Entertaining

I found d the. Look to be entertaining and fast paced. The editing was pretty good but there were a couple of places where the wire word was used. I liked most of the characters though John quirks tended to grate a little, overall would recommend the book. Looking forward to the next one.

If you read Emergence, the first of this trilogy, you are already invested in the characters, brave Navy fighter pilot, Selene Artois, Marine Derek Jamison, Fleet commander Martin Rigsby, and the Eternals, John, Ashley, Dawyn, Bridgette and Isabelle. The action is just as fast paced and addicting as the characters!

They may have survived their first battles with the Krai’kesh, but the losses were massive. Even the Eternals faced a surprise, a new bipedal type of Krai’kesh they dubbed the Comanders. If the spider/crab like enemies of the past aren’t hard enough to defeat with their void shields, the Comanders are hardier and smarter.

The enemy's shielding and weaponry far exceeds the Federations defenses, especially in number. Can they hold their own with an enemy that seems to have planet destroying technology? The battle for humanity continues!

Gripping series

I am not sure if I read far too quickly or the books are far too short. Whatever it is it keeps me wanting more. It is both exciting and keeps you wanting more of the same. I found all characters intriguing and enjoyable making reading each chapter rather exciting. Highly recommended series.

Eclipse is an excellent read, I'd recommend to all Sci Fi fans. Fast paced-action packed-with a strong human element to keep it grounded.
The plot thickens from the first book. The enemy attacking on all fronts, seemingly unstoppable in power and scope. Never mind victory, can we even survive the encounter. It'll take the best of humanity to face this challenge.
Expertly written from many viewpoints, the characters and settings had me hooked from the start. The first book was good and book two is even better. A complete all rounder, whatever you like in a book, I think you'll find it here.

What a great scifi space opera book. Story is well written and my imagination was fired up. Loved Book 2. I liked how everything was described so I could see it like a movie in my head. Full of aliens and a little humor. Shocks and twists abound among the space battles. I liked the characters and could relate. Cannot wait for the next one (a true measure of how good the book was).
