When you think you've see it all when it comes to isekai manga ...

so short

Loved the light novels, and the manga looks to be just as good, but I wasn’t expecting this to cut off at the point Lammis takes Boxxo from the lake… It makes sense. I just kind of wanted more of this adorable series.

For the record, this book was 235 pages not 57.

Last year I read The Infant Vending Machine so it only made sense to read this one this year and continue the theme.

A man is crushed to death by a vending machine and becomes… a vending machine.

Flash forward into a weird place where hunters fight frog fiends and ward off thieves.

I liked the concept of man becoming a vending machine and that the vending machine could change items depending on the situation but the story wasn’t for me. Creepy insinuations about young girls (or were they, no ages given) it felt a bit borderline paedo. It says for Ages 13+ but I feel it’s too low.

Obviously I’m not a Manga fan so for those who are, it may well be a good read.

I never thought I'd enjoy a book about a vending machine, but "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon #1" completely exceeded my expectations. The concept may sound bizarre, but the execution is flawless. The vending machine protagonist is surprisingly endearing, and I found myself rooting for him throughout the book.

The world-building is excellent, and I loved the idea of the dungeon and the various monsters that inhabit it. The pacing is spot-on, with a perfect balance of action, humor, and heart. The art is also fantastic, with detailed illustrations that bring the story to life.

Overall, "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon #1" is a delightfully unique take on the isekai genre. It's funny, heartwarming, and action-packed, all at the same time. I can't wait to see where the story goes next. Highly recommended!
