While I like the premise of No Strings Allowed, I had serious issues with the author's description of the characters vs the cover of the book. Thomas was described as a blue eyed man with a tan and wavy hair. As you can see from the cover, that's not what Thomas looks like. He's clearly a dark skin man with textured hair. So, throughout the entire book, I kept wondering if Thomas was white. In one of the scenes, Francesca was described as having her hair piled on top of her head in a bun. Again, as you can see from the cover, she clearly has a short natural. What hair she piling up?!!! For the life of, I don't understand why some of these authors can't remember what they write. I don't know what came first; the description of the characters or the book cover?!!! But, whichever one came first, some changes should've been made. Your character description should ALWAYS match the people on the cover of your book. Period!

This was short but it was a good story. I liked the idea of a one night stand turning to more especially when it's the hero who wants more. Francesca liked Thomas but she had a few things going on in her life and didn't think she had time for a relationship. Overall I really liked this one and look forward to more from this author.

Needs Another Editor

The storyline had potential, but the execution was disappointing. The writing didn’t flow well. This book had so many typos and errors. She continuously switched from first-person to third-person narration in the same sentence. It was incredibly distracting and confusing. That honestly ruined the momentum of the story for me. The leading lady had so much unnecessary angst. She came off as too whiny. The leading man had potential, but his character felt underdeveloped. The ending was not bad, but it felt anticlimactic after their intense meeting.

Oooooowwweeeeee chile Thomas and Francesca taught me a thang or two lol
But seriously they did.
Anywho lol their one night was so steamy. I was mad neither one of them was grown up to say what they felt, but I got over it once I understood why Francesca didn't. She had a lot going on.
Thennn..... yea I was happy over all with the way things played out.
Thomas is BAE! He was what she needed even though she didn't want to acknowledge it.

It was cute

It was such a cute novella. Nice and quick and straight to the point. I can’t wait to read the next couple in the series. While I loved the story about Thomas’ brother better this one was still quite good.

If Only For One Night

Francesca orginally only wanted just one night with Thomas but the loving was so good that it stuck with her and became a permanent fixture of desire. Thomas wanted more from the start but Francesca shut him down until her heart made her want him as well.

Great read

Although this was a short story, it packed a SERIOUS PUNCH. I'm amazed at how the author's words are so craftfulky woven together. Great job Chencia

Enjoyable quick read.

I loved the fact the couple met online and fell in love. The story line was realistic and relatable. Steamy sex scenes but not over the top.

Very short piece of erotica. Sometimes I wonder about straight women (really *no one* has ever given you more than 1 orgasm in an hour?) but otherwise, very good.

It had a few typos, think the editing could have been better.

Lot of Love

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. First off, the story started with a risqué subject matter and delved into an even juicer display of off the charts sexy scenarios of a one night stand... Whew!! This story was not for the faint at heart for sure.... The one night stand turns into a nice friends with benefits, which eventually leaves both yearning for more... A nice piece of writing...

****Contains spoilers****
Entertaining read. Very steamy. Good dialogue. The falling-in-love-after-a-one-night-stand is a bit cliche, but a pleasure nonetheless. I rated this book with four stars because of the ending. I didn't feel like I understood the direction that the characters were moving in beyond admitting their feelings.

Hmmm...

Bought this book after I saw it being discussed in one of my FB groups.

Good sex scenes, but it didn't feel like a love story/romance to me. Most of the couple's conversations took place off the page, so I didn't see much of the falling in love process, and was a little surprised when both characters admitted being in love. Maybe it's just me, though.

The concept and the writing were pretty good, so I'll definitely check out the author again.
