Ages 4-9? Try telling that to my class of 6 & 7 year olds that couldn’t sit through the full paragraphs on each page, of writing obviously not geared towards children. The pictures were interesting and detailed enough, though, that I could make up my own words as I went.

Good introduction to Easter for young children, without being too gory.

Wow, what a great little boardbook. Good, scripturally-sound info. It covers Jesus' life, and the significance of why we celebrate Easter.

Virtually the same text as The Easter Story by Carol Heyer, but with different, larger, slightly updated illustrations. While it is quite a bit of text, I'm possibly going to use this for our 5 yr old class.

This book is the story of Jesus and how we got to celebrating Easter. I like that this story covers so much of Jesus' life, but it lacks detail about each part. This is why I think that this book is great to use as a reminder of what Easter is about, but not as an introduction.
