Marie Parker has known life.

Death.

Somewhere in between.

And now, with Dr. Landon Cross's help...

She'll fight with everything in her to get back to between, and a happiness that could be real......

if only she can convince Dr. Cross that she hasn't lost her mind.

A year ago, a tragic accident almost ended Marie's athletic career--and her life. Yet a flatline in one world jumpstarted her mind into another; a new reality where Marie became someone she didn't recognize, had never thought she could be. A wife. A mother. A career woman, instead of a renowned athlete. She had love. A family. A house on a half acre of land with a hyperactive dog and a finicky cat. An entire lifetime that saw her through triumph and tragedy, growth and loss, love and heartbreak, until the very end as a feeble old woman with a lifetime of memories and satisfaction.

Only to die again.

And wake up in a hospital bed, once more twenty-two years old, tubes bristling from her mouth and arms, head and heart full with memories of people who may have never existed.

But she wants them back.

She wants the love she felt. The joy. The fulfillment.

And she'll do anything to find it.

Even if it means fight Landon Cross every step of the way.

Landon isn't sure what to make of the unorthodox young woman he's recently admitted to the recovery program at the Silver Garden Clinic. Her trauma symptoms are undeniable. Her faith in her other reality, unshakeable. But Marie's stories are as compelling as Marie herself, and Landon catches himself in a dangerous folie a deux where her delusions sweep him up until he begins to believe them. Until he wants to help her get back to a place that doesn't exist. Until he's desperate to help her.

Desperate to save her.

Desperate to change every idea of what he knows is real.

And more than anything...Desperate to make her his.

This was such an interesting story and well written story. I was hooked from the description and couldn't wait to read. Marie is a soccer player who had a horrible head injury during a game. She was in a coma for a year and woke up to a reality she wasn't prepared to face. Her dream life if all she can think about. Landon knew her briefly for the accident but got closer afterwards. It's during those frank conversations about her dream life that they begin to form a connection. Although it's a short read, the plot is well developed and really draws you in. The ending was very sweet and helped Marie realized the significance of what she went through. Great read!

This very well written book has enough mystery to keep this a real page turner. Marie was in a horrible accident that forever changed her life. She was in a coma and she experienced another life with another family while in a coma. Landon was the doctor that was not sure he believed her but was fascinated by her and her story. This storyline was a exceptionally well-written concept with well-crafted characters. Would she find that love that she once had and would she find it with Landon. A must read

Landon was a doctor about to open his own clinic. Marie was a young lady who had an accident while playing sports and was left in a coma for a few years. Landon was always intrigued with her case and when she was transferred to his clinic, things became interesting and exciting between Landon and Marie. As they got to know one another, it seemed her past had experienced a strange phenomenon, betrayal was had and a future was unknown. Fun and interesting read.

Marie and woke up from a comma and did the live she lived while Sleep was real. The life she lead was a mystery to her because she could’ve remember the events before the accident. There is a doctor who is her friend and is asked to be her friend and not her doctor. It took a lot for him to supposedly resist her request. E noted to her before that she was journal worthy. The doctor is falling for her, we hope. Ethically where does that leave him? I don;t know but it was an Good. interesting story

Such an intriguing and complex book. The story of Landon and Marie was so unique that I was hooked just from the book blurb and once I started to read it I could not put it down until the end. A truly engrossing and thought-provoking book that will stay with me for a long time. So very much worth reading!

What a ride!

This is book is a ride and Landon and Marie take you to a series of possibilities that can be unheard of but could also be true. This book for me was like a retelling, I was in a coma and have TBI and I also experienced unbelievable things that changes me and this made me think of all that has happened since. It was a great look back.

Great writing make sure to read all the way through.

Fascinating read

A fascinating read. So much so that I stopped halfway through and started again from the beginning. Marie gets to live a full life, twice. It just goes to show you you never know.
