For all Java developers interested in some history and a peek into the future, this is a highly recommended and insightful text. Being a Java Champion and a good writer, Mr. Evans is well placed to deliver it. It's short, and it will not teach you any technical skills, but will give you a better sense of the platform you are using and where it's headed in the wider scope of global technological advancements.

Jest to bardzo krótka historia języka Java wraz z opisami społeczności i organizacji związanych z tą technologią. Oprócz tego jest zapowiedź nowości w Java 9. Jest też wiele powtórzeń.
