Changed my outlook on consciousness and defined it as a phenomenon that can be understood and studied.

This book is cutting-edge on so many levels, helping pave the way for Neuroscience. However, it is accessible and useful to both specialized readers with a scientific background, as well as the layperson looking to dig deeper into one of life's former great mysteries.
