Everyone—including the police—suspected Parker Buchanan of the ten-year-old murder. They even had incriminating evidence against him that Parker couldn't—or wouldn't—explain away. But Kate Brooks knew the brooding loner couldn't have done it. He was her young son's hero, and Kate had fallen hard for the reclusive author.
Kate knew proving his innocence would take all their faith and fast thinking combined. Because the real killer was setting them up for a double murder…their own.

I’ve read other books by this author and enjoyed them, but I was disappointed in this book.
The characters are not police officers, but they rehash the many murder mysteries so many times that it was just ridiculous by the end and I just started skimming those sections.
This book is also in a series and I didn’t know that when I picked it up. So I felt like I had missed some parts.

Someone is trying to frame Parker Buchanan for the 10 year old murder.
His initials are PB ~ the same as on the necklace.
He was friends with the victim.
The wreck which left him disabled could have given him a motive.
He has become a recluse since then.
But he could never kill anyone. Kate Brooks is certain about that. But the police had better find the killer soon, because the stakes are getting higher, and Kate is next on the killer's list!
I enjoyed this continuation in the Reunion Revelations Continuity, and am enjoying this group of friends as they band together again...and discover romance along the way!

You really do need to read these books in order as each book, while a story on its own, also has a plot which runs and develops through all the 6 books, building up to the grand finale in book 6. This means that you will not only want to read this book, but also the other 5 in the series! So if you are looking for a one off story to read, then this is not the book for you. However, if you are short of reading material and want a series to get you going, then you might want to try out this series.
The book was about a murder that had taken place years ago, and a recluse named Parker Buchanan was being accused of it. His friend, Kate Brooks believed he was innocent. They attended college together. He was being framed because Penny Brighton wanted revenge for what she had lost. Parker and Penny were in a car accident, and they each lost something. Penny lost her ability to have children, and Parker's leg was badly damaged. He became a rich and famous cartoonist and comic book writer.
But, Penny became hateful, mean, and evil. She killed her friend Josie, and stole her baby because she could not have children anymore. Along the way, Parker found love and Kate admitted she loved Parker as well. These two people had a second chance at love, and they didn't want to do anything to spoiled it. Parker also found his faith in God which was missing from his life. I enjoyed this story because it showed how anyone can persevere after a bad accident. It also shows how sometimes you get a second chance, but not always. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
might have been a LITTLE easier for me to know what was going on IF i'd have known it was part of a series in time to read the 4 books that apparently came in front of it, but ...
still, a great mystery w/ some good twists and turns
think i'll go see if i can now chase down the others in the series
One in a series "Reunion Revelations". OK. Without the rest of the series I wasn't really sure just what was going on, however, my guess is that this is the next to last in the series.
I really love this book now it's all coming together and you can find me see what's been happening. I can't wait for the next I can't wait for the next book.
Very suspenseful book. Glad the series is coming to an end so we know what is going on. Good read. Not sure why the heroine is always doing something dumb, but guess that makes it a good read.
This is my second book by this author. I enjoyed her newer one better... This book started off Good, I loved all the characters, I also loved the comic book writer, that was a nice touch. However, it started to drag for me, there wasn't much action, more of the buildup of the main characters relationship. Not much about the killer or the case, things started to get repetitive. Then the ending was just horrible. I have never read ANY harlequins even ones that are a series that can't be read as a stand alone. This one is NOT A stand alone... So if your not looking for an option to continue the series or just read as a stand alone I would not recommend this book at all...
