Arabella is far from a good girl, but when her last mistake take an ugly turn she is forced to go to Black Mountain to live with her aunt and to finish school. It's not what she want but maybe a new start is what she need to be better.
One history lesson it's what it takes to prove her wrong.
Elian Donati, her history teacher, is handsome, dark, sinful, dominant, forbidden, yet she can't help but crave his attention, his touch....
However Elian has many secrets, dangerous ones and Arabella is playing a game she doesn't know the rules of.
And when all those secrets gonna be spilled she won't be the only one with a broken heart...
This story drove me literaly crazy !!
I never be so confused and intrigued by a book.
The story is intricate and only towards the end all the knots gonna come to a head.
It's not simply an age-gap/ forbidden romance, 'cause darkness and suspense fill each page.
So you can only read, and read until you finally understand everything.
The chemestry between Elian and Arabella is deep yet the romance is pretty much a slow burn thanks to Elian's love to keep her (and us) on the edge. The sexual tension gonna kill you together with Elian's filthy mouth 😈
Obviously i loved Elian: so bossy and arrogant, and dangerous; he is the perfect bad guy you should really stay away from 😏
The only thing that "bother" me is the fact that toward the end some moments seem to be rushed a bit.
That's why i didn't give five stars, but in general it's another great book from an incredibly author.

nah this book was fucked up. at first i didn’t like it because it felt unrealistic considering it was 5 chapters in and he was already saying he was interested in her but as the story went on it got better. i don’t really like teacher/student relationship books but this one was good. plus the smut was immaculate. but at the same time i’m not convinced by the romance? like there’s a point where someone asks if he (the love interest) loves her and he responds with how much he likes having sex with her?? she also forgave him way too fast for what he did and he didn’t grovel enough or at all really. this book has a lot of flaws but it was still really good.

“Deviant” is a standalone romance by the best selling author Dani Rene under the Black Mountain academy series. Told in dual perspectives , from the characters to the plotline , everything was perfect about this book!
God , I am so obsessed with this Back Mountain Academy series , It is not even funny!! This book was another masterpiece of this series and I absolutely Loved the hell out of it.
Arabella Just had her whole life uprooted and has just moved to a new city with a new identity. She wants to start fresh but her past catches up with her here too. That is until she catches the eye of the new teacher at her school. Elias is as hot as he is forbidden, Wanting a student is angaint the school , but that doesn't stop him. Arabella is going to be his no matter what he has to do for that.
Arabella tries to stay away from her teacher but that doesn't last for long. Soon she is giving in into his deviant games and is shocked to find that she likes it too. Elias is not a normal man , He has kinks and Tastes that now Arabella has to satisfy and He is shocked to see that his little innocent student enjoys his tastes of depravity. What she doesn't know is his secrets. She thinks she is safe herre. Thinks that nobody knows about her past and she is free from other people , but what she didn’t realise was that her biggest enemy has been infront of her the whole time. And now it is time for her to pay for her sins.
This book was another masterpiece in this series and I absolutely loved the plotline of this story! The way the author gave us that twist at the end had me hungry for so much more and I really really want the stories of the other characters! Elias and Arabella were perfect for each other and this book is a definite recommendation to all the dark romance lovers out there! If you are into bully romance along with student teacher themes in the mix then this book is something that you can’t miss at any cost.

What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible)

Oh, man. What did I just read! I went in having semi-read the blurb. I was so fascinated by the beautiful cover. Arabella is relatable, fun, and unapologetic. I like her feisty nature. She's goals. She doesn't shy away from admitting what she likes - even when lots of people would shame her.
Teach or Elian is intriguing. He's hot. He's cold. And he's got a job that forbids him certain pleasures. Both of our leads are drenched in mystery. What are they hiding? What is going on? Who will win this war? Arabella is a beast, but Elian knows just how to handle her. I was left speechless plenty of times. I definitely wouldn't say no to more Ahren if that's on the table, Dani!! I need to see him in his element LOL. The presented characters had immense chemistry. For a couple of hours, I was transported into their world of lust, trauma, mystery, and revenge. This is a sneaky and dangerous little story that I enjoyed thoroughly. Holy twists!
I recommend this story to lovers of teacher student, the forbidden, the twisted, and intense drama.

At first I don't have any inkling how the story will take off. Multiple POV arcs, I appreciate the build-up and the reversal facet that was thrown into the story, yet, when everything comes concurrently it felt anticlimactic and lackluster, and I just didn't care for it.

Deviant was such an intense and fabulous story. This dark, forbidden and taboo tale takes the reader on a voyage of lies, deceit, and so many secrets that the subplots are just as enticing as the main characters interactions.

I am so disappointed.
I was so looking forward to reading this book and it turns out to be something completely different than I had in mind. I didn't even finish this book. It started off all jumbled, and the past/present was just confusing. It didn't make sense. Then you get to chapter 7ish and the hero's foster brother kisses the main girl who admits to also liking him and then he admits to doing threesomes with him? I don't get it. Not my cup of tea.

