This is part of the Forbidden Temptations Series but can be read as a standalone. You'll love Brandy and Tristan's story. It grabbed my attention right at the beginning and I lost a little sleep finishing it. She had commitment issues because of her mother's abandoment and she refused her boyfriend's proposal. She can't keep her eyes off her hot new boss. He was older, a millionaire and an ex marine pilot with PTSD issues. He wants to take over the family hotel empire but must prove to his mother that he has settled down from his playboy and party ways. Hia solution a fake marriage with Brandy. What happens when she starts having feelings for him? What happens when they become intimate with each other? What happens when feelings start developing? What happens when she finds out she's pregnant with twins? Do they have a happy ending? On a happy note there's NO cliffhanger. This was a cute story that was well written and a fun read. The characters are likable. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

She had a calming influence on him & his ptsd soon dimiinished. They are just friends, albeit they are both fighting an undeniable attraction to one another until they can't resist any longer. This was a good read. Brandy works for Tristan. He needs a wife so she agrees to be his. Of course they end up falling in love for real. Thankfully in the end everything works out and they get their happy ending.

What a page turner!!!! I could not stop reading it. It was well balanced with the main characters falling in love while the both dealt with demons. And what happened towards the end had me blindsided. This is what a good book should look like!.

Brandy’s ex proposes to her and she freaks, ending their long relationship. She knows she needs, a change. The place she needs to be is, with her family. Running scared she goes to, Ian, her dad, he did raise her as, a single dad. As well as, his new wife, her college best friend, Maxie, and her little brother, Eli.
While she is staying with them she applies for a wedding planner position at a five-star hotel. She gets to stay before, and after the interview which she aces. It might have something to do with the man, who saved her from falling over her feet a second time, in one day. The sexy older man happens, to be Tristan, the owner of the hotel, and a well-known playboy.
She did find it odd that he sat in on her interview, but when she got the job she put it behind her. All to get the wheels turning on her move out, and then her move into a new place. She had, during her three days stay, gotten acquainted with her now new assistant, who showed her the computer system.
Brandy stayed late the very first night. She needs to get the wheels turning for a friend's wedding that almost had to be canceled. But the pressure is on because her family is also friends with her boss's family. No pressure, right? Joining her at the bar where she is having some wine and sending emails is, Tristan.
One thing leads to another, and an idea forms because you see, Tristan has some major life changes to make. The more he talks with her, the more he feels, that Brandy may be the woman to help. He also notices, that his stress seems to ease around her, also.
I enjoyed this book. The characters were noteworthy and had personalities. I liked how they handle the issue concerning, Ross. I hope he can find his happiness.

Our past shape us for our future especially the actions of our parents and no matter how hard we try we can’t walk away from our past or our parent’s actions were, so we learn to make our own way after a lot of falling and getting back up. Brandy is smart extremely strong but has issues to work through working as an event planner, she isn’t happy with her life knows she needs to change it started with her turning down her boyfriend’s proposal one because he wasn’t right for her and two because of her abandonment issues. Tristan sexy as all get out retired Marine pilot, issues with PTSD dealing as best he can, a billionaire playboy and working as a director at one of his family’s hotels waiting to be CEO once his mother decides to retire (all his mother wants is for him to settle down and be happy). Brandy is hired as the event planner for the hotel the moment they meet the chemistry is instant, a little intense but she is a little hesitant considering she is the event planner. But once Tristan sets his mind to something well he goes after it and he knows it will bring him mom one happy camper and he convinces her to agree to a fake marriage, that magnetic pull between them couldn’t be ignored so giving in to something so amazing leaves her with a surprise on the way, a happy mother but with it all being a fake marriage how will his mother feel, how will they deal with something that started out being fake turn so real, now that it is real will they make it real, and will two people who needed a HEA get it?.

