I enjoyed dipping in and out of this book and quoted from it in my research paper on Italian fashion for my Italian Culture and Society class. "Italian chic, like the Italian character, is richly diverse" (Sommers 3). Indeed, many different looks are included, as looks vary according to the region, just like social customs and cultural foods. This was an easy, fun and fascinating read.
