I've just finished the "Unconventional Agent Beaufont" Complete Series boxed set. I am in awe of the outstanding ability of the author(s?) to entwine the entire Beaufont family in these series. I started this journey with Liv Beaufont. I followed Liv through her challenges that led her to her current position as a warrior for the House of Fourteen. Then I followed the exploits of her sister, Sophia, as she in true Beaufont fashion, takes the Dragon Elite and the Rogue Riders by storm. So when I realized this was actually the next generation of Beaufonts, I couldn't put the books down. If anything I've written doesn't spark your curiosity, just think, the Wizard of Oz meets Snow White! Do yourself a favour. Read the whole series from start to finish. Now I've got to search for the next series of books about Liv and Sophia's brother, Clark. I know this is going to be good. Kudos on three great series. Looking forward to what is coming next.
If you love magic, dragons, animal sidekicks, saving Love, and hijinks of all kinds, read this series. It is best if you go back and start with Liv first, then Sophia, as the side characters all make better sense when meeting them first through Liv. So, Paris is probably my favorite Beaufont. I found the beaufonts with Paris first set of books in fairy Godmother College. Then found out about the others and went to those to read. Then came back, reread her at college and read this set of books. I am going to take a break to read a few other things before I start on Rose. Sarah Noffke has become one of my top authors (aside JR Ward, and VC Andrews, to name a couple). Eventually I plan to read her other books as well, but The Beaufonts will probably remain my favorite from her.
I really enjoyed your Liv's and Sofia's series, as well as Paris's first series. But from the beginning of the Unconventional Agent Beaufont, the feel of the story was definitely off. Paris seemed to become a more jaded, less caring person who had no problem with crushing others under the heel of her boot. I stopped liking her. Also, the story situations became ridiculous. I know Ms. Sarah likes thinking out of the box, but this one is so far out of the box, it went out of the known Galaxy. Please Sarah, come back into your normal solar system sized 'out of the box' realm, and I will once again become one of your readers. Maybe you were just in a bad mood and in too much of a hurry? You are way too talented a writer to put something like this out to your fans.
I found it interesting that the only beaufont to get two series was Paris, and for good reason. The start of her journey as the agent pretty much hated by all to becoming someone far more important. No spoilers, plus all the pop culture references (the last book had bill and ted, the wizard of oz was the whole idea for a whole book, Sherlock Holmes pretty much replaced his precious Watson with Rudolf Sweetwater (and I totally ship it in a Jay and Silent Bob heterosexual life mate sort of way) and bringing in all the characters otherwise, and now moving on to the most unlikely beaufont, Rose! See you in the next beaufont review!
FGA headquarters was in a tizzy when Paris became the first female agent. Her unorthodox methods, gaining results, quelling problem after problem in the world s spinning the love meter to new heights, is the reason she ends up the boss of all. Each tale was quietly super filled with dynamic plot twists, great characters and twists. Loved this series.
For fantasy. Lovers everywhere, dragons, fantasy lovers, this series hos it all!!!
Sarah Middle and Michael did it again!!! A series of books you can't stop reading. It is a series of eight stories you will think about even when you are not reading them. Please don,'t miss out on this really great read for fantasy lovers every where.
These stories of the Beaufont family have been great! Strong and very relatable. Paris was great in her series. She got to grow and believe in herself and we got to tag along for the ride! The crazy that is Paris's life was fun in each book. Having read the others before made things make even more sense.
Ok so this series (scream) is Absolutely Amazing!! I recommend starting with the first book, get 1/4 into it and you will not be able to stop!! Page turning excitement! Characters you can completely relate to! A world where escape is beyond possible! OH thos series will never let you down.
I wasn’t sure how you were going to keep up the pace of all the preceding Beaufont sagas but you did! Still binge reading too. A bit different tone, but the characters are different people! Love Faraday! On to Rose Beaufont!
The character grew as the set continued. I cheered for Agent Beaufont to succeed at all of the challenges she was faced with. She jumped in with attitude and there were many times I had to chuckle with the situations she faced. It's a good read, I recommend it.
I am so hooked on your books , I have read this series from the beginning. Now I will start the next one. Sarah and Michael please don't stop writing. You are both Magic together!!
Only read about two chapters then removed the series from my Kindle. It seemed a little high school. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against young adult fiction. I'm a fan of Harry Potter, A Wrinkle in Time, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. But I can't stand all the high school angst. I didn't care for the the Twilight series either for the same reason.
