Devil's Deal Duology #1

Filling the Void

Rate this book
Sometimes you have to make deals with the devil to save the people you love.

I belong in the shadows. My profession demands it.

It’s a risk going to Takoda, where the new Buccelli Boss knows my face, but I’ve gone too long without checking in on a situation that concerns me.

I knew better.

Now a debt’s been called in, and there’s Cory. Muscular, gorgeous, broken Cory. A boy who thinks he’s too old for a Daddy.

I won’t leave him alone…I can’t.

Filling the Void is book one in the Devil’s Deal Duology. One problem solved brings a HFN, but there is an overall story arc.

**There is vigilante justice and the threat of rape. Please be kind to yourself and your mental health and avoid this one if those are triggering to you.

Sammi Cee was raised in a family of readers. Summer vacations consisted of a good book while sitting lakeside from as far back as she could remember. After growing up and having her own children, her appreciation of how the written word could transport you on an adventure, bring you to tears, or give you hope, took on a whole new meaning.

These days Sammi is watching her children develop into fine young ladies while doing the things she enjoys most: drinking coffee, eating chocolate, and writing her own stories.

Filling The Void is the first book in the Devil's Deal Duology series. We're back in Takoda with a much darker story this time. This book is about Corey an older boy who owns a hotel and Bosley a hitman. I loved these two so much. Cory just melted my heart with all he has been through. Bosley has his own things that he wants to keep private. I love this darker side of the Takoda series. This book was extremely well written and drew me in from the start. I had to finish it in one sitting. I can't wait for the next book in the series to see what happens next. I would definitely recommend this book.

Filling the Void by Sammi Cee is the first book in her Devil’s Deal Duology. It is the story of a man for hire trying to escape his Mafia roots and the sweet hotel owner that he falls for. Bosley Taylor – not his real name – is a man for hire but he only goes after the scum of the earth who are hurting others. He has come back to Takoda, a town he has avoided since his childhood, to see Omar, his only friend. He is also a Daddy who refuses to take on a boy for more than one day because of who he is and not wanting to hurt him in the process. He meets up with his friend at The Tap Tavern as well as several other Daddies who he has heard about through Owen. Unfortunately, he is recognized by some of the Buccelli mafia soldiers and they report their findings back to their Boss, Don Nico. When Bosley is traveling he likes to stay at boutique hotels and this time he has chosen The Gin Mill Hotel which is fashioned after a 1920’s speakeasy. It is owned by Cory Letterman who loves everything about the 1920’s and even talks in the language of that day. (‘Applesauce’ is repeatedly used when things aren’t going well!) He is a Boy and was very much in love with his Daddy who was killed in a car accident a year ago. Things were rough for him but he is starting to come back. When he sees Bosley he is instantly attracted but tries not to get involved because he realizes that Bosley might have some ties to the mafia and he doesn’t want them around. But there are some strange things occurring at the hotel that he can’t seem to get to the bottom of and if he doesn’t he is afraid of what might happen to it. Bosley is also interested in Cory and wants to help him out but knows he can’t stay. This changes when Nico calls him to a meeting and they come to a deal where Bosley will look for what is happening in the organization and Nico will provide security and cameras for the hotel in hopes of finding out who is causing the problem. While Cory isn’t happy about this, he needs to figure out what is happening and why. They talk and get to know each other and Cory tells Bosley about his life and that his 18 year old nephew, Emilio, is missing. They get closer and closer and have some very hot love scenes as they continue doing their jobs. Bosley “takes care of” one of Nico’s problems and everything comes to a head when something happens to Cory and Bosley saves him. The story ends as they both know they are falling for each other and Bosley tells him he isn’t going to leave any time soon. This is a rather dark story but I enjoyed it and it kept me on the edge of my seat as things kept happening. Bosley may be a killer but he only takes contracts on those he considers scumbags. Being a Daddy he is very protective, especially of Cory and also a girl he rescues. Cory is very sweet and hardworking and doesn’t think he should be in a relationship so soon after his husband died but he can’t resist Bosley. His hotel workers as well as the Buccelli family also play a big part in this story. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like stories involving mafia characters, a sweet man who gets involved even though he isn’t happy about it, someone out to sabotage him and his hotel, and two opposite men on their way to falling in love. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see what happens next.

I’m loving this new take on Takoda!

