The joy of being a woman: and what a man can do

Rate this book
Writing from a strongly Christian viewpoint, Trobisch clearly and sympathetically discusses each major realm of a woman's physical experience--sexual fulfillment, fertility and conception control, pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, menopause and maturity--and how loving and understanding her own body enhances a woman's spiritual life.

This book is just like what the husband of the writer wrote: "I believe it can be truly stated that the message my wife proclaims in this book has never been said before, at least not in this way and in this form." This book expresses so much from a woman point of view, besides helping females to understand themselves better, it would help males to understand the lady he is living with that a male counterpart may love his wife as his own body (cf. Ephesians 5:8)therefore become an even more "united as one" couple just as God want married couples to be. It is a book that helps both female and male to understand each other better; especially things that Asians are usually reluctant to discuss about. Besides that, this book would be a great material for couples to discuss together; I believe it would help draw couples closer to each other. Thank you so much Madam Ingrid Trobisch.

VERY helpful for understanding a woman's body and cycle, and written by a Christian. Would be helpful for more women to read this. There are some German psychological allusions which might be very accurate and might be very heretical.

I think this book is something I'd refer to when I get married. I applaud the author because she is very knowledgeable, she tells it as it is. Very detailed book that not many authors are brave enough to explain. It gave me lots of insights I know I'll use for married life.

An ok book. A little dated, and a little preachy, but sorta helpful if you had to read it anyway. Don't think I would recommend.