What an amazing read! Elian and Arabella, two broken souls, that think they will never find happiness, both a bit lost in life. This story captured my attention in the first chapter, and I couldn't put it down until I was completely done. It has everything a reader wants in a book, a dark suspenseful, a tad taboo (but not over the top) and some seriously steamy scenes. One of the best from Dani Rene so far.

Superficially, you may think this was a typical Student-teacher Romance but this was a ride full of twists and turns. An emotional roller coaster with a storyline full of action-packed suspense...
literally, I had chills in the end...I DID NOT see that coming...
The chemistry between them was palpable...when they were in the same room, the sexual tension can be cut with a butter knife...and the angst of the push-pull relationship just adds so much to the story...The best thing I love was it was so much more than a typical taboo because it real interesting story going on.

I was so excited for this book and now I'm a little dissapointed. I don't say that is was bad but I expected something else. For a teacher/student book, it didn't gave me that feeling of forbidden, that struggle of the characters to try to hide their realationship.
I was a little confused at the begining, I didn't know where the story was heading. There were moments where I thought that we going to get a love triangle (I hate those) and even it were moments when I thought that the characters are going to be involved in a threesome.
The hero even if I don't think that is very acurate to call it like that since it has some villain vibes, was acting so annoying, for a man who is thirty years old, even his twenty-three year old brother was more mature than he.
The heroine was a brat at last that was what I thought at the begining but I started to like her. She was struggling with some mistakes that she did in the past and some dark memories. She was vulnerable and I think that the hero took advantage of her vulnerabili. I understand why he did it thought, even if I didn't liked him, I understand his anger and why he started a realationship with her. I understand too why she let him to treat her the way he did. She was broken and confused.
Even if I had some issues with this book, I was very intrigued as well and in the end when everything started to make sense, it was just a very unexpected twist. I really liked that it maneged to surprise me even if the ending was a little rushed but I ended up a little confused tho,

Well... This book was what I needed. Just PERFECT for me and for my DEVIANT mind.
I love everything taboo and age gap, teacher romance, forbidden romance and that's it.
My fantasy came true, literally. I wish it came true in my real life too.
Arabella's life has been turned upside down by her family. She is forced to leave away to Black Mountain Academy to escape her darkness and start a new life, after all the bad things that she has done. Only you can't escape the darkness.
Elian is the history teacher at Black Mountain Academy. He is hot, arrogant, Sinful, dominant, dark, everything forbidden and full of dangerous secrets.
This story was so CAPTIVATING and so ADDICTIVE. I couldn't put it down, I couldn't stop reading it.

There is nothing I have read from Dani that I have not loved and devoured right away. Deviant is the same. I fell in love with this story from start to finish. Dani wraps us up in a story of twists and turns, a little bit of darkness, and steam of love that comes out of Elian and Arabella that both fight with every breath they make.
I will say that Arabella for everything that she has been through I did not expect her to be as fun and mouthy as she was to Elian. These two are perfect for each other. Elian is a no-nonsense kind of guy and takes everything very seriously. When he decides to have a relationship with Arabella she doesn't make anything easy for him.
Deviant is a book I will reread over and over again. Loved this story!

Her mother does not care for her' her father is dead but no one tells her what happened to him and she has to choose – jail or school….
Elian is a man on a mission – his father was murdered and he wants revenge – he has been planning this for years and he will stop at nothing
So why does a dominant rich man like him leave everything and goes to reach History at a High school academy at a remote and boring town?
What happened in the past that connects them? Why is he drawn to her so much? And what ids his hidden agenda?
Arabella wants the forbidden fruit. She wants to break the rules and she wants to obey him because the fire between them is burning!

Deviant by Dani Rene is set in the Black Mountain Academy world and let me tell you, where's my letter of invitation? Where can I apply to attend? Because this story was EPIC!
Arabella is quite the character! Young and impressionable, yet simultaneously wise and experienced beyond her years. A fascinating dichotomy that really drew me in, wanting to know more about her, what made her tick, what captivated her. And like her, I was absolutely mesmerized by a certain teacher's icy stare.
Elian Donati can teach me anything he thinks I need to know and more, I'll be the star pupil, I promise! Goodness gracious but he is a complicated man with a lot of layers and he sounds incredibly attractive and irresistible to me! I am fascinated, just like Arabella, hungry for morsels of information.
This story is intense, a rollercoaster ride of a journey, obstacles and twists and turns keeping you on your toes as you navigate murky waters and incredibly combustible chemistry. Arabella and Elian are shmekshay as all get out, and you'll definitely be wanting a nice tall glass of ice water to help you out after certain moments!
If you're looking for a story that will mentally keep you on your toes, emotionally entangle you in the characters, with sexual tension that'll leave guy squirming, look no further than Deviant! History class will never be the same!

