Chronicles of St. Mary's Series Jodi Taylor 8 Books Collection Set:

A Second chance:
It began well. A successful assignment to 17th century Cambridge to meet Isaac Newton, and another to witness the historic events at The Gates of Grief. So far so good.

Lies, Damned Lies, and History:
Max has never been one for rules. They tend to happen to other people. But this time she's gone too far. And everyone at St Mary's is paying the price.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong:
With great privilege comes great responsibility, something Max knows only too well, and as newly appointed Chief Training Officer at the St Mary's Institute of Historical Research.

An Argumentation of Historians:
They say you shouldn't push your luck. Max gives her own luck a massive shove every day and it's only a matter of time until luck pushes back...

The Long and the Short of it:
Roman Holiday Max and her team become spectacularly involved with Julius Caesar, Cleopatra and a basket of confused asps.

A Trail Through Time:
Snatched from her own world and dumped into a new one, Max is soon running for her life. Again.

A Symphony of Echoes:
Dispatched to Victorian London to seek out Jack the Ripper, things go badly wrong when he finds the St Mary's historians first.

And the Rest is History:
When an old enemy appears out of nowhere with an astonishing proposition for Max - a proposition that could change everything Max is tempted. Very tempted.

About the author

Jodi Taylor

Jodi Taylor is the internationally bestselling author of the Chronicles of St Mary's series, the story of a bunch of disaster prone individuals who investigate major historical events in contemporary time. Do NOT call it time travel! She is also the author of the Time Police series - a St Mary's spinoff and gateway into the world of an all-powerful, international organisation who are NOTHING like St Mary's. Except, when they are.

Alongside these, Jodi is known for her gripping supernatural thrillers featuring Elizabeth Cage together with the enchanting Frogmorton Farm series - a fairy story for adults.

Born in Bristol and now living in Gloucester (facts both cities vigorously deny), she spent many years with her head somewhere else, much to the dismay of family, teachers and employers, before finally deciding to put all that daydreaming to good use and write a novel. Over twenty books later, she still has no idea what she wants to do when she grows up.

Imagine a research facility where you travel in time to research history. Imagine the problems.
Read these books, preferably in order, but read them. Then read them again. And don’t miss the short stories. The read the Time Police books too. You won’t regret it. I haven’t and I might be on my fourth time.
My favourite story? The Very First Thing.
And a quote ? It’s about Max: “ Mummy shouted at her and she DIED! Mummy’s AWESOME!”
Read it-you’ll understand why.
