Since 1883, the parchments of Qumran, which are primarily a testimony on the origins of Christianity, have been appearing in Jerusalem. The Bedouins who travel across desolate places of the Dead Sea found them and took them to the Holy City. In these parchments lie the answers to questions asked for hundreds of years, such as: Who killed Jesus? Who is the Messiah that Jews await with so much fervor? The work of Abécassis constitutes an exciting trip trough Jewish mysticism, Hasidism, and Christianity and the binding cultural elements that keep these pillars standing.

--Denis Gombert
