Fantastic writing, excellent story-telling, with likable characters. Plus just what you'd expect and more for hot sexy scenes. Steampunk, spanking and kidnapping are all kinky fun elements to this story. Ms. Winters is a new to me author who writes a good ageplay story. Lady Marjorie Hamilton is forced by circumstances to find a man to marry, preferably, a man who will be wrapped around her little finger. This man is Archibald Westerly. He's a genius with electronics and with a high future earning potential. She's close to sealing the deal with a ring on her finger. The only issue is Archibald's sponsor, Lord Stefan Cavendish. Lord Cavendish sees through Marjorie immediately and wants to protect his investment. Fortunately for him, his wealth will help pave the way.

The steampunk part to this story is unfortunately slim. There is barely enough in here to qualify for a steampunk story. This is fine because the main focus is the ageplay and it is delicious. The non-con forcing ofr Marjorie into a little is panty moistening goodness. Having a nanny involved with harsh spankings and enforced age regression is delightful. The spanking machine is quite intriguing and a spankophile will drool over it. The descriptions are vivid and well done. There is just enough character inner musing to balance out the discipline and humiliating training sessions. The story flows quite well and a reader is easy pulled into this high seas story.

This is a fun story where two opposing characters find themselves turning into lovers. Stefan's high handed manner works well to bring the bratty Marjorie under his rule. The humiliations and erotic lessons for Marjorie are on the light side of dark taboo. There is nothing in here objectionable. Ms. Winters does not push the envelope with any nasty nanny discipline or heavy degrading play. This story does come across as a dub-con erotic romance where enemies turn to lovers. The sub-plot with a mission and Secret Society is a nice touch and one can only hope there will be more tales in this world Ms. Winters created. Hopefully there will be more strict Daddies and red bottom little girls or boys. Recommended for age-play lovers who enjoy a bit of sci-fi fantasy mixed in with their spankings.

Sometimes you just want to read a fun book and this book fit the bill perfectly. (The operative word is fun/entertaining.) It has a little bit of everything going on. There was an abduction, age-play (nothing over the top), dom/sub theme, time travel, inventions, spankings, adventure, a bionic nanny, erotic moments and I am sure I am leaving out other delightful elements. The editing is spot on and the story kept me engaged; keeping a big smile on my face the whole time. Did I say the book is fun?

Those who are turned off by age-play will likely find the treatment of age-play in this book to be acceptable, i.e. I call it age-play lite. Likewise, the discipline and humiliation elements are present but not severe. I tend to like darker reads, but maybe it was my mood, because this little adventure was just plain entertaining. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a light beach read while enjoying an adult beverage.

STEAMPUNK EROTICA AGEPLAY
I loved this Steampunk age-play story. From the dashing, dominate Lord Stefan Cavendish and his secret society. The destitute and beautiful Lady Marjorie Hamilton who had set her sights on a scientist, Archibald Westerly, whom she believes will be the ticket to save her family. Then the bionic Professor Katrinka who acts as Nanny Trinka with her unusual metal arm, leg and face-plate with rotating eye. Along with all the wild inventions and unusual items, makes this steampunk story come alive. Throw in a kidnapping, a trip to a secret society, a spanking Nanny and the regression of Marjorie into Margie for her Papa Stefan. This story has delightful characters, entertaining dialogue, mystery and suspense, time travel, adventure and age-play that keeps the pages turning and am HEA ending.

As long as I kept my sense of disbelief firmly under wraps, this little story was rather fun. I enjoyed the supporting characters more than the main protagonists, and the background story far more than the central relationship. Archibald was great as the absent minded inventor, and the twist at the end was perfect.

Unfortunately, I just didn't care for either Stefan or Margorie. He is far too self absorbed and high handed, and she goes from manipulative to doormat. It just didn't work for me, but, to be fair, the tone of the story is fantastical, and the tone of the relationship between Stefan and Margorie fit the rest of the book. It was a fantasy after all.

The character I really would like to read more about is Professor Katrinka/Nanny Trinka. She definitely has more story to tell.
