Can Juliette recover her past and find answers or will she lose more than just her memories this time?
A.M. Myers lives in Cody, Wyoming – a little town about an hour away from Yellowstone National Park – with her husband and their two boys. She has been writing for most of her life and even had a poem nationally published in the sixth grade but the idea of writing an entire book always seemed so daunting until a certain story got stuck in her head and wouldn’t leave her alone until she started typing. Now, she can’t imagine a time when she won’t be letting all of the stories in her head spill out onto paper. A.M. Myers writes emotional, gripping romantic suspense novels that will leave you swooning and hanging off the edge of your seat from start until finish. When she is not writing, you can usually find her up in the mountains with her boys, camping, fishing and taking photos of the beautiful landscape she is lucky enough to call home.
How would you feel if you woke up from a coma and can't remember the last 5 years of your life? This is how the book starts out. Juliette was in a car crash and the last thing she remembers is leaving a bar back home with her bff before she moved to Florida to be close to her Dad. To make things worse is there is a strange man sitting there. Her fiance.
You try to get to know him but something doesn't feel right so you want to go back to the place where you remember. Her bff gets her to ride.
Moose or also named Sawyer is the one who gives Juliette a ride home. He has been on club business in her area. It's like love at first sight. Problem is she is supposed to be engaged and he always chooses crazy women.
This is a decent read but nowhere near as good as the others. I would have liked a look at the wedding... the designing of a new house and what about the baby?? Yes I'd say the author just ran out of time to finish this book.
I was shaking after the previous book ended and super curious to read this one. The first 5 books have been amazing so the spark was super high. A.M. Myers has given me one hell of a series. I'm in love with her writing and I can't get enough of her. Her writing is raw and wild, super engaging and intense... Just see for yourself. Never Let Me Go is the sixth book from the Bayou Devils MC series and explores the lives of Juliette and Sawyer. Guys, you must read the first five books right away and then grab this one. All books are standalone but you need to read this series from the beginning. Sawyer, aka Moose, is one of the brothers from the Bayou Devils MC. He's loyal to a fault and will do everything for his family. He's a bit grumpy but with a huge heart. When on a job he gives a ride to a beautiful lady... Juliette has it all, a great family, an amazing home, a thriving business until a horrible accident toke not only her father but also 5 years of her memory. Overwhelmed with the need to know more, to find herself, she runs away. When she takes a ride from a gorgeous man... Once again, another book took my breath away. This book. Perfect plot, very well written, super engaging, and emotional. How would you feel if you lost 5 years of your memories? I honestly don't know but the way this story was portraited was phenomenal. Each chapter was even more addictive than the latest and I couldn't stop reading. I couldn't stop, because things were happening in a way that the need to know more was super strong. Do you know that feeling that something is wrong? Guys, I was thinking one thing, and then when I realized that I was right I was on cloud nine. Lol Some might think that if you have already read an MC book, have read them all, but guys... You're super wrong. This series is getting better and better and I want more. Another great book A.M. intense and emotional with a touch of hot stuff into the mix. Dayum, it was that good. Now let's start book 7.
Learning that she’s lost five years of memories, she stares at Gavin, who claims he’s her fiancé, but she can’t find any memory of him. She can’t remember moving to Miami to be closer to her father and having a fiancé, or Nico her personal assistant, only to be told her father died in the car accident that caused her to have retrograde amnesia. Deciding she needs answers she rings Mercedes, who is ready to come to help her, but she knows she doesn’t want to be in Miami, when Mercedes ask if she’s going to run away, that’s exactly what she’s going to do, but Mercedes asks her to wait before she does anything she has an idea. Sawyer is a member of the Bayou Devils and in Miami to help a woman relocate from a stalking situation when he gets asked to help a friend of the Devils and gives a friend a lift back to Baton Rouge. With everything she’s been through, Juliette never expected to feel the chemistry she did with Sawyer, he makes her feel safe, even though she hardly knows him. They both feel like they have known each other longer than only the twenty-four hour since they met and they both know they want to explore whatever these intense feelings are between them. Juliette has never been happier but Gavin isn’t giving up and she can’t help wonder if all the ‘accidents’ have to do with him, when Juliette finally tells Sawyer about her past all he can think about his how she lied to him and she’s like everyone else, but he knows what he felt was different. What happens when Sawyer finds out that Juliette truly loves him and the danger, she’s in in more real than they both realised.
