This is a slim volume, but the pages are quite big with large, tantalizing photographs of the dishes.
This was one of my first cookbooks and was referenced frequently when I was just starting to explore cooking. Then, for whatever reason, it lay dormant for years. But when I decided to raid my cookbook collection to select a few books to bring back to Slovakia, this one was at the top of the pile. The fun part has been seeing all the recipes I never tried all those years ago and being tempted to try them now.
Now... to find a cookable pumpkin in Slovakia for that pumpkin & pistachio risotto...
