Enthralling
The box set is the best way to read the Chasing Perfection series. This is one smoking hot story starting with the most insufferable, bad boy DeVon and the lovely, strong willed minx, Krissy.
You have to love this series simply for the transformation DeVon goes through. He starts out being someone so arrogant, so debauched and so seemingly unredeemable. Krissy stands up to DeVon like few people are able, and he not only recognizes her talent and intelligence, but also recognizes that he has to have her at least once to get her out of his system.
So once doesn’t quite do it for either of them, but it is mostly DeVon who comes to a realization that the nights with endless numbers of women are no longer satisfying. He had to let go of something from his past that prevented him from having an emotional connection with a woman.
By the end of the story, you’ll be totally smitten with DeVon. Krissy is really such a breath of fresh air as a character because she doesn’t react they way most women do and her honesty and loyalty to DeVon change his life.

This was an interesting take on a contemporary romance. Krissy is a tough woman, and DeVon is quite the asshole. DeVon grew on me quite a bit, as he played off Krissy's strengths so well. I liked how these two characters developed; he made her a better person, and she made him a better person. They become a team, rather than one or the other lifting the other up, which sets it apart in so many ways.
The conflicts are interesting, too.
That said, the bonus epilogue is rough, especially for some mothers. I would have been a lot happier without the epilogue, truth be told, though it did have a happy enough ending. That's entirely personal preference, though.
I really enjoyed the book, and I especially liked the fact this one had alternating first person perspectives; it worked really with well the author's writing style.
I think the only thing I wish there had been more of was some forms of conflict. It had conflict, but I like a bit more suspense in my romance, and I found myself wishing there were spots the author had taken it just a little farther. (And of course, when the epilogue came around, I got what I wanted in a way I definitely did *not* want, but that's just my luck. Most folks probably won't have the issues I did with the epilogue, but that's life, right?)

After seeing her best friend Carrie get the man of her dreams and the job she always wanted, Krissy has decided that she wants to do more than just help people end their marriage. Yeah it’s going to be hard but Krissy feels it’s time to step out on her own.
DeVon Ricci is “The Talent agent” everyone wants. He has no shortage of women falling at his feet to get to the lead in the best of Hollywood’s films and television industry. DeVon likes control in his life and in his women. He learned a long time ago not to get attached and keep relations with women purely sexual this way there is no misunderstanding. They must do what he wants and behave how he wants or he will replace them, plain and simple.
A position has come available at the DeVon’s Talent agency and Krissy has applied for it. After a series of interviews and runs in Krissy and DeVon have come to a love hate relationship. Little does Krissy know that DeVon has a different position in mind for her and how things will go from there is up to the two of them.
Having read the Club Prive Series before Chasing Perfection, I had already knew a bit about Krissy. This series we get to know more about the easy going, I’m in control of my life Krissy. I look forward to getting to know her on a more personal level and how she deals with working in a talent agency in Hollywood. She has definitely met her match and I can’t wait to see how she deals with him.
DeVon Ricci is a man who knows what he wants and how to get it without caring about who he hurts. He is a character I love and hate at the same time. His self-assured, I’m god attitude is like no other I have read but I guess that comes with being the top Talent agent in Hollywood.
This book hooked me within the first chapter as we met DeVon and got to see who he was. I know Krissy is no push over, I can’t wait to see how she handles DeVon and how he deals with the fact that Krissy is more than just another pretty face!! M. S. Parker has another hit series!! I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
Chasing Perfection Vol 2
Volume One left us with DeVon showing up on Krissy date with Taylor to let Krissy know that her date wouldn’t be showing up as he just signed him to Mirage Talent. Now DeVon has ruined Krissy chance to start making LA more like home but worse then that he is plaguing her thoughts. Krissy is need of her best friends advice and right about now she is really missing Carrie.
DeVon couldn’t get his control back to where is should be. How could Krissy get to him like this? After years of always being in control and never has a woman affected him this way so why is Krissy the only one who can? He needs to find a way to get her out of his system once and for all.
These two come up with the same idea to get the other out of their system and put their plans into action. Both of their plans fall into to place so easily but will it be enough for them to get the each other out of their system.
I love how MS Parker continues to have both Krissy and DeVon’s POV throughout the series. I like knowing what both characters are thing and how they affect one another. Both Krissy and DeVon have strong, controlling personalities that clash and heat up drawing them even closer to the brink of losing the control they loves so much. The bickering back and forth along with the tug of war for control left me wanting to get more of them. I couldn’t put the book down as I needed to find out who would ultimately get the control they both desire. I’m dying to see how everything plays out in the third installment of Chasing Perfection. September 15 can’t come fast enough for me. Another must read by MS Parker!!
Chasing Perfection Vol 3
Volume two left us with Krissy getting in a car accident on her way to visit Carter, meanwhile DeVon was on his way to Carter’s to talk to Krissy. She will not apologize for what DeVon thinks has happened and DeVon can’t forget what he saw. After a series of misunderstanding and a visit from DeVon’s brother, which helps both of them, see they need each other more than they could know. If only they could get past everything life could be perfection.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I love how M. S. Parker completed DeVon and Krissy story. Keeping with both POV kept us readers knowing what both were thinking. With all the misunderstandings and obstacles being put in their way I was beginning to think these two would never smarten up and get past their issues to see their way back to each other. Krissy stayed true to herself, a strong, smart woman who doesn’t need a man to complete her. Through the series she struggled with the actions of DeVon and was ready to move on until she realize that won’t fix the problem. DeVon remained a pigheaded alpha male until his brother pointed out that he will never get Krissy if he didn’t finally get over what happened to make him closed off to everyone and everything including love. M. S. Parker wrote another awesome book and completed this hit series perfectly! I’ll be watching out for her next book as she has become one of my must read authors!!!

