This series is killing me Chelsea. Just thought you should know.

In episode 5, Fin and Marisol are separated by an ocean most of the time. Fin is off in Paris working and Marisol is back at home living her normal life. We get a better taste of what her family is like and are left wondering what is going on with her mom. Chloe is a shoulder for Marisol when she needs it. I’m telling you, every girl needs a Chloe in their life. Thick and thin. Through and through. I love their relationship as best friends.

Fin gives away a couple more secrets and we find out even more what an a$$ his dad is. I am waiting for him to have a bigger roll in this series, something evil and disruptive for sure.

Fin and Marisol still get their hot sexy time in together thanks to modern technology and we get to enjoy it. :)

Overall, I am still loving this series but the anticipation of the cliffhanger we were left with this time is so hard to deal with. I want episode 6 like yesterday.

Thank you so much for my copy of Deep Surrendering episode 5.

Oh lots of drama in this one. Fin and Marisol are thousands of miles away from each other when Fin has to go to work overseas and the distance is a bit trying and straining for them - as I predicted. But the fight they had at the end? They fight about the stupidist things really. It's because Fin is so closed off, but I don't see what all of the fuss is about.

I'm intrigued to see what other mishaps will happen to these two characters.

Deep Surrendering Episode 5 picks up where Chelsea M. Cameron last left us with Fin and Marisol separated for the first time. With thousands of miles between them, and weeks left before they will be together they are both struggling with the distance. Fin and Marisol try to talk as often as possible, but with the time differences and everything going on in their lives they only get brief moments of time in which they actually connect. Marisol copes the best she can by spending time with her friends, working, and occasionally using the key that Fin gave her to spend time in his apartment. Fin is busy working, and as each day goes by Marisol fears that he is not sleeping or eating well. Marisol tries to convince Fin to be healthier and to take care of himself in her absence. But Fin is also struggling with his feelings for Marisol and he doesn't know how to handle things between them.

Fin and Marisol really have their toughest battles yet ahead of them, but for the first time in their relationship things are completely uncertain. With them being so far apart things are a lot harder and they are left in unfamiliar territory. Fin has never felt these kinds of feelings for someone before, and we know at this point that he doesn't usually have sex with the women he dates. Marisol has really changed so much about how he operates that he is still trying to figure out how to proceed. It doesn't help that Fin still feels like Marisol shouldn't be with him and that his darkness is too much for her. He doesn't want her to care for him and yet he also craves her. It was hard to see him struggle so much in this one, and you could really feel the depth of his insecurities. Marisol was also struggling with missing Fin and knowing that she couldn't be with him to help him and comfort him. It was hard for her to see the changes in him as the dark circles under his eyes took over. He was clearly exhausted and she couldn't do anything about it. Marisol really has her work cut out for her in the future because of Fin's attitude towards her caring about him. He almost refuses to acknowledge her feelings and doesn't even want her to say them to him. The chemistry and sex is great between them, and they are really starting to form an emotional connection as well. But there are so many secrets and obstacles that they have to deal with yet, and I just know that although it will be worth it in the end it will be so much worse before it starts to get better. I hope that they can both hold on and learn to lean on each other rather than try to go it alone.

I am really loving this story, and Fin and Marisol are so much different than any other characters I have read. They have changed and grown so much over these last 5 episodes, and I know that there is still so much ahead of them. I love how Chelsea M. Cameron is really giving us the evolution of not only their relationship but of each of the characters as well. I loved that Fin was a bit more vulnerable in this one and that for the first time we really get to see this strong and tough man that is used to control really having to deal with his insecurities and feelings. I thought it was great how he was making an effort with Marisol and would send her pictures and try to include her in what he was doing. I honestly think that each episode of this story just gets better and better, and I can't wait to get more. It kills me having to wait, but each one I read just proves to me how worth it they are. I am a fan of Chelsea M. Cameron's after having read several of her books at this point, but I think that Fin and Marisol's story is probably my favorite of everything she has done. If you aren't reading these, you are seriously missing out. Chelsea's writing style is fantastic, and her characters are always unique. I highly recommend her books, and I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment in Fin and Marisol's story.

"I'd walk miles for you Marisol. A few steps is nothing. I'd walk to you if I could right now" he said. "I'd walk to you too. We could meet in the middle."

The story of Fin and Marisol is being told in a series of novella's. This is the fifth novella in the series of their love story. I have read the other novellas as well and have enjoyed each one!

I met Fin and Marisol in Sweet Surrendering. The story of Rory and Lucas captured my heart and I was so eager to read about Fin and Marisol after meeting them both in Sweet Surrendering which I loved!

I was not at all disappointed! From the first novella their chemistry and passion jump off the page. The passion between Fin and Mari is so intense and Chelsea Cameron knows how to build it up in am amazing way that has me gripping my kindle! I hate to compare this to anything, but it does take a 50 Shades of Grey path. Having read both, I have to say that I liked the way that Chelsea Cameron handled this and made it a part of the novella's, but it in know way takes them over.

