Hey there. I'm Weston.

Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.

I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.

Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.

You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.

Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.

A Fabulous Story Of A Second Chance At Love

This is a beautiful story of second chances by Weston Parker who is one of my favourite authors as I know that I can pick up any of his books, knowing that it will be well written, a great storyline, fabulous characters and enough HEAT to make my heart melt as well as other things too.  In this story we meet Kya and Leonard who grew up next door to each other and were the best of friends till about year 8 at school [12/13 years old] when she developed more quickly and became much more popular and sung in a band.  Leonard/Leo loved her. He always had but he was rather a geek and didn't even try to fit in with her group of new friends. All that changed on the night before their graduation from high school when he lost his v-card to her [Nice change and twist in the story Mr Parker!!]. he thought that this was going to be the beginning of 'THEM' as a couple but sadly this was not to be. Though something had started that would have implications for all their lives.  They part company and then five years later is when we 'meet' them again and he is now a successful solicitor and she is in a successful band. I'm not going to tell you the hows and why's that they get a second chance but I must warn you that it will make you smile, it will make you want to read more of Weston's stories as this story illustrates perfectly why he is such a renowned author.  It will catch your attention at page one and maintain it right to the very end.  I'm now looking forward to his next book.  I received a reader's copy and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Definitely recommended - get your own copy now!

Story: 3/5
Writing: 2/5

Second chance romances snd secret babies are my weakness. I was looking forward to a good story....and it was...in part. I just felt like there were no distinguishing voices between characters. Whenever someone was speaking you wouldn’t know the difference. Also, it felt a bit choppy. I’m disappointed.

potential…. but it flops

I didn’t know who i liked in this book. By the blurb i wasn’t liking Leo. 6% into the book i was hating Kya. Then i hated them both. The blurb was misleading. Leo didn’t know about the child when he was suing Kya. It makes it seem like she brought the kid to court and he recognized the facial features of the daughter to assume she was his. It’s not like that.

The romance felt sweet but I’m uncomfortable with Kya. Besides the initial s3x moment, nothing was lead that she loved him. 2nd time around she missed him so much …. But they didn’t talk in high school. What did she miss? What was she expecting? THAT is what i couldn’t wrap my head around. Yeah great sex but that’s all. Leo i can believe because he explains his feelings throughout the book. But we are supposed to believe Kya loved him the whole time? Nah. There was no communication. She used him in high school then dips. They see each other 5 years later and she wants a relationship? Cause she regrets not trying after they had sex 5 years prior ? No.

Leo and Kya had a history with a misunderstanding that took them in separate ways. This was an intricately woven second chance romance with a secret baby involved, and the POVs were done well and gave us Kya and Leo's thoughts and feelings in a way that helped us feel their emotions along with them. Great romance read!

In my personal opinion I didn’t like this book as much as the others. It was a good read but I didn’t really like Leonard and the man he became. He was the nerd in school and had one time with the girl he love, Kya, a popular girl who turned him down after their night as teenagers. She had her reasons and always cared about Leonard, they were best friends at one time and when she sees him again after 5 years, he gets his revenge, has another time with her and leaves her behind. Only to meet up again 5 years later when his firm is defending her manager, a crook who stole money from her band.
Leonard was too much of a man wh*** for me, he treated all women like objects with his own reasons behind it. Especially after the last time, if he really really loved her, he would have thought about her, followed her and would have known she had a daughter. Not only that but his assistant, a woman he gets it on with, asks her to join him when he leaves when he is with Kya...what ??? Is Tabby still his assistant and does Kya ever find out what they were ?? I couldn’t connect with him and Kya fell into his arms too easily especially knowing his reputation.
I did enjoy the role reversal, the woman rocker with a band and the boy being the nerd who turned into a good looking man and the steamy sevens. I just wished Leo was more sincere, likeable, and a better man considering what he went through as a teenager. Not one of my favourites even though I love this author and all the other books...this one missed the mark with me....3.5 stars.

