Ad essere onesto non l'ho letto tutto da cima a fondo, ma ho spiluccato i capitoli che mi interessavano. Forse il difetto più grande è di usare una delle primissime versioni (1.0.2) di Zend Framework, e quindi di reinventare ruote che poi sono state integrate direttamente nel framework (tipo la gestione dei form) o che l'autore aveva sviluppato prima (l'astrazione dal DB), o con cui semplicemente si trovava meglio (smarty). Ne risulta un manuale che può essere utile per capire come integrare pezzi diversi (zend framework, smarty, propotype/scriptaculous, ecc.) ma d'altra parte non copre nessuno approfonditamente, e ignora l'integrazione già presente (Zend_View, Zend_Db, Dojo/jQuery, ecc.)
