Readers’ Comments ‘I liked this book very much. It was a little slow in parts but, all in all, plenty happening and tightly written.’ Male reader, aged 43 ‘Good cover. Excellent chemistry between the two central characters. Readership-wise, difficult to place it. Too graphic for YA but too YA for adults. Lost in no man’s land. I enjoyed it anyway.’ Female reader, aged 32 ‘Descriptive but overly so. Characters developed well all the way to the end. The ending was fab; best part of the book.’ Male reader, aged 27 ‘most interesting character was Ethan. The author is very good at plotting a story. Pace was too slow for me but the ending picked up and I was pretty rivetted. Many didn’t like the cover but I did.’ Girl, aged 19 To Sum It Up: ‘A hard-hitting, fast-paced adventure. A Red Ribbon winner and highly recommended.’ The Wishing Shelf Book Awards
What a great read! I had no idea what I was getting into but it was fast paced and gripping. Found myself thinking about the characters all the time. Fantastic work!
Well written and truly makes you think, in a world seemingly more paranoid by the day are there things like Jamie and Ethans story happening behind closed doors