"I wish I was there" I said. So much that my chest started to ache like it had when he'd walked out on me and left me sitting on his bed. "You are. You're always with me."

I also love these characters. The sweet and innocent but strong Mari and the devilishly handsome, dark Fin who also has this sweet and happy side stole my heart. Although I have to say that I have seriously wanted to deck Fin myself for some of the things that he has put Mari through. Every great heroine has to have a great BFF and Chloe is perfect! She is funny, witty and totally loyal and I love it!

I am totally obsessed with this series! I have to say that I am not a fan of Novella series, I always feel left hanging on and wanting more... this was no different! Everytime one novella ends I would mentally cringe and think "nooooo...why?" I would much prefer to read this in a novel (or two). But that does not take away from these characters and this story!

Please bear in mind that this is the fifth episode in this serialization, therefore IMPOSSIBLE to review without spoilers for previous events within the plot.

With Finn now abroad with work for 8 weeks things are a little awkward at first with the phone and video chats. Seeing Finn’s sweet side more than normal really endeared him to me, even he slightly skanky secret didn’t put me off. It just made me wonder what on earth really happened to Finn nd what role does his father have to play in it. Revelations about Finn’s family life round out some of his personality. No wonder he is screwed up. Yet you have to feel that he has made the decision to shape his life like that, he takes ownership of the twisted. SO is it possible to break down his barriers and at the end of the day, does he really want them down. For me I think that is the crux of the story. Is Finn willing to reset himself, not unlike Christian Grey in respect of attaining emotional growth.

This episode focuses more on Marisol’s family dynamic and the interactions with her best friend. Having grown-up in a world similar to Finn’s, Marisol has distanced herself from the priviledged (shallow) lifestyle of her parents. Marisol is very independent and self-reliant, she prides herself on her empathy, work ethic and organisainal abilities. If you think about it, she likes control in her life as much as Finn does in the bedroom. While comparing her life to Finn’s we can see that there is little hope for Finn ever escaping the tight reins of his father. I can’t help but wonder where on earth Finn and Marisol are heading as he has no escape and she won’t go back to that sort of lifestyle for anything. Add in growing emotions on both sides and its a volcano ready to explode.

I’ve got to be honest; these episodes are killing me, I’m not coping well with the gap in finding out what happens next. While I like the tension in theory, the reality is IT’S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!

So thanks Chelsea for the HUGE freaking CLIFFHANGER at the end of this episode. *sigh*

Each installment of Chelsea M. Cameron’s Deep Surrendering is even juicier than the last. These brief serials are the perfect palate cleanser and can be read in no time. They’re short in length but jam packed with drama, steamy romance, and twists that will leave you breathless. I have fallen in love with Fin and Marisol and cannot devour their story fast enough.

Fin and Marisol are complete opposites on paper, but something about their connection completely works. Pieces of her personality inspire him to be better than his past while aspects of his life challenge her to step outside of her comfort zone. Their dynamic is beautiful yet there’s something fragile about it, too. As perfect as they are for one another, it’s obvious that this pair is still so far from reaching their happily ever after together.

Deep Surrendering: Episode 5 tests Fin and Marisol’s commitment to one another as they struggle to adapt to life in different time zones. Fin must travel across continents for work while Marisol follows her life’s bland routine counting down to the end of their two month separation. Their story so far has contained some unexpected moments, but nothing I couldn’t tolerate while I waited for the next piece of their puzzle to release. I won’t give away the plot details, but I will say Episode 5 delivered the most shocking turn of events in their relationship so far.

Now I impatiently wait for Chelsea to publish the next episode of Deep Surrendering. If you haven’t been introduced to Fin and Marisol, I highly recommend you spend an afternoon becoming familiar with their torrid affair. Chelsea M. Cameron knows how to write page turning romance, and she definitely delivers with her Deep Surrendering serial.

I knew going into the novella that this episode would be different. This is the first time in the serial that Fin and Marisol have been separated. It wasn’t Fin’s physical absence that made the novella drag, in fact I liked how the two connected while Fin was in France. The walk he took with Marisol was ridiculously sweet. I also loved Fin’s revealing note. Oh, and the dirty Skype sessions . . . well, I definitely wouldn’t be turning down a one-on-one with Fin. If I was Marisol, I don’t think I could stay away from him either.

My problem was that Marisol continually created reasons to second guess their relationship. Before I felt her fears were warranted, but in this novella she created reasons for her to become worried. I also had a problem with the way this episode ended. Marisol’s feelings felt over the top and made me confused.

Just because I didn’t love Episode Five doesn’t mean I’m going to quit reading the novellas. This is one of my favorite serials. I’ve fallen head over heals with Fin and Marisol, and I can’t wait to see how they overcome their recent argument.

I’m going to keep this short because for anyone who hasn’t read the first four episodes, I don’t want to give anything away. I’m one of those readers who DESPISES spoilers.

Chelsea M. Cameron has Fin and Marisol separated in this episode. Fin is off in Paris working and Marisol is back home trying to go on with life with Fin not around. Unfortunately, this episode is going to test her a bit with Fin. There is also the dilemma that is close to home for Marisol. Secrets are still coming out about Fin and some of them are getting really deep.