Free read, new author.
This could have been entertaining, except it isn’t.
Not one character ends up being likeable except a five year old child.
Too much instantaneous transformation of negative behaviour with no real dialogue or reasoning.
These two childhood “friends”, have 5 year gaps between having sex. Revenge sex on his part. How mature.
They don’t really know each other at all.
He is a major ho player, he also gets bj’s from his secretary on a regular basis. Then when he leaves his disgusting excuse for a father’s law firm, he takes the obliging secretary with him.
The heroine has his child and doesn’t tell him due to hurt feelings. Then has sex with him on first meeting up.
Then keeps having sex with him, even though she knows about his reputation as THE LEGEND.
Interestingly enough, their five year old daughter never seems to be around when they get together, so they can have sex without interruption.
I thought the heroine had some spine to start with, then she just opened her legs, even though she was upset with him.
She also has some serious parental problems, but gets all teary when her father shows up to walk her down the aisle.
The same parents who told her she was a waste of space and haven’t spoken to her for half of her life.
Leo’s father is a typical lawyer. His attitude of make crap up to tar the opposition was par for the course.
The whole reversal, for no real reason of all the parent’s behaviour was unexplainable.
In summation, a waste of my time.
Won’t be reading any others.

This is truly an excellent book. 5 stars! Leo & Kya characters are written so well. I love that they first met and fell in love at 6 years old, next door neighbors. Maybe it was 8 years old when she fell off her bicycle and skinned her knee up pretty badly, crying big tears. Broke Leo’s little heart so he picked her up and carried her indoors to fix her knee. I bet he used a whole tube of ointment and 100 band-aids to make sure she was all better. lol Then they graduate high school the same year and at 18 years old, who can communicate that well? They have a misunderstanding fight and part ways. Leo goes to Law School and Kya sings in her band. Another 5 years later about 23 years old they run into each other again and Kya wants to make up and get together as a couple but Leo throw what she said to him at 18, back in her face and walks out. Both hearts broken, and still trying to learn how to communicate and share feelings. 5 more years later at 28 years old Kya is in band trouble and needs legal help. Leo is on the other side and they start to communicate with proof documents and Leo & Kya fall back in love and Leo learns he is a daddy. A year later at 29 they marry and darling Addison is 5 whole years old. So much more happens and they make extended families happier, you just will completely enjoy reading this story with a wonderful HEA.

One of the best stories I’ve ever read.

This story is My new favorite from Weston Parker. and I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it deserves so much more.
Its meaty, gripping, full of ins and outs, while it just flows smoothly, Taking this couple from adolescence to adulthood. Its as if every chapter was a present to open and unwrap revealing something else better than the last one.
I loved how it started with them at different stages in their lives. First in high school as friends, then years later at one of Kya’s concerts following Leo’s law school graduation, and finally five years later when he’s the lawyer for a manager Kya’s band is suing.
A beautiful, perfect love story. Every girl needs her own Leo in her life!

Oh my god… I think this is my lowest rating ever.

I’m sorry, this story had so much potential. As soon as I read the blurb, I was desperate to read this. Teenage nerd turns playboy lawyer. Rock chick single mum. Secret baby. Second/Third chance romance. This book had some of my fave tropes. Unfortunately, it was a huge let down. The writing was poor, to the point where I wondered if there was even an editor involved or even beta readers because the writing was just so bad and choppy. It didn’t even make sense at times. It was like it was a rush job. The story wasn’t even what the blurb suggests. And the characters were pretty flat with zero development throughout the book.

I’m sorry to say that I doubt I’ll be picking up another book from this author.

There's not much I can say about this book that I enjoyed. I like the role reversal with Kya being the rock star and Leo, the attorney. After having a sort of relationship in high school, these two morons have sex about every 5 years, but there's no follow-up. They ghost each other for another five years. But the last time they were "together," Kya has a baby and says nothing to Leo. Frankly, as the manho that he is, I would do exactly what she had done. It gets worse. Leo has a sexetary who gives BJs on the regular, and even when he's back with Kya, he takes the OW with him to the next job. I lost respect for Weston Parker when he decided to continue his character in the vein of a cheater. I cannot recommend this garbage.

My One and Only
4 Stars
I received a free copy of the steamy Chicago-based novel My One and Only in the Secret Baby Boxset by Weston Parker and this review was given freely.
Filled with drama, I kept changing sides in this reunion novel of childhood friends and neighbors. I quickly became invested in the characters, and while I initially felt sorry for Leo, I quickly grew to dislike his womanizing playboy character who continually vied for the approval of his cold and callous status-focused father. Despite that, this story contains a cute four-year-old, Kya’s large supportive rocker family, and a heartwarming ending.

