This Couple Really Had To Go Through It
Brandon & Nadia really had a lot to unpack and go through it before they were able to actually find their sweet spot…the good thing was they had friends who were willing to stick their noses in to help the process. I love the epilogue….it was such an awesome gesture.

Nadia x Brandon
Wow, it's been a while since I read a CCJ classic. Though, I was a little hesitant going into this story cause it's older. 8 yrs old to be exact. But I must apologize for my doubt. Cause CCJ doesn't miss. I liked Nadia, but she irked my nerves. Yes, she had baggage and some I can't fault her for. But she had the poorest communication skills. A lot of her issues with with Brandon and Ken was due to her failure to communicate effectively...or at all. She kept Brandon in the dark for so long about something so important. I was annoyed. Brandon's reaction to everything was so valid (except the whole thing about title and the sex thing 😑) and I was exhausted for him. But he sure loved him some Nadia.
This story was so real and so raw, but it's CCJ, so what do you expect.

3.5 stars I didn’t like the mmc and I think that kept me from getting invested in this couple. The narrators also weren’t my favorite.

Wow. I really enjoyed this couple because they both had a journey to get to their happiness in each other. I did struggle with feeling empathy for Brandon at Nadia's reveal but also not because I feel that was a tough road for Nadia to relive so early in a new relationship. I don't have the answers on how to maneuver that but I'm so glad that in the end they thought the relationship was worth fighting for. I love how CCJ will write about topics that will make me look up the details on google afterwards. lol I enjoyed this love story and would definitely recommend this read!

Brandon& Nadia- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB
I love stories that have a purpose and this one certainly did. The subject of infertility resonates with so many couples and I love the way the author chose to address this.
Brandon and Nadia made a beautiful couple and I would love to read more of their story.

I loved this book. It was a spinoff from Finding Forever. It was nice to catch up with Tori and Avery while getting to know Brandon and Nadia. I read it in just a few hours because I didn't want to put it down. That ending just made me love the book even more!

Finding Commitment
I loved this one. I stayed up until almost 3am finishing this and I have NO regrets 😏. Two very confused and semi broken people trying to navigate dating and like and eventually a relationship and love.
Nadia had a lot of hardships from her previous relationship and just life in general and my heart broke for her because she was so young and just trying to make life happy and full.
Brandon was so used to getting women to will to his charming ways that the resistance that Nadia had for him actually turned into deep curiosity and interest, something he normally didn't entertain or quite know how to do. Brandon had a lot to learn about being in a monogamous relationship and I liked that he saw his short comings and talked them out.
I like the nature of Nadia and Brandon's overall Love. It was one of hurt, pain, healing, finding and understanding (plus more).

Ugh
I really wanted to like this book, but it just didn’t do it for me. The first book in the series left me underwhelmed. I expected to bounce back with this one since CCJ usually delivers. The chemistry between this couple felt off. Brandon’s personality turned me off. His raunchy sense of humor was crude and immature. Nadia was so damaged. It made it hard for me to like her. Despite the book being a letdown, I thought the epilogue was perfect. I really loved the way things came full circle for the couples from both books.

3.5 ⭐️ Chasing Commitment had cute moments. Unfortunately, I did not connect to Nadia. I’m a girls girl and in my mind the MMC is always to blame when there is a relationship problem. This was one of the rare exceptions. Nadia’s unreasonable expectations and unwillingness to communicate drove me batty. I was sick of her so I couldn’t blame Brandon if he was. She was so closed off to her own feelings that I found it hard to empathize. Her behavior just seemed so childish and the problems were mostly avoidable.
Thank goodness for Avery and Tori from Finding Forever or these two would have never made it.

Not what I expected
After meeting Brandon in Finding Forever, he was not what I expected. I must say that I liked both of them but this one was mo' better. Nada had been through a lot but I liked how she held her own. Good couples, good friendships, good story.

Chasing Commitment is another 5 star read from Author Christina C Jones. Chasing Commitment is the follow-up story to Finding Forever where we met Tori and Avery. This story is about Brandon, Tori and Avery's friend who we were introduced to in FF. Brandon meets Nadia in a restaurant that he frequents when she starts working there as a new waitress. Brandon and Nadia's love story will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions right along with them with all the ups and downs and twists and turns of their relationship. This is a great story you are sure to enjoy.