The past year has been great for Krissy and DeVon. Just when DeVon was starting to think his life couldn’t be more perfect, an ex-lover walks into his office but she’s not just any ex, she’s one he had to force out of his life. She drops a bomb on him he never thought would happen. Not trusting her DeVon decides not to tell Krissy what is going on. Krissy knows something is up but DeVon isn’t talking to her about it and she is feeling him pulling away from her. She’s afraid this is the end of their relationship and is willing to fight for their love. Will this secret destroy Krissy and DeVon’s relationship or will it bring them closer than ever?

Krissy is a strong, independent woman who loves submitting to DeVon in the bedroom. Her love for him is nothing like she’s ever felt before and will do anything to protect it. Over the past year they have moved in together and moved forward in their relationship. She has never been happier. When DeVon started not missing work and coming home late, Krissy knows something is up but when she tried to talk to him about it, he has excuses that he was working off site to get more business. The problem is she couldn’t prove that he was lying. Krissy knows deep down inside that something is wrong and wants to help DeVon but it changes from avoiding her questions to avoiding her altogether, she starts to fear her relationship is coming to an end.
DeVon is loving how is life is turning out. Working with Krissy and going home with her every night is a dream come true. He never thought he was that type of person, but Krissy is prefect for him. She submits to him in the bedroom but gives him a run for his money in the rest of their life together. When an ex-lover shows up at his office and drops a bomb on him, all he can think about is how this will affect Krissy. He doesn’t want to lose her as she is the most important person in his life. DeVon does everything he can to keep this secret from her but when she starts to pushing for more he doesn’t know how to tell her. On top of that his ex wants more from DeVon than he is willing to give and when she gives him an ultimatum, he is left wondering how he can chose between the two.
This is the fourth volume in the Chasing Perfection series by M. S. Parker and my favourite of the four. I love how in sync Krissy and DeVon are with each other. The chemistry between these two has never cooled down and their relationship is perfect for what they want in life. It’s not always easy to work with your partner but they seem to make it work. When DeVon starts keeping secrets from Krissy, she see right through him. Giving him the space she thought he needed, Krissy still worried about what was going on. If that wasn’t bad enough, Krissy is getting sick which only gives DeVon more excuses to keep things from her. I have to give Krissy credit for her patience with DeVon and giving him his space. When she finally gives in and follows him to see where he is going she jumps to conclusions. The fact that she reminds herself that he did that once and it hurt their relationship and kept them apart until the truth came out shows how much faith and trust she has in him and their relationship. When DeVon finally lets Krissy in and tells her everything that is going on and the ultimatum he was given.
The emotional roller coaster ride M. S. Parker takes us on kept me on edge and wondering what was going to happen next. I couldn’t put the book down as I wanted to know what DeVon was going to do and how Krissy would handle the secrets. This addition to the series doesn’t disappoint and ends in their story perfectly. This is one of the few series I will read again and recommend it to my fellow readers.

