This book is a great introduction to the SDL libraries and programming games. The author clearly has a great grasp on what another programmer needs to get into this arcane, but seemingly simple graphics library (SDL = Simple directmedia layer). It also has information about OpenAL and OpenPlay. I am excited to get to those chapters. I interlibrary loaned this book and I may buy it now.
