This is a decent overview of the Robert's Rules of order. It's not comprehensive at all, but I definitely did learn somethings. I do plan on one day reading the actual current edition of the Robert's Rules of Order, but I'm a bit intimidated.

Felt like a great summation of Robert's Rules. I feel inspired by and excited to implement the structure suggested by this book (with some tweaks to better fit the organization I'm chairing). I wish there was more content directly touching on best practices for hosting virtual meetings though.

Good Read

Highly recommended if you intend to start or preside over an organization. Get the expanded edition form or detail answers though.

This listen is a good choice if you are starting up a company, board, or new department within an existing organization. It details step by step how to formalize the charter, bylaws, and choose officers so the group is structured for successful decision making and to avoid on the fly rule changing or power seizure.

To be honest, it wasn't what I was expecting. I was thinking it would be a how to guide for running meetings but this information is invaluable for the reasons I stated above.

Peter Bierma does a decent reading of the material.

I received this audiobook from Audiobook Boom! in exchange for an honest review.
