Entertaining relationships listening 🎶🎵

This kindle e-book novella is from my Kindle Unlimited account book 2 of 6.

Kelly, Emily, and Tom are putting together a plan to buy the restaurant where Kelly and Tom had worked. Kelly also has been going on dates. The plan has come together. Continued in book 3.

I would recommend this series and others by Sage Parker to readers of romantic family and friends relationship adventure mystery novels. 2024 👒🎎🤗🤔

Book Two of this series continues the story of Kelly as she is transitioning into a career. When her part time job ends with the closure of the restaurant where she worked, Kelly comes up with a plan to open a high dining restaurant with Thomas and Emily as partners. Additionally, her friend Lou from California agrees to be an investor in the business and Fiona, who owned the town’s bookstore, is serving as a business adviser to help with the bank loan and management of her new adventure. Jake continues to be interested in her but secrets are revealed about his past relationship with Thomas. This book was a great addition to the series.

One thing this author is good at is suddenly stopping the book at a point where you certainly don’t want it to stop. She’s got a great knack for cliffhangers. It’s a good thing you don’t have to wait long for the next book. The series is very good and I really enjoy the characters. We get to see a little more of them in each book. Kelly is still dealing with the divorce and getting used to being by herself and not really over the divorce. In the meantime, she’s got two men who obviously like her very much, and they aren’t friends that’s for sure. Bad blood between them. I really look forward to the next book to continue the journey with Kelly.

Kelly is trying to start over after her divorce but 2 weeks on her part time job and it’s announced that the restaurant is closing. Kelly comes up with a plan and with Emily and Thomas as partners they come up with an idea with potential. Kelly has been dating Jake, but she doesn’t understand the issue between Jake and Thomas until Jake takes Kelly out on a yacht for dinner. Now she knows the truth what will she do? How will they come up with enough money to buy the restaurant? The story just keeps developing, can’t wait for the next one. I received a free ARC copy for my honest and voluntary review.

Kelly is growing stronger since her divorce, but she is thrown for a loop when the local restaurant she is working at decides to close up. Kelly and a few friends decide to look into starting a fancier restaurant so the funding search is on. Secrets about Thomas and Jake and their hatred for each other comes out a bit. The characters have great depth and strength. The storyline has so much going for it, with drama, danger, surprises, great banter and a little romance. Could not put this book down and will be patiently waiting for the next section of the story.

Book two is as good as book one but with more questions and frustrations added. Can't wait to see what Jake is really up to in his pursuit of Kelly and learn what the real story is behind his and Thomas's dislike. Although some of the dislike was revealed, I believe there is more...Would love to read more about Kelly's ex Mike and why he treated her the way he did and if it had anything to do with Kelly's sister.....With so many unanswered questions, the series has me going, hmm....

The new and improved Kelly
She’s doing a really good job of adjusting to her new status as single (won’t use the d word). When she finds out that the local restaurant is closing she gathers together with Emily and Thomas resulting in a terrific idea. She finds out what the deal is between Thomas and Jake only to be unsure as to what to do. Anxious to find out how they come up with the money and what else will happen next.

A perfect beachy read or sitting by the pool read. It's well written, flows smoothly from page to page and captivates your attention. The characters are well developed, easy to get to know and realistic.

You'll want to read the previous book in the series prior to reading this one as each book is a segment of the story.

What a great series! Well crafted. Part 2. Worth 5 stars but for the cliffhanger ending. Really like development of main characters. Kelly being wooed by rich boy Jake, enmity between Jake and Emily’s brother Tom - what caused this? Is Jake as wonderful as he seems? Exciting plans to start a restaurant mooted… people coming together, exciting prospects… Lots of mysteries slowly unfolding. Hurry book 3!

This is the second book and it was very interesting. We get answers in this book on how Kelly is putting things together. More answers about Jake and Tom why there is bad blood there. This was a great read and I am looking forward to reading the next book to see how everything plays out.

Good storyline though it's different

This series seems different from the others I read by this author. I like it but miss the mystery part!
