From Matt Shaw, author of Sick B*stards and Porn. This is a short story intended for those on Kindle Unlimited looking for a quick read. If you would rather have a longer read, please do not hesitate to check out Matt Shaw's other books. Black Cover books for extreme horror and "normal" covers for tamer stories!

Bryan Jenner is THE chat show host everyone tunes in to see. His guests are, as he puts it, the scum of society and he loves his job, belittling them and making them look foolish to the audience. An audience who can't get enough... Today's episode is different for one reason and one reason only though, the "wronged" guest, Holly, has all her teeth. More than that, she is stunning. That's the only difference to the norm though. The story is the same... Her lousy boyfriend has been stealing from her. Can Bryan fix this relationship or is it too late for them? He isn't sure. The only thing he knows for sure is... He'll give the audience a show to remember.

Biography

MATT SHAW was born, quite by accident (his mother tripped, he shot out) September 30th 1980 in Winchester hospital where he was immediately placed on the baby ward and EBay. Some twelve years later (wandering the corridors of the hospital and playing with road kill when he was on day release), the listing closed and he remained unsold, he was booted out of the hospital to start his life as a writer and hobbit – beginning with writing screenplays and short stories for his own amusement before finally getting published when he was twenty-seven years and forty-five seconds old.

Once Published weekly in a lad's magazine with his photography work, Matt Shaw is also a published author and cartoonist. Has to be said, can be a bit of a flirt and definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, somewhat of a klutz.

I picked this one up through my Kindle Unlimited subscription. I enjoy horror short stories, and was very impressed with Sick Bastards by the same author.

No gore fest in Chat Show, but the reader does get to see the dark side of such shows as Jerry Springer or Maury Povich. When a host's ego becomes the most important factor when dealing with other people's lives, what depths will they sink to to ensure ratings?

Enjoyable for a quick, half hour read. Like Shaw's other short that I recently read, entitled Teeth, I had this one figured out well before the end.

A little different to his usual style and not really horror based BUT, I enjoyed it. Where ever you think the story is going, forget it, cause Matt will always take it in the other direction! ;)

Chat Show

A great short story that tells the story behind the stories of talk shows and what lengths some hosts will go to to gain viewers.

Great story

In America there is a tv show called Maury he does the same thing as this story. It's wrong but it keeps the audience entertained.

Short but sweet

Didn't see that ending coming! Easily identifiable as a certain host we have here in the UK but outs a very horrible twist on it! Loved it.
