This book is about an elephant and it taking a letter to the zookeeper. This book is really good for beginning readers. There is a lot of repetition in the book that can help the children learn to read.

The elephant takes all the comments from the other animals literally when he has an envelope to deliver to the zookeeper

Good story for beginning readers to read alone, or have someone read to them. Elephant takes some of his instructions quite literally, but in the end, does himself well.