Deviant : Black Mountain Academy by Dani Rene. Arabella has grown up in the public life. Her father is a senator and her mother is an uncaring narcissistic woman who only cares about herself. Rebellion has been something she did but all she ever wanted was to be loved. Now her father is dead and she has no choice but to be shipped off to her aunt and Black Mountain Academy. Arabella has decided to take this chance to get her life together. What she didn't expect was to walk into History class and see her teacher Mr. Elian Donati. Elian is dark, brooding, built for sin and sexy to boot. He has never been interested in a student but there is something about Arabella. Not only is he a hot dish, his step brother Ahren is sexy too. The sexual tension was thick enough to cut with a knife. This was a story of not only forbidden attraction but lies, secrets and deceit. I liked the story unfortunately the way in which it was told didn't sit well with me. I was in a state of confusion as to who all the players were until close to the end. Once all the players were known and secrets spilled, I found myself liking the story more. Arabella and Elian were most definitely hot, sexy and very kinky. 3.5 stars for me.

The moment I first started reading this story I was instantly hooked. I have loved every book in this series so far and this book was another great addition. The forbidden relationship between these two made this an incredibly enjoyable read.
Arabella has had her whole life uprooted and she is trying to come to terms with her new life.
Elian knew what he wanted and did what he had to in order to get it. I really enjoyed the mysterious persona he gave of within the story.
This story wa full of forbidden temptation mixed in with strong chemistry between the two main characters. This was a gripping story that I really loved reading and cannot wait to read the next book in this multi author series.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Deviant by Dani Rene was a steamy teacher/student book that left me wanting more once I finished! It may first seem as any other teacher/student forbidden love story but the whole purpose of why Elian persuaded Arabella left me in shock for a short while. I usually can tell what’s going to be biggest plot twist while reading a book, but I can guarantee everyone who reads this will be in for a treat. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves this forbidden genre.

Deviant by Dani Rene is part of the Black Mountain Academy series that includes stories from all different authors. So far, the stories I have read in this series have been amazing. Deviant included. Unique. Addicting. Intense. &was just a complete mindf*ck…but in the best of ways.
So far, I have noticed that these stories within this series have all come with a bit of a forbidden and dark tone, and it completely meets my fancy. Dani Rene takes you on a ride with Deviant, and Mr. Donati. Mystery, suspense, and wonder on each and every page.
You won’t know what to expect, and it has been a long time since I have felt that way. It was a wonderfully thrilling read, with intense angsty moments, and both characters that meet the meaning of Deviant.
I don’t want to give too much away. Normally in my reviews I give a small, spoiler free summary…but, I am going on a bit of a different route with this one, because I think going in basically blind, is the best way you are going to experience Arabella & Elian Donati’s story. Is it forbidden? You will have to see for yourself!

I've found my newest favorite bbf. It is Elian Donati. If I had him as my history teacher I would have had and A+++. His dirty talk and dominating personality had me blushing everywhere while reading. Ok so now that I got that out of the way let me talk about the story itself. It was not just the panty-melting scenes that kept me turning the pages. The way the author also kept me wanting to know more about Arabella. She wasn't just another "broken" romance heroine. She was strong, resilient and also I will admit gave me a girl crush. I loved the push and pull between Elian and Arabella. They are a perfect match and let's not forget about Ahren. He was not just another character to be forgotten about. He made sure he would remembered when Elian's and Arabella's story was over and I am ready for more of him.

I devoured this book, from the first chapter I was pulled in and wanted to know everything about both Elian and Arabella and their background stories. I felt an instant connection to both of these characters and it only intensified the further I got into the book. We’re given a story that is filled with suspense, romance and a bit of frowned upon actions in some eyes. The little tidbits in between the chapters had my mind going wild, I had no idea where things were heading and I loved being kept on my toes. Phenomenal read and I hope there’s another spinoff story in the future with Elian’s brother, I feel there’s a lot more to that man then was shared with us now.

Oh yea I just finished reading this book and Dani rock this book . I truly enjoyed the story plot. The connection between the characters will leave you wanting more. This book is steamy with a good plot to read. I am not going to spoil anything check out this book .

Elian and Arabellas story was a addicting teacher/student. Arabella is sent to Black Mountain Academy as a punishment and in a attempt to get her in line but she isn’t a girl who likes to be told what to do and when she meets Elian they both feel a connection and they both know there’s something much more mysterious lurking beneath the surface

Dani Rene is an instant one click for me so I don't even read the descriptions anymore. I'm not a fan of the whole taboo teacher/student trope, especially when the student is in high school, yet, I couldn't put Deviant down after I started it because I didn't pay attention to the description. Arabella has made many mistakes already in her young life, which has led her to be sent to Black Mountain Academy to finish her senior year out, with her secrets held close to the vest. Elian is one of her teachers with some secrets of his own, and she physically runs into him which set new events in motion since the chemistry was thick, and totally against the rules. There are many dirty little secrets that are being unraveled, making for dark twists & turns to get the f-bombs dropping as I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure things out while waiting for that other shoe to drop. So this is definitely a story that gets the heart racing, and is actually impossible to put down, so in conclusion, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
