This is the prequel to Lyssa’s new series Sierra Cove. It is a spin-off of her other series You & Me, and I can already tell this will be just as good as that! I was hooked after page one, the characters were relatable, and I’m a sucker for an enemies-to-lovers book!

Oh my heart. I definitely need to read Shatter and soon! I need more of Tyler and Chloe! They both in their own way broke my heart and then started to put it back together again and then broke it all over again. Chloe is the only one who could tame the beast inside of Tyler, while Tyler brought out the adventurous spirit in Chloe.

I can’t wait to read Shatter and get more of this adorable couple and see how they overcome obstacles to mend their hearts and come together again.

This is a prequel that tells the story of the last couple of months of Tyler Reed and Chloe time in high school. They’ve been in school together since kindergarten and have hated each other most of that time. Tyler’s only family at home is his alcoholic father and he’s flunking out of all his courses. But their English teacher has paired them up on a history project that counts for 1/3 of the semester’s grade. Chloe’s made two failed attempts to work with him when her older brother who is friends with Tyler’s brother, calls asking her to tutor him so he can graduate. She says, “No!” Read how they get together to do the project and study for finals and fall in love!

Great Intro to the series

I really enjoyed getting to read the beginning of Tyler and Chloe's story. It was a mix of sweet, playful and heart ache.

Looking forward to reading the rest of their story.

Sweet prequel to get to know the characters. Tyler and Chloe were great together and had so much chemistry. I loved this little taste of their story and I'm excited to read the next book to see how it all turns out. I really liked both characters and the story really drew out my emotions. I had to laugh at Chloe driving a Sentra because that's what I drove in high school too! 😆
I really enjoyed this short story and would definitely recommend you check it out!