Never Let Me Go by A.M. Myers a five-star read that you will never want to let go of. This is number six in the Bayou Devils series, but they can be read as stand-alone. Sawyer Michelson is the epitome of a bad boy that everyone loves. But that’s because he is just so sublime, and even though he is a bad boy he really does have a heart of gold. Juliette is definitely deserving of his support and heart, after everything she goes through in the story, the accident, losing the man in her life and not knowing the life she has. That was so well done that you believe everything and get sucked in and left wondering who is really the bad person in Juliette’s life. The drama and passion were great, and even though there were a couple of pages that seemed to jump a little the rest blew me away to such a point that they didn’t matter. This was a sublime story in the Bayou Devils series, each one gets better than the last.
Juliette has just survived a traumatic car accident which has not only taken her father’s life but has left her with no memory of the last five years. She appears to have the perfect life both personally and professionally, but she feels alone so she asks her best friend, the one person she does remember to help her return to her hometown so she can try and put the pieces of her past together.
Sawyer is a member of the Bayou Devils MC and the man tasked with getting her home. She is not sure why she trusts the tattooed biker, but he is the first person to make her feel safe since she woke up. As their journey continues the chemistry between them ignites but danger continues to follow them and it is a race against time as they must find out who is behind the threats before they are successful.
Great characters, steamy chemistry and twists abound as two people who meet under the most unlikely of circumstances find their other half.
This was my first book by A.M. Myers and I really enjoyed it. This is book six in the Bayou Devils MC series. I haven't read the previous books in the series (which I will totally have to go back and do) and I had no problem falling right into it.
The story is about Sawyer & Juliette. This was such a sweet and romantic story that also included a dose of suspense.
I loved how honest, charming and swoon worthy Sawyer is. He is such a great guy you can't help but fall for him! Juliette is and strong and sassy and has a lot of unfortunate incidents she has to deal with. They don't meet under the best of circumstances but in spite of this they have an instant and undeniable chemistry. Don't miss out on this on this engaging and endearing book.
I loved this book! It is part of the Bayou Devils MC series, my favorite book yet. I love this author’s writing style and her ability to pull me into her story right from the beginning. What happens when you have everything you could want but can’t remember any of it? So, she runs which is when she meets Sawyer and the Bayou Devils MC club. The rest of the story is twists and turns, suspense and you won’t regret picking up this book to find out what happens next. Great characters, a must read.
Never Let Me Go is book six in the Bayou Devils MC series by A. M. Myers. This story was a blissful, tear inducing, heart swelling marvel. Juliette and Sawyer pet us into their world and tell their love story with intensity, drama, and a love that will blind you in its beauty. Juliette suffers after an accident takes her memories, and the feelings of helplessness and despair robbed me of breath. Their story was rough at times, hard to read, but the ultimate in romance and happy ever after. I did not want the story to end. 4 stars.
It was a lame ending. It all just seemed so rushed and incomplete. Juliette wakes up from a car crash with no memories of the last five years. Her father died in the crash and she finds out she’s engaged to Gavin who she has no memory of. The only thing she remembers is her old life in Baton Rouge with her friend Mercedes. Juliette decides to leave at midnight without telling Gavin. And let me tell you, Gavin was the sweetest and I hated that Juliette did that.
Sawyer ends up being in Miami (where Juliette conveniently is, of course) and he’s contacted to drive her to Baton Rouge. As all these books have in common, when Sawyer and Juliette see each other, they feel that spark and that knowledge that this is someone special. On the way they get to know each other. He has her staying in his house, they go on a date, they have lots of sex. I mean 2 weeks ago Juliette woke up with a fiancé who she then broke things of with and within a few days she’s sleeping with Sawyer.
It was super fast paced and I didn’t love that how fast it jumped there especially as they’re saying “I love yous” the next day. All the while we also have someone that seems out to get Juliette. She gets shot at in the woods, and they don’t handle it the way you’d expect. They almost break up. But then they go have more sex. And the Detective shows up to say an ex is accusing Sawyer of punching her. Wtf!? And then nothing else is mentioned about that crazy accusation.
Next Sawyer wakes up to a fire burning his house down and to find Juliette unconscious on the floor of another area of the house. And what is happening!?!?
Then it’s uncovered that Gavin is broke and probably a fake name and they manage to get him arrested but he’s trying to tell Juliette something and the idiots don’t let him talk. So Sawyer proposes like the next day or something and Nico (a friend and employee from Miami) shows up with a gun. She was behind it all. Cops come and arrest her and Juliette agrees to marry Sawyer. The end.