Bad Boy turns sweetheart lover
If you haven’t already, I’d strongly suggest reading the Club Privé series box set. You don’t have to, but it is the first place that you will meet Krissy Jensen, this series heroine. You will have also met DeVon Ricci… talent agent mogul and BDSM bad boy lover.
If you have read Club Privé, you’ll also know that in the epilogue, Krissy and DeVon are together. But… don’t let that spoil your enjoyment because the journey they take to get themselves to the point in their relationship where we first meet them together is full of twists, trysts and temptations.
I have to admit that, at first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like DeVon. He’s a bit of a womanising lothario who openly avoids commitment. A sexual panda… eats shoots and leaves! Lust ‘em and leave ‘em. All of those playboy phrases could have been coined just for this guy. Powerful, incredibly wealthy, respected, revered and 100% a$$hole.
He’s used to women falling at his feet, submitting to his every sexual desire and then he walks away once he’s had enough of them. With women literally at his beck and call, DeVon has never met his match, until he hires the beautiful, ballsy, bombshell that is lawyer, Krissy Jensen.
She matches him toe-to-toe… having the same ethos around bedding men but not entering into any kind of commitment.
When they first meet there’s fireworks… but not if the sexual kind… there’s an attraction but DeVon’s interview process is less than orthodox. Gradually as they start to admit to their inner attraction toward each other, they agree to take their attraction to the next level and scratch the itch… but once scratched they can’t stop. It doesn’t take long before they are finding something in each other that they never thought they’d ever want… love.
That is when we start to see the sweeter, caring and loving side of DeVon and I started to fall in love with this alpha male more and more as he finally finds his heart and gives it willingly to Krissy. They’ve still got that bite, that angst and that fire, but together they are formidable. But with all great romance novels, there’s a sucker punch coming and DeVon has to make the most important decision of his life. Will he be able to let Krissy go?
Absolutely loved this series and loved these characters. And… Landon… oh my god Landon is just so awesome!!
The epilogue is one of most superb yet heartbreaking endings to a series that I’ve come across. It really tugged at my heartstrings… possibly because it was a little unexpected… yet so perfect in the same breath.

Chasing Perfection (Club Prive: Krissy's Story)
I like to read stories that have BDSM in them. MS PARKER is a master at writing stories that contain erotica. But her stories are not smut. They have a storyline that makes you really route for one character and hate another.
In this story, Krissy was a character from New York that moves out to LA for a job as a lawyer in a talent agency. She interviewed and felt good about it but still had 2 more days of interviews. As she heads to the hotel, they tell her she has been upgraded- presidential suite. Krissy was surprised but went upstairs and walked in on an orgy. She told them to get out and the man tried to use all ways necessary to convince her. Turns out he is her boss, Devon Ricci and that was a test.
Devon is the biggest jerk there is for the whole first half of the book. The only thing he cared about was where he got his sex and how rough it could get.

I like to read stories that have BDSM in them. MS PARKER is a master at writing stories that contain erotica. But her stories are not smut. They have a storyline that makes you really route for one character and hate another.
In this story, Krissy was a character from New York that moves out to LA for a job as a lawyer in a talent agency. She interviewed and felt good about it but still had 2 more days of interviews. As she heads to the hotel, they tell her she has been upgraded- presidential suite. Krissy was surprised but went upstairs and walked in on an orgy. She told them to get out and the man tried to use all ways necessary to convince her. Turns out he is her boss, Devon Ricci and that was a test.
Devon is the biggest jerk there is for the whole first half of the book. The only thing he cared about was where he got his sex and how rough it could get.

Good read 2nd part of club prive
This is the second box set in part with club prive. This is Krissy and DeVons story. It's very good and you can feel the emotions through the whole thing.mlooking coward to the third box set next.

Very good series
Sometimes you wonder if the subject line is correct...well this series was exceptional! A majority of M.S. Parker books are great....others not my favorite. This book was a nice blend of HOT, crazy and emotional. When you decide to purchase these series you need to read them in order. Club Prive (Carrie), Chasing Perfection (Krissy), Unlawful Attraction (Dena) and Legal Affair (Leslie). There maybe another series Collide as well. All four women know each other from college and/or working at the same law firm in New York City. In my opinion...must read series!!! Will not be disappointed

Good Book
I enjoyed this book and DeVon &Krissy were a good match and he was such an asshole at the beginning.
I didn’t expect the actual twist with Sasha & Emmett but I knew she was lying just didn’t realise how much.
Goo story and ending as I didn’t expect them to want that thought they were career driven but it was good.

Fantastic. A well deserved five stars
I love all the club privie books but this is by far my favourite - I know this is the second story but I'm rereading them all. DeVon is a strong dirty hot alpha male with a huge (excuse the pun) dominant side who meets his match with Krissy. I love these characters so much. Truly well worth a read.

I enjoyed the entire series of Krissy and DeVon. All of the different problems that interfered with their lives and love. A sworn bachelor falling for a woman that takes his breath away is slow to reAlize it might be love , shocking as that was for both of them. It is a warm and wonderful HEA that was great reading.
