This book is sickeningly new age-y, granted it is part of the Llewellyn's New Age Series (I wouldn't have read it if I would have known this initially). I was looking for something more instructional rather than a "knitting circle" type of book that bashes patriarchy and relays mediocre stories from middle class white women posing as anything but. Perhaps this book is better suited for Wiccans and Dianic Wiccans, which I am not. Stein presents all of the information in this book by relating it to the Chakras, or rather her interpretation of them which is superficial and in some cases inaccurate. I'd give it one star, but I think it's typical for the time period (published in 1993). When we know better, we do better.

Definitivamente outros tempos do mercado editorial...)
