideas into the mix. It was very entertaining.