Was that satisfying to you? No? Did it make sense? No? Yeah well that’s how I felt. It was an incredibly rushed story that got sloppy and would’ve been better if the author had developed the story more instead of being greedy to just get it done. This was absolutely an injustice to Sawyer to have such a shitty story. There were so many things unanswered and the pace was just stupid fast where you feel like you missed a chapter or ten.
This is book 6 of the series and you have to read in order, the triggers in this one is domestic violence (from Moose’s past) and murder. This is Juliette (Jett) & Sawyer (Moose) story and I absolutely loved it. Jett wakes up in hospital from a car accident that left her father dead and her in a coma, she doesn’t recognise the man at her bedside who says he is her fiance Gavin and she quickly realises her last memory is from 5 years ago. Gavin refuses to leave her side but she has a strange feeling about him and then her assistant Nico arrives and she doesn’t know her either. Jett realises after leaving hospital this life isn’t hers and she wants to go back home to Baton Rouge to her BFF Mercedes (yes Mercedes from Ali & Storms book) and I liked that link back to her. She breaks up with Gavin and Mercedes arranges for Sawyer to pick her up and bring her back to Baton Rouge as he has just driven down to Miami with Cora one of the women the club helped out. The moment they meet the chemistry is hot hot hot and they soon realise their feelings for each other and instead of hiding at Mercedes or a hotel she agrees to stay with Sawyer. I have to admit I liked Sawyer in previous books but I downright love him after seeing what a beautiful man he is inside and out and Jett is so loving and strong. Little do either of them know her life is in danger and someone from her past is trying to kill her but she has no idea why. Fuzz works with her to try and get her memory back and that’s when snippets come back and she realises who she may be in danger from. As usual Sawyer and his brothers along with Diego do everything they can to save her and capture the killers. Great story but I would have loved Jett to give money to the club to continue helping those women out, I also think the Sammy situation that Fuzz is investigating is the bad guys from Tate & Kodiac’s book… I may be wrong but that’s who I think it is. Now let’s see what Fuzz’s book is like.
I really enjoyed this book and was happy how it all played out. It had a solid plot and was well written. It was a bit suspenseful as the story starts with Juliette having amnesia and working on learning to deal with it. Juliette tries going back to how things were previously but too much has happened and nothing feels right to her. Sawyer is a member of the Bayou Devils MC and wasn’t looking to be involved with anyone but life had its own plans. Sawyer is asked to help Juliette get back to Baton Rouge. He has this intense connection with Juliette and know she’s very special and quickly becomes his center focus. Sawyer’s affectionate ways with Juliette make you fall in love with him. Juliette & Sawyer’s attraction to each other only grows as they start on their journey, but it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. They don’t know that there’s danger all around and it’s only going to get worse. They’re faced with challenges and have to learn how to open up to one another, but when one isn’t completely honest; can they be forgiven for their lies? Again you see previous character from the previous books and how they all come together when needed as a big family should. There are some plot twists that you can foresee, others that catch you off guard and your left with a few unanswered questions. Regardless this was a great story and really enjoy this series. Can’t wait to see what’s happens next
Book 6 delivers just as much emotions, adventure, danger, mystery, and romance as the other phenomenal books in this series. These men of the MC are so handsome, loyal, caring, and loving. It’s hard not to fall head over heals for them all.
Sawyer (Moose) & Juliette’s story is no different! Juliette has memory loss after a horrible accident and the last thing she remembers is Mercedes her BF from Baton Rouge and in order to feel something she knows she needs to come home. Sawyer is in Miami doing a job for the club and he brings Jules back with him as a favor to Mercedes. However, the moment he meets Jules he can’t get over their connection. He’s never allowed himself to feel something strong for women but with her he can’t get enough and he wants to tell her everything. The drive back gives them time to get to know each other and he’s smitten by the time they arrive home.
However, with Jules memory loss the past is haunting her and she is danger but isn’t sure from who it for what reason!! Her ex fiancé is an issue but she has to trust in Sawyer and the Club to keep her safe. She knows they will but it’s still a hard battle to win when she can’t remember. This is a wild adventure but it’s so worth it. Sawyer is an amazing man and his love for Juliette is all consuming and so beautiful. Happy Reading!!
