If you ask chat GPT to write a book on data analytics, I think you would get something like this. The first chapter reads like a drip email campaign about why you should sign up for a series of web classes from an instructor who has yet to make their credentials known.

The book is clearly addressed to someone looking to change their career and who has no experience in working with data. However, rather than starting with engaging anecdotes or foundational concepts, The book sounds like an email that would send someone scrambling for an unsubscribe button.

I was previewing this to see whether the contact would be good for my marketing team. It’s not. It’s rudimentary, not engaging, and skims the surface.

This book is precisely what the title says. I am not an expert at data literacy and learned a lot from this book. I also read "How To Win With Your Data Visualizations," written by the same author, and liked them. If you are interested in data analytics, this book is for you. The author even discusses job descriptions and average pay.