Read For Author:
Weston Parker knows his romance even if when your reading it, it does seem like there's going to be "Bam" there it is.
Kya and Leonard/Leo grew next door neighbors always being friends, he was nerdy, she was going to be a rock star. He gave her the big V and laid it all on the line and she walked away...Five years later they hooked up he got his revenge on her and then some. Five years later, well trust me it's worth the read. One thing about Weston Parker and his sister Ali in their books they don't disappoint.

Really love this book! Weston Parker writes so beautifully that you get carried into this exciting romance in a great way. I really couldn’t put it down. Leonard is a great bad boy. Intimidating, hot, a bit scary and so determined. Kya is equally as head strong and addictive to read about. The emotions on this story are written in such a way that you feel things as you read. This book totally hits the spot. Is an absolutely beautiful romance.

I read this book via the Kindle Unlimited programme.

Childhood neighbors she became popular in high school with her own band and he was a dweeb with a bad dad. They end high school with her giving him what leaves him feeling like it was a pity F*ck. Years later he is very successful lawyer and sees her at a show and he gives her a revenge F*ck. That is the basis of the story that is 5 years later with her having legal problems and his bad dad forcing him to go against her. There is a lot of detail and a whole lot of multi-page sex scenes. Tighten it up and reduce the sex scenes at it would be an improbable but interesting story.

My One and Only

Great second chance romance or friends to lovers. However you look at it. Kya and Leonard grew up together. Leonard wanted more but never figured he would have a chance. At a party one night he gets his chance but after Kya is off to chase her dreams. Years go by before a second chance comes along. Hurt feelings are still there. Wonderful characters. I loved them all.

My One and Only

What a beautiful story about two young people who grew up together, were best of friends, until they each went off to different schools. Years later, Leo still angry how his best friend just left him, he figures a way to get back at her. Now years later, they are at a crossroads, interesting things are happening, so much to do with their lives, pasts, and futures, worried about the outcome. Great story, amazing story. Loved it.❤️

my one and only

This story had a lovely 4 star ending. However i had to skip pages and pages of very descriptive sex to get there.
The first time they get together the sex description is usually hot and adds to the story. There was so much of the mechanics of it in this book it meant a lot less story. It became boring. If you like good romantic suspense, sorry but this isn’t it.

My One and Only is a second chance romance. I really enjoyed Kya and Leonard's story, even though I didn't always liked what happened between them. There is plenty of drama in this story with both Kya and Leonard having regrets for choices they'd made and being afraid to take a chance on more. Throw in a cold dad who was always pushing Leonard to do more, be better, and a sleezy music manager and things get really interesting. Once I started reading I didn't want to put the book down.

Mediocre at best

The first story was just ok. I didn't like that the supposed hero was a jerk until he realizes he loves the heroine. Two stars just because the story dragged on much longer than it needed to. Didn't make it past several pages into the second story, off the bat this guy is unlikable. Didn't attempt to read any further.

Details

I thought this story line was promising with the reverse popular girl\ awkward guy. I stopped reading on page 17 when nerdy guy was graduating from law school 5 yrs after high school. It may seem like a small detail but very basic storyline research would tell you that law school is typically an additional 3 yrs after 4 yrs of college.

Real Life Issues, Romance and Laughs

Kya and Leo were childhood friends who had a one nighter twice. The second resulted a daughter that he doesn't know about. Life and circumstances bring them together again and the sparks fly. Their story is amazing, entertaining and heart-warming.

Enjoyable.

I really liked this book. Loved that Leo always was in love with Nya. But she broke his heart. Unfortunately, years later he breaks her heart, but also ended up fathering her daughter. I loved that I felt for them and had some tears in their heartaches. Why is Leo’s Dad so hard on him? It’s an emotional journey and I loved their happy ever after.

I loved everything about this book. Kya an Leonard were absolutely perfect together as were their family & friends. It was so wonderful to see family & friends come together. Addie was absolutely adorable also. I only hope there is a book about Leo's father and his friend Jon they both deserve great women and HEA! Great & fun read.

DNF at 12%. Couldn’t take the slut shaming from both the hero and the heroine. The heroine despite being a musician in a genre I love gave me I’m not like other girls vibes which I hate. The story even though I was only 3 chapters in gave me a weird vibe so I’ve decided to DNF this book as I can spend my time more with better books than this