Loved getting Moose's back story, and I'm so glad he found his soul mate like most of his MC brothers. We learned in an earlier book that he's always had the worst luck when it came to women. It even earned him his road name "Moose" thanks to an extra crazy ex! That changes when he meets Juliette when he's asked to bring her back with him to Baton Rouge LA from Miami after he's there to drop off one of the women the club helped. It was basically love at first sight for both of them. Juliette had just been in a horrible accident where she was left in a coma and lost her father. When she woke up, she had amnesia and had lost the last 5 years of her memories. So much happens between them, her ex fiancé Gavin tries to win her back, and she starts to realize that things weren't as they seemed between her and Gavin. No matter how much he tries to make her see they are in love when she comes to Juliette knew something was wrong. Thankfully, she followed her hunch, and that led her back home and to Sawyer's arms. I can't wait to see what happens next with Fuzz and the rest of the brothers. Definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series as well.
Intense with plenty of suspense but also some lovely romance which can be quite scarce in MC stories, these added a really nice touch into an already great book. Having followed the series I know these guys can be tough and do what's needed if the time dictates, it makes a nice change to see the softer side and Sawyer is certainly man enough to do that when it comes to his "Angel". The plot is interesting, with unexpected excitement along the way that had me on the edge of my seat and glued to the pages, its a fast flow with some great banter with the rest of the MC members. Thanks to the epilogue which was really sweet and loving it helped complete this addition to the series and make it just a bit more special. Oh in case you wondered, I loved it.
I love this series of books with each one the story just keeps getting better. I felt for Juliette when she woke up in the hospital and couldn’t remember the last five years and having two complete strangers in her room stating they were her fiancé and best friend. I am glad she went back to Baton Rouge to the only place she felt at home and connected with Sawyer. Sawyer had a lot of guilt on his shoulders from his past but he was an amazing guy that truly cared about Juliette. It didn’t really surprise me about Josh and Nico working together and their betrayal. Strongly suggest reading this book as well as the other in the series.
This is another reason why this series is great, each story continues to get better, they pull you in from the beginning and hold you captive until the very end. Sawyer and Jett two strong people who captures each others heart from the start but the journey to their HEA is a awesome ride, so again another well written story in the lives of the Bayou Devils MC !!!!!
This was a great read. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because there were a few unanswered questions and lots of errors the editor should have caught throughout the book. They were small but they’re very distracting. Good story and so much going on it definitely kept you engaged but would have been nice if some things had been wrapped up better.
If you like insta-love. It was a good story line but everything happened so fast. Very little build up. The biggest pain though was the formatting. It kept changing and throwing me off. I'd recommend it for someone who is looking for something light and full of overly sweet love from the main H.
This Bayou Devils MC series gets better and better. I loved reading the story as it evolved. A.M Myers does it again keeping you hooked throughout and developing the main characters but still incorporating side stories of the other characters. Can't wait for next book 💚
This is the 6th book phenomenal series and what a perfect addition to this series this story is. This is a story written flawless story which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
Juliette is a young woman who wakes up from a coma and discovers she has been in a terrible auto accident and her father was killed in the accident. She also discovers she cannot remember the last 5 yrs. of her life. She also has a fiance who she doesn't remember. She runs to Baton Rouge and meets Sawyer and they proceed to fall in love and try and put her life back together. Good story!
I liked this book because it stayed pretty strictly on the forgotten memory storyline. Until the very end. It was an easy read and very well written. This was more of a slow , creep on in, consume towards the end type of story, with a really big twist at the end.
Out of all her books I think I love Sawyer & Juliette story the best. It was different but very captivating compared to most MC story. I love that the author makes most her leading ladies strong willed. It’s great! Love love love this story & all its twists and turns!
I was on the edge of my seat threw the whole book. It's full of suspense and romance. I just loved Sawyer and Juliette's instant connection. I just love this series. I can't wait to read what happens next.
Ok so he's in a MC, there's a little about the MC but I wouldn't consider it a full blown MC book. There is a little heat and a small amount t of mild suspense by that's about it. I loved their journey thought it was a good read
This story was incredible, outstanding, exciting and just plain fantastic!!!. It was so moving and heartwarming 😂. A.M. is an amazing writer with a fantastic imagination 😊.
Why did I choose this rating? Because I really liked the story. The plot was different/Interesting. The characters felt real and the angst wasn't drawn out and was quickly resolved.