This is a great addition to the Forbidden Temptations Series about Tristan and Brandy. Tristan is a playboy and 10 years ago his mother the CEO of their family Hotel business tells him to change his life style or the family fortune will be donated. Tristan served in the Marines who was honorably discharged and years later happily working for the family business making his own way with only 6 months left to show his mother he’s the one to run the family business. Brandy drops her college boyfriend, heads home to regroup and ends up with a job interview. On her way she runs right into Tristan and older handsome man who hand delivers her to the interview. These two hit it off but keep if professional and one night they have a very interesting conversation that gets Tristan’s thoughts going on a plan to get the CEO job. Brandy’s mother left her as a child, never returning giving her commitment issues. Tristan comes up with a plan that Brandy agrees to and they become more than the deal real quickly. I love the relationship they develop and how her treats Brandy allowing her to fall in love with him and ends up pregnant with twins! How these two discover what’s most important, love and happiness helps them to discover a beautiful life together. This is my first book read by Sofia Summers and it was great! Tristan runs the hotel department of his family's empire but when his mom retires he wants to be CEO of the whole thing. His mother is reluctant to name him successor because she thinks it will look better if Tristan has a family, to keep with the public perspective of them being a family business. Brandy wants to move closer to her dad, step-mom (who is her best friend, can't wait to go back and read that book!) and of course her little brother after a break-up. She needs to find a job as an event coordinator so she applies at Tristan's hotel. She gets the job and after a couple talks with Brandy, Tristan makes her a proposal to marry him so he can get the CEO position and after the divorce he'll give her $500,000. So they do this thing and of course they fall in love. With a surprise in the end that wraps up their HEA. By the way loved Tristan's niece Felicity, she's the cutest kid I've read in a book for a while now! I loved this book and the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I thought the prologue and the bit with Brandy's mom could have been left out.

This story was amazing! Brandy, event coordinator needing a fresh start. She turns down a proposal and decides to leave for a new town. She applies for a new job and goes in for an interview. She runs into a gorgeous man(literally). Tristan, veteran and hotel manager.
Claudia Holloway is about to retire and needs to name a successor. It is assumed it will be one of her sons, but not without an ultimatum! Tristan knows he’s running out of time, so he has a “proposal” for Brandy!
For better or worse, these two just fit perfectly together. Although it’s a fake marriage, are they developing feelings for one another? As they get to know one another, spend time together they become closer.
As a veteran, he has his anxiety and nightmares, but one thing is always constant that helps him, Brandy! It’s something about her that calms him and makes him feel better.
When Brandy finds out she’s pregnant, a lot is going through her mind…but when it’s time to tell him, she’s confused and decides to leave to take a breather. What comes after that is frightening for everyone. I recommend this story. It’s an HEA guaranteed.

My Millionaire Marine: A Fake Marriage Surprise Twins Romance is part of the Forbidden Temptations series but all can be read as stand alone books. This is Brandy and Tristan's story told by them in alternating chapters. It was sometimes sweet and other times hotter than hot but throughout it all they were good for each other. They had immediate chemistry when they first meet but since she's going to work in his family's business they can't do anything about it, or can they?
I liked how their friendship bloomed before they became more. They both have secrets and some demons that therapy has helped them with and their relationship is strengthened due to the trust they have in each other. The story has a nice flow and there's a depth to the characters. There is good closure along with a nicely portrayed happily ever after. I liked both the epilogue and the extended epilogue which is eighteen months after the story ends and gives a hint of what's to come. It was strange to see Brandy's last name is Weiss, the same as mine.
Ms. Summers is an author whose books I enjoy even when they take me out of my comfort level. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Brandy and Tristan each have their own reason for not wanting any commitment. Brandy just turned down a marriage proposal from her boyfriend and wants a fresh start. She finds the town near her father’s home and this fancy hotel that she really likes. Going to the hotel for her interview, she literally stumbled into Tristan, the hotel director and former Marine pilot. They both feel the sparks between them. Tristan’s mother is the CEO of the hotel. She told the family 6 years ago that she will announce her successor at the end of 6 years. Now that there is only 6 months left, Tristan has worked hard for the hotel, but has nothing to show in his personal life. Now he really wants to be the CEO. Tristan convinces Brandy that she is doing him a favor by fake marrying him. In the meantime, she gets to spend his money and no marriage responsibilities. These 2 think they can do this fake marriage and stick to their “no commitment” principle. Nothing can be further from what they plan. As they get to know each other, the original sparks develop into full blown attachment and deeper feelings that they have not expected. Great story. Sweet and slow burn. The beautiful events and wonderful food in the hotel business are icing on the cake.

