Lots of people have been asking what Lena’s charm necklace looks like in the Beautiful Creatures Novels.  I just happen to have a few pictures because Margie and I made Lena’s necklace — two actually — right after we finished writing the book.

The black stone from Barbados, the red string from her sweater the day she hung out with Ethan at the water tower, her mother’s raven charm, the tab from her first can of orange soda, the wire Christmas tree star from Lila’s Christmas town . . . they’re all there and then some.

Each time Lena added a charm to her necklace in the books, we added the same charm to our own necklaces in real life.
