27-year-old Olivia Waitts has been looking forward to her week vacation in the Caribbean all summer. It's the last vacation she'll have from work until next summer. All Liv wants is to get laid and enjoy her time in the sun.
44-year-old Kathleen Danvers, however, has been uncertain about her work-vacation to the Caribbean since she heard about it. Two weeks in a two-bed hotel room with three of her coworkers, could it get any worse? When she lays eyes on Liv, she knows she has to have her, every single inch of her. It's the only thing that can salvage the rest of the summer.
But Liv and Kathy live in two very different places in America, and lead opposite lives, so they decide on a no-strings policy...and find it difficult to maintain.

'No Strings For The Summer' is a sapphic age-gap romantic erotica novella featuring a 17 year age gap, a plus-size love interest, and lots of explicit sexual content. Romantic erotica is different from erotic romance in that romantic erotica has a much heavier focus on sexual content.
I'm a 28 year old erotic romance Indie Author residing in Michigan, which is also where I like to set most of my stories. I adore alternative fashion and vegging out to early 2000's pop-rock. When I'm not passionately plotting, drafting, or editing, I'm usually playing games, making covers or watching cheesy romantic dramas.

How I rate the books I read:
I'm rarely unhappy with a book and very rarely rate books under 4 stars. I'm very easy to please.
If I DNF a book due to personal preference, I will NOT rate it at all. I only rate DNF's that were not finished due to serious editing/grammatical issues and/or prejudice content.
This is how I rate things:
1 Star: I had to DNF due to serious editing and/or prejudice issues.
2 Stars: I finished the book but did not like it due to serious editing and/or prejudice issues, but it had some redeeming qualities.
3 Stars: It was a solid read, but didn't draw me in as much as I'd have preferred. OR I enjoyed the concept and story but there was serious editing issues of some kind that pulled me from enjoying it as much as I might have otherwise.
4 Stars: I really really liked the book, and would likely read again, but only after finishing up my TBR.
5 Stars: I LOVED this book and will be reading it again, probably soon. Probably already rereading it.
The majority of my ratings are 4 or 5 stars, because as stated previously, I know what I like to read and am easy to please.
A sapphic vacation romance lights up the page and speeds straight into a relationship. For those that aren't fans of U-haul-ish relationships you'll still like this book because the love scenes are plentiful and the passion steamy. An HEA that is perfectly fiction and enjoyably written. You read books to escape reality and this does a superb job of making whims come true:).
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Well, thank goodness I didn't try reading this book at work, really would have struggled to explain the need for a cold shower in the middle of the day.
Treat yourself to any easy, hot read with two likeable characters that apparently have very few inhibitions for people who have just met. Just maybe don't read it in public.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Let me start this off by saying this was an AMAZING summer read. You know who the love interest is going to be right off the bat but it doesn’t change any of the humor and build up for the romance between the two characters.
Kathy comes off as a bit, well for lack of a better word witchy which had me reeling from the start. I couldn’t wait to read more from her point of view. She was funny and sweet and definitely my favorite out of the two.
Olivia comes off as very timid but her humor and the way she responds to certain situations had me laughing out loud! Her shyness was endearing and it made situations that would have been awkward funny and relatable.
The ending was a twist that I didn’t see coming but was incredibly happy with. It was nice reading about older characters instead of reading about characters in their late teens to early twenties.
All in all of you’re looking for a sapphic summer read I can’t recommend this book enough!

This was a cute novella. You immediately know who the love interest is going to be. Kathy and Olivia are a good combination together. One is Sassy and outspoken the other timid and humorous. There is a twist at the end I was pleasantly surprised.
This is in the awkward in-between of romance and erotica, unfortunately I’m not sure it does either well.
Kathleen Danvers is the last thing the male partners at her law firm are interested in, a 44 year old lesbian. While the rest of the law firm is living things up in Europe Kathleen and the other outcasts are stuck sharing a single hotel room in the Caribbean. Kathleen is not happy, but when she crosses paths with 27 year old Olivia Waitts the prospect of some good sex might be enough to turn her vacation around. What’s supposed to be a no strings arrangement doesn’t stay that way for long.
I appreciated that this wasn’t a love at first sight story. Instead, their first meeting involves some conflict which feels more realistic for a story that you know will move quickly, after all they aren’t on vacation for that long. With novellas like this it can be hard to resolve the non-relationship conflict but this manages to do it better than most. However, there was one plot point that I don’t think was properly addressed and it felt out of place to me. I’m a fan of character driven stories and I didn’t feel like I had an understanding of Olivia's motivations. This was the biggest deal breaker for me.
Our heroines have very different expectations for this trip, but neither of them expected what happens when they meet. And neither of them knows how to deal with it when things get more serious than they planned.
This is a short erotic romance of the FF sort. The story is well written and easy to read with a couple of delightful characters. I really enjoyed the chemistry between them, the lack of drama and the steam. Put it all together and it made for a very relaxing evening read.
Highly recommended.

This story follows Olivia and Kathleen, who meet on their separate vacations to the Caribbean. What started as a one-night stand, turned no strings attached fling, to something more. This short story was steamy and sweet. A quick read for those that want a spicy romance.
Look at the cover and read the title and the subtitle and you know everything you need to know: A sapphic age-gap summer romantic erotic novella showing a blonde woman in a bikini in a swimming pool. This quick read is full of heat, from solo scenes to facesitting on the beach to mutual toy play, and the relationship gives you just enough emotional heft to make the smut mean something. You can read it in an evening or two, and if you like what the cover promises, you won't be disappointed.
Please do read the content warnings, as always--there's a moment that made me uncomfortable, but since I'd read the warnings, I was prepared, and it was handled well and sorted quickly. Well done by the author.
