Here's my gripe, I am SO over the Law of Attraction teaching. I'm over it to the point of frustration. Why are all of the astrology books I'm reading lately devoting chapters of content to rehash the same old Law of Attraction stuff you can find for free all over the internet? I don't want to hear one more writer tell me that if only I policed my thoughts (Gregory literally tells us to be "thought police") my life would change for the better. If I wanted a Law of Attraction book I would buy that. What I want is an astrology book, and that's what I bought. Had it stuck to the astrology alone this would have easily been a four star rating for me.

Because here's the thing, I like this book. I like how Gregory has specifically written something a complete beginner to astrology can use. I like how she's given actual thought to how overwhelming a chart is and made a real effort to put together something that can get anyone reading something on their chart that is both not overwhelming AND gives actual useful and directive information. I would 100% feel comfortable recommending this book to beginners (especially to peeps who say "I just can't get astrology"), as well as to more experienced astrology explorers who'll find the Life Destiny tools in the book interesting to work with. I also really loved the first exercise of working with slips of paper and key words from our chart it is definitely strong and useful enough to simply have been introduced on it's own for it's own merit without the LoA teaching around it.

I really enjoyed and appreciated Gregory's take on astrology. So far I'd say she's one of my favourite writers on the topic. The problem is, she just didn't spend enough time talking about the astrology. I would have much preferred that she drop the chapters on basic Law of Attraction and the final predictive chapter (which she tells us is a repeat of what's in her other book and not at all on topic for this book's purpose) and dedicated that real estate to fleshing out the interpretation of the subject of this book even more. I was frustrated to find that even though she tells us that it's important to not just look at our Nodes and Midheaven, but also the ruling planets of our North Node and Midheaven, she never actually writes out descriptions of how to interpret or work with those ruling planets. Granted, she references it in all the real life examples she gives, but there's no resource where I can look up how having Venus in my 9th house might influence my North Node interpretation. Alternatively, I also would have loved to see a lot more examples of other people's charts which probably would allow most readers to work out how to use the reference information we already have in the book to interpret the things that she didn't spell out as well (such as the application of ruling planets etc.).

Why for all that is holy would you tell me about something and then spend two chapters talking about the importance of policing how I think rather than, oh yeah, finish teaching me the lesson I bought the book for.

The reason I'm spending so much time b!tching about this is because I just really wanted this to be a great book, it clearly had the potential to be a great and useful handbook, and I feel like veering off course into a "popular" topic that sells took it from great to just good. As small asides, I found that the ebook version hadn't had the graphics properly optimized, so there's a graphic introducing the planets where the bottom is cut off and I couldn't read past Jupiter. Later on, graphics drop down and over lap text making it hard to read - though happily this is a problem easily solved with an update to the ebook. I also somehow got the impression from the beginning of the book that this was going to be part instructional and part workbook and kept trying to find the workbook pages which weren't actually there. I don't know if this is a glitch of editing (something that got changed but never corrected in the text) or a misunderstanding on my part though.

Despite all this, this is still a book I'll be adding to my recommendation list with the instructions to read all the astrology chapters, work out your chart, do the exercise with the pieces of paper, and just skim the rest. In the end Gregory's work was full of interesting ideas which I'm going to be folding into my own astrology tool box and thinking more deeply about for myself. I just wish she'd spent the whole book on the thing she is great and thought provoking at... oh well, maybe the next book by her is will be what I'm looking for.

A guideline for life

This book is very concise, but, at the same time, condenses higher-mind "secret" knowledge and makes it accesible to everyone in a practical way. You won't become an astrologer with this, but even if you have little knowledge about the signs science, you'll be able to put this to use in your life. This is arguably the most powerful perspective of astrology for personal development. I'm amazed.

I read what I was learning in this book to other people (using their charts) and it was mind-blowing how it resonates with everyone, even if they were skeptical about astrology.

This book is about discovering our place in this life, our soul's purpose, the abilities we bring in from previous lives and the direction we should take to develop ourselves. This also about how understanding and aligning with our purpose will enable us to manifest into life want we really need.

How To Co-Create Using the Secret Language of the Universe by Pam Gregory is about using astrology to plot the course of your life.
It was very helpful when I started working with mine .Your birth chart can help you find your path. The moon has always been a huge influence in my life and pulls me to it. I was thrilled to see a book simple enough for me to understand and is also for the more experienced astrologer. Using the moon as a light to help with so many things like charging your gemstones or your self . Other planets when worked in conjunction with the moon to balance yourself. Astrology used as it is in this book is one of the most powerful sciences out there.. I loved this book and I see myself using it frequently. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review.

I'm on the last couple pages of Pam Gregory's book and I just love her approach. This book really focuses on finding one's soul purpose using one's birth chart and astrology. Gregory focuses on the North and South nodes in a reader's chart to determine where we've been on our soul's journey (as indicated by the South node--early life and past life experiences) and the direction we are headed now as illuminated by one's North Node. I'm older and have never had a problem with my spiritual/career path or purpose, but reading this book validated my life's work and direction...that I have been spot on in accomplishing what I was meant to. Very satisfying. Moving through this book is like solving a puzzle and putting all the pieces together so you can see the big picture. Thanks Pam!

oh my goodness I thoroughly enjoyed this book. it was concise, inspiring, very informative, and surprising. I really enjoyed how the main focus of the book was the nodal axis in western astrology and its importance in fulfilling ourselves wholefully and soulfully, however there was a heavy sprinkling of quantum physics and metaphysics that deeply resonated with me and was very appropriate companion to the nodal axis topic. I think she really gets the reader to understand the importance of the nodes, however i am bias because i have a decent background in astrology. Very nice and enriching read would recommend

Pam Gregory is a conscientious and sincere proponent of creating your own reality. For decades I've embraced this concept, but Gregory (an excellent teacher) presents it in an entirely new and persuasive way. She goes beyond the simple premise that to create some outcome you envision it (well known to athletes who envision their success). She explains the causal dynamics that include quantum physics, your astrological chart, and the power of human will. In all, this is an inspirational book, one that will make you take note of your life as well as learn some basics of astrology. I highly recommend it.

This book opened another level of awareness that I was looking for. Simple understanding of our nodes, midheaven and our path trough years ahead of us.
It makes me fall in love in astrology even more with every page turned!

I found this book fascinating especially with the ability to download your own Astro chart from the website to read along side the information within the book. Very interesting read.

Great introduction to astrology for beginners. Was a bit repetitive. Also outdated with the usage of "third world countries." She uses a colonial lens where she thinks that Western people should do charity work for the rest of the world instead of systemic change.

Did you know you're here for a reason and that your life purpose is written in the stars? In How To Co-Create Using the Secret Language of the Universe, Pam Gregory helps you decipher the part of your birth chart that has to do with your life purpose and your mission on this planet.

I find the book very helpful and easy to follow. With Pam's help, I was able to see what abilities and challenges I'm carrying with me from previous lives and how I can harness them to create the life I want. It also clarified a lot of doubts in my mind and made me realise I'm on the right track. It's eerie to see how my birth chart confirms the intuitive calling I've been feeling for years and yet, for some reason, pushed aside. No more! It's time to go all in.

If you're not sure what to do with your life or why you're here, I highly recommend you pick up a copy.