There is a HUGE cliffhanger at the end that left me with my jaw left open. Dang it! This is the kind of episode that makes me want more now.

Serials…you either hate them or love them. Thank goodness the next episode comes out this month.

If you are a fan of serials and don’t mind waiting than check out these episodes of Fin and Marisol. If you aren’t a fan…I highly recommend you wait until every episode is out, otherwise Chelsea will drive you crazy over the cliffhangers. Fin may piss you off too…like he did this episode for me.

As much as I’ve been enjoying the Deep Surrendering series, I’ve been waiting for the one episode which shakes things up a bit and brings us a fresh twist or two. Deep Surrendering (Episode 5) brought me much closer to that wish, with the distance between Fin and Marisol adding a new edge to the plot and an interesting turn in events.

Where the previous novellas have focused a lot on the physical connection between Marisol and Fin, and this episode is not lacking in some hot writing either, we get to see a more emotional connection developing between them in this episode. I loved seeing a different side to Fin as he came across a little more insecure than full of himself. Though how long that will last remains to be seen…

Episode 5 felt a bit unpredictable compared to the last couple of novellas and I liked that I didn’t really know what to expect and felt unprepared for the twists. The ending I can’t mention but I loved it! It was the kind of thing I’d been waiting for and I only hope it’s developed more and not easily forgotten as the series continues. Deep Surrendering needed livening up a little and I’m hoping this is where it all begins.

You know how some series start to taper off and get stagnant after so long? Deep Surrendering is not one of them. This series keeps getting better and better and I just simply have no idea what to expect with each new installment.

Episode five finds Fin and Marisol separated for the first time since they've met. By distance, only, however. Fin's overseas for work and Marisol is still at home. They agreed to not see (or sleep with) anyone else for the two months he's gone and they have every intention of being together when he returns. Though Fin and Marisol's only contact during this episode is via text, phone call and video chats, the story still retains the sexy quality it's had all along. It also adds in some seriously sweet moments that really let you see what type of connection this couple has outside of the bedroom.

And then. Well, then there's the ending. I won't spoil it, but all I can say is oh. my. god. My jaw hit the floor and I have no clue how I'm going to wait for episode six to learn what's next.

Marisol is here. Fin is not. He's in Paris. The distance is taking its toll but is also achingly romantic. I loved, oh so much, the scene where they have a long-distance date. I won't go into detail so as not to spoil the surprise but it was so cut and I envied them so much for that precious experience they shared. Romantic and original.

Favourite quote:
Al the best things happen under the cover of darkness.

This separation also serves to enhance this couple's feelings with a bittersweet quality. Of course, they indulge in some intimate moments that are worth your rapt attention.
Not everything is perfect. Some trust issues pop up between them. And let's not forget the secrets. Oh yeah, they keep coming and they're sadder than ever. I don't think Marisol has any chance of breaking Fin's spell over her now.

Their phone calls and video chats felt very real. I liked their interaction a lot. Family and friends also have their role in making it all feel real and connected.

And then comes that cliffhanger at the end of this episode that's shocked me with worry and doubts. Chelsea, dear girl, I'm holding on, I promise, but right now I'm on edge!

At the end of episode 4, Fin was off to Europe for two months and I wondered how the story was going to progress. Fin and Marisol may have strong feelings for one another, but their relationship was really physical and I wasn't sure how the distance was going to work. And with Fin's POV at the very end, I wondered if Fin really wanted this relationship to work.

As episode 5 unfolds, we discover that Fin and Marisol are making it work. Phone calls, text messages and web chats are keeping their relationship on track. They still have the physical aspect of their relationship, their just finding different ways to do things. And without the physical presence, it seems Fin is able to open up a bit more to Marisol, which is nice.

Chelsea Cameron add a little bit more drama to Marisol's life with the entry of her parents and questions arising about whether or not things are good with her parents...particularly her mother. I'm sure the last thing Marisol needs is drama with her parents...especially with the way Fin ended the last call between them in this episode.

I look forward to episode 6 and just how Fin's going to talk his way out of this one.

Well, Fin and Marisol's saga continues. I believe that this section was one of the shorter ones of the story so far. Anyway, we learn a little more about Fin, but in doing so you learn that his father is a real bastard. So, you get an impression not to trust the man even more. Also, you start to wonder what's going on with Marisol's parents cause something is hinting around them, but then again I could be totatlly wrong.

Overall, this episode adds a little more to the story and we are left hanging at the end wondering what is happening to Fin and Marisol. Can their relationship last Fin's trip? The more stuff is reveal, the more quiestions start to pop up. I guess I have to wait another month to know.

This was the hardest episode for me. The long distance relationship is something I’ve done personally and it was so hard for me, therefore I knew it was going to be rough for Marisol. Also, this episode had the biggest cliffhanger yet at the end that is making me really wish episode 6 would hurry and get here! I have to know what happens! I highly recommend Deep Surrendering!!