Tristan is hoping to become CEO of the family hotel business, but he has to prove to his CEO mother that he has settled down now and is ready to take over. To strengthen his chances, he comes up with a plan to ask the new event manager to fake a marriage to him. Brandy has her own issues, but this seems like something she can handle.
As they go through the motions of their fake marriage, things start becoming real. She calms down his PTSD symptoms. But when Brandy discovers she is pregnant, will her first instinct be to run? And why can’t anyone find her? With her phone found near a dumpster with the screen cracked, and no one having heard from her, did something bad happen?
The one thing that just felt wrong to me is Tristan’s wanting to “prove” his maturity to his mother by lying to her and faking a marriage. That is not a solid, trustworthy foundation to demonstrate the honesty and maturity of a hopeful CEO.

My Millionaire Marine. This book had me intrigued. I loved the characters and the storyline. Brandy had been proposed to by her boyfriend but she couldn't go through with it because the issues she lives with. Her mom walked out on her and her dad when she was young and she feels she may do the same. She runs away to another city and gets a job at a hotel as an event planner. She stumbles into the son of the hotel owner and starts up a great friendship. Tristan is an ex-marine working for his mother at the hotel after being discharged from the marines. He deals with issues from war and is a playboy and his mother is fed up with his behavior. His mom gives him an ultimate decision, get married soon or you will be disinherited. So he gets the smart idea to fake marry Brandy so he can get his inheritance. Brandy accepts and the fun begins. Things do get a little strange and drama sets in on them. My Millionaire Marine is the sixteenth book in the Forbidden Temptations series and this time the temptation is more than our h, Brandy, can handle, after all it comes in a talk, rich and super sexy man named Tristan. This man is walking "sex on a stick" that you just want to lick all over until he dissolves. For Tristan Brandy is the one and he is about to go about getting her in a very different way...one fake marriage and a lot of sparks later and things only get more complicated between these two.
I really enjoyed this well written book as it has a great story and wonderful characters. I loved Brandy as she is trying to make her own way in life and has moved across the country to do it. What she ended up with though was one beautifully complicated situation that gives her a future she never dreamed of.

The chemistry between Brandy and Tristan from their first interaction was combustible, but is only heated up more when they embarked on their fake marriage arrangement. They were meant to be pretending, but their will power didn’t allow them to keep their relationship platonic. Unfortunately, just as they about to acknowledge their feelings for each other, Brandy makes a discovery that brings up the pain from her past and nearly costs her the forever happiness she craved.
This is a well written, emotionally challenging and very entertaining story. The storyline grab my attention from the beginning and the characters made the story come alive. It was a worthwhile read, that I would be happy to recommend to any book lover.

Brandy walks away from a marriage proposal because it didn't feel right. She packed up her life and moved to take a new job at a hotel. She would be working as an event coordinator. Tristan is the son of the owner of the hotel, and he lives in the resident part of the hotel. Sparks fly between him and Brandy and one evening they bond over dinner, and he knows that she is the one he wants to help him with his next phase of his life. They end up getting married, but it wasn't a love match. However, it doesn't take long for things to get very real between them. Can they stay together with how they started?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Love is perfectly imperfect!
This is a story about two wounded people who helped heal each other. I particularly enjoyed that both were equal partners in their relationship irrespective of the details of money, status, family issues, past relationships, etc. The details provided context for the issues Brandy and Tristan each had to resolve. Other interesting features were the references to other books of the series, some of which I haven’t read yet. I also wonder if Ross, Beau, and Jason have their own stories. What about Amber and the reference to her struggles? Just thoughts and musings for other books to read if they appear in the series …….
Editing was good. I noticed a couple errors in passing, but didn’t remember them when I got to the next paragraph. Once started, I couldn’t accomplish anything until I finished the story.
Highly recommended.
This is a story about two wounded people who helped heal each other. I particularly enjoyed that both were equal partners in their relationship irrespective of the details of money, status, family issues, past relationships, etc. The details provided context for the issues Brandy and Tristan each had to resolve. Other interesting features were the references to other books of the series, some of which I haven’t read yet. I also wonder if Ross, Beau, and Jason have their own stories. What about Amber and the reference to her struggles? Just thoughts and musings for other books to read if they appear in the series …….
Editing was good. I noticed a couple errors in passing, but didn’t remember them when I got to the next paragraph. Once started, I couldn’t accomplish anything until I finished the story.