I love Christina C. Jones, y'all. She consistently gives good stories, with likeable, realistic characters, with believable storylines. Such an awesome storyteller!
If you haven't already done so, do yourself a favor and check this book out - all her other ones, too. Just make sure you don't have anything else to do, cause in the words of Chaka Khan and Rufus, "Once you get started, ohhhh, it's hard to stop!"

This was an ok read. Just a slow and steady story. There was really nothing that explosive about it. I was a little disappointed when I reached the end because I felt there was more to Brandon and Nadia's story that needed to be told, but I am glad the author gave us the additional 2 pages of semi closure. I would have preferred more detail, but something is better than nothing.

I could DEFINITELY see the growth in Christina's writing with this book!!!! I loved it. Start to finish.
The twists and turns the story took you on wasn't confusing and had me anxious to read each chapter.
I'm unsure how Mrs. Jones is knocking out such wonderfully written work back to back with a husband
and kids... but KUDDOS to her!!!!!!!!

I started this book at 9 and was done by 12. I could barely concentrate on my work because I was so engrossed in their story. I loved these two together and Mrs. Jones hit yet another sensitive topic. I won't disclose it here or spoil it for others but I have been asking myself this question since reading this book.

A secondary character in book 1 of the series (Finding Forever), Brandon is apprehensive about love. Following Tori and Avery's love story, he feels a way (read: rejected) and questions himself. Meeting Nadia at his favorite food spot seems like kismet, but her unspoken rule might lead to an end before a beginning.

Nadia wore me out!!! Whew what a rollercoaster ride.....sometimes predictable and other times not. Brandon hung on and stayed strong!! Good to connect with Tori & Avery! This is a GOOD chase!

Let's Straighten it Out- Latimore
I actually listened to that song while reading this, and it couldn't have been more fitting!!! Reading reviews before the book is misleading!! I couldn't wait to read about Brandon after been introduced to him in Finding Forever. Though I feel like his character was watered down in his actual story. I liked Nadia, cry baby and all. She went about some things wrong, who doesn't 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️, but after her previous relationship, she knew what she wanted and what she didn't, and she wasn't settling. She made ish happen for herself. She wasn't waiting around for a man to do it for her or make her whole. She timed out, rebuilt, and learned to love herself. I loved when she said "Even if there was no Brandon, she was not going backwards." I felt that in my soul!!! This book wasn't as angsty as book 1!!! Whew!! AND..... OMG!!!! Yall CCJ completed Tori and Avery!!! I feel as though their story should have had a little more meat and potatoes (them) vs all that other, but I still rock with me some CCJ!!!

Let’s get straight to it. Nadia was toxic af. I did not like her crying ass character. Always making Brandon feel bad which I was trying to truly understand what all he did wrong??? She got mad because he didn’t want to follow her dating rules that she never told him about when they first started 2 months prior. She coincidentally wanted to have sex with him each time her ex FROM OVER A YEAR AGO did something to make her sad. She wanted him to commit to her even though she was keeping a life changing secret from him. Idk how Brandon wasn’t emotionally drained dealing with her with his weak ass always apologizing so she wouldn’t leave him. Man STAND UP!!
She sucked. This book only kinda sucked because CCJ is definitely an amazing other and I was still hooked but Nadia was cringe cringe cringe. I know she something serious happen to her but still…… she couldn’t be my friend.

Brandon and Nadia...ups and down, rinse and repeat
This was a good follow to the first book in series. I was lukewarm on that one because it it felt unfinished. Well this book finished (pretty much) Tori and Avery's story. Though this novel did keep me interested, It wasn't my favorite. I mean, Nadia was EXHAUSTING. Seriously exhausting. Her moodiness. Her constant crying (even if it was warranted) was just too much. Near the end, I was ready for the book to be over. It was EXHAUSTING. CCJ is still unmatched in her writing and storytelling, though. This series just wasn't it for me.