Tristan, retired Marine helicopter pilot, fights PTSD, director of one of the family owned hotels, playboy, millionaire and wants to be named CEO when his Mother retires.
Brandy becomes the event planner at Tristan's hotel. Vibes flow between them. Tristan needs to show his Mother that he's settled down. They elope, planning on a couple years of marriage before going their separate ways.
This is a well written, emotional, page turner with twists and turns. This is Brandy and Tristan's story.

Brandy decides she wants a new start after breaking it off with her boyfriend who just proposed. Seeking out for a new job she finally finds the perfect one at Holloway hotels. When she bumps into Tristan who just happens to the hotel manager. Tristan is looking to take the reins of the family business but there of course stipulations to that. His mother wants him to settle down and prove he can handle things. So, he decides to ask Brandy to be his fake fiancé. These two hit it off good and as time goes on, they get to know one another. What will happen when she finds out she is pregnant?
Sofia did a great job with this storyline and I enjoyed it a lot.

Omg another great read by Sofia, she writes the best, most addictive page turners. This read was great, was very well written, the characters were great. Brandy believed that married life wasn't for her, and when her boyfriend Leo wants marriage etc she says no and decides to move near her family and start over. Her new boss Tristan, who is older than her believes the same and doesnt think married life is for him. Only to run the family business his mum wants him to grow up etc. So he asks Brandy to fake marry him, only things never run smoothly and there's always surprises along the way. Great book full all round read. Highly recommend.

This is part of the forbidden temptation series and can be read as a standalone. This is a wonderful read that I recommend it has a great storyline that I love with wonderful characters that have amazing chemistry. It’s Tristan and Brandy story where she gets a job at his hotel as an event planner. He’s an ex marine millionaire and wants to take over the family hotel empire so he planned so fake marriage with Brandy as a solution. It’s a well written cute story with likable characters in a great story line.

The newest book in the Forbidden Temptations series features Brandy and Tristan's story. Tristan is an ex-marine slated to take over as CEO from his mother, Brandy is an event planner with some commitment issues. There's some obvious attraction when they meet although Brandy doesn't want to cross the boss-employee boundaries.
Looking to make his mom happy Tristan proposes a fake relationship and Brandy agrees thinking she'll be able to resist his charms. Even though readers know things will turn all too real the story doesn't feel stale.

It's a good romance between Tristan and Brandy partially simple, but fascinating by these characters who have an improbable agreement: to get married so as not to have to suffer the problems of marriage and for Tristan, in addition, to be able to take over from his mother in the business. I enjoyed reading about their inner struggle to try to move forward in this relationship, while dealing with their personal wounds. Note, beyond the sometimes torrid romance, there’s a touch of action during a twist in the second part

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Tristan is running out of time for his shot at the company. Brandy needed a change in her life and winds up working for his family's business. These two have their own issues they are dealing with. Family is an issue but for different reasons. Tristan suggests a fake relationship and marriage and she agrees. He and Brandy had no idea how real things would become. I liked the characters and how they interacted. The storyline was well done with the working, fake and real relationship they had.

Brandys boyfriend just proposed to her but she said no and moved to another city and got her dream job as a event manager. The chemistry between the boss Tristan an her is strong. They both are not interested in weddings and children and when Tristan needs a fake wife she is the right one to ask. But what started fake is suddenly not fake anymore. Will they both get there dreams come true and will there be a happy ending? A fantastic romantic story filled with passion and drama I loved every single minute of it