This is set in Takoda, the same city that Love on Tap and Takoda Outreach are based in but with a very different perspective. Whilst TO and LoT were both series that dealt with some dark themes (familial abandonment/abuse, SA, childhood trauma, child endangerment, extreme poverty and homelessness etc) the characters were always very much innocent and pure in a way. They were good people, who didn’t break the law and were always very much standing in the metaphorical sunlight. The books were always lighthearted as well, even when they dealt with darker themes. This series is looking at the darker side of Takoda and the characters are definitely not pure as driven snow. Honestly, they’re still good people. It’s just their good isn’t conventional good, it’s certainly criminal and there are moral grey areas. But overall, I honestly think that while the characters definitely live in the shadows they still fit with other Sammi characters. These are people who don’t take unreasonable advantage of others, who believe there are lines you don’t cross and want to help the vulnerable. As a result, despite the fact you have an MC who is an assassin who kills multiple people on page, the book still feels light. Yes, there’s some bad stuff going on and, yes, Bosley is not exactly citizen of the year but he’s a good guy and he deserves the sweetness that is Cory. I’m getting the feeling that it’s going to be a theme with the MCs in this series that there is a shadowy character paired with a lighter character and I am alll for it. I love the duality of those kinds of relationships and I have a particular fondness for the ‘I will burn the world down for you’ trope. There seems to be a set up for perhaps a series long mystery and certainly I can already foresee where maybe some pairings are going to come from. I also have a list of people I want to have books (what’s sexier than a gay mafia?!) so I’m keeping my fingers crossed they’ll all get their turn in the spotlight. I’m really looking forward to book 2 and seeing Bosley and Cory actually settle into their relationship!

** Was given a copy of this book for an honest review **

It was such an interesting time reading this book and starting a new Daddy series with Sammi Cee. If you saw my last review for "Wanted: Unwavering Daddy" you'll know that it was the last book in a quite fluff filled Takoda Daddy Kink series that I absolutely loved in-spite not being into the trope. This new series loses the fluff for the seedy Takoda underbelly and I was here for it! So let's get to it... likes, dislikes, and who I would recommend this read for!

Dislikes:

What can I say I loved this book. There was just enough sweetness for what was a bit of a mafia thriller to have me wanting more. So my only dislike is the instalove, I know, I know, it's fairly common around the Takoda series that Sammi Cee has written, but because one of the main characters this time involved some very serious shady business I wanted to see some more relationship building or even some (very valid) hesitation from Cory.

Likes:

Can I just say how much I loved Bosley as a character!! We meet Bosley briefly in the previous season and this duology is a bit of a redemption arc for him. I love the assassin with a twist story line! I had so much fun in this book trying to figure out (along with the MCs) just what was going on in the hotel. Loved that Cory was such an a-typical "boy"and that throughout the story he became stronger and more assertive!

Who I recommend this for:

This is a great book for those who love the Daddy Kink of course, but also for those who maybe haven't tried a book with this trope before. It is less prevalent in this book because the focus is on solving a mystery in the hotel, the mafia underbelly of Takoda, and catching the bad guy. Those who like more morally grey characters and don't mind dark themes.

I am not really sure how to describe this book. This was an Arc I received from Sammi Cee, and I wish I would have had time to read through her backlist before I started but it’s not entirely necessary. There are characters that I know are featured in her other books but not knowing their story doesn’t change this book. This story is darker than a Contemporary Romance but not quite a Dark Romance. Make sure you check trigger warnings, there are several on page deaths and an attempted SA.

On of the main MMC, Bosley Taylor is an investigator type assassin. In the beginning of the book, he is settling a score on a guy that hurt someone he deeply cared about, a former boy that held a soft spot in his heart. After that he heads back to his hometown, a move that he knew he shouldn’t do, but wanted to check up with his friend Omar. While in town he meets Cory.

Cory is a widow and the owner of a boutique motel that is style right out of the 1920’s. This man loves a theme and even using some of the old jargon which was adorable. He and Bosley meet when Bosley stays at the hotel, and they pretty instantly start a ‘letting off steam’ situationship.  There are Daddy/Boy dynamics here which is the style that Sammi Cee is known to write. I really love that dynamic and fit in well with the rest of the plot of this book. Especially as Bosley becomes entangled with the local mafia he grew up with and Cory’s hotel experiences weird break-ins. This is the first half of a duology but ends with an HFN. In the next book this pair is going to be looking into Cory’s nephew’s disappearance which they believe is connected to a rival mafia family. I would recommend this book for anyone that likes a little darkness, mystery, and suspense with their romance, but not too much.

This is the first book in the Devil's Deal Duology series. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the blurb but I am glad that I took the chance. I absolutely loved this book. It is very well written and easy to read. This is the story of Bosley Taylor and Cory Letterman. Bosley is a hired killer who works independently. He has his own standard of acceptable and lives by it. He is also a daddy. But he knows that he can never have a boy of his own due to his lifestyle. Visiting a friend, he stays at the boutique hotel - The Gin Mill Hotel. Cory is the owner of The Gin Mill Hotel. He and his partner ran it together until his death. Cory is still grieving his dead partner. When there becomes a mystery of someone rummaging through rooms but not taking anything, Cory is stressed out. He wants his guests to have a great stay. When the "thief" makes the mistake of rummaging through Bosley's room; all bets are off. Bosley is going to ensure that they get to the bottom of it. If that means bringing in "family" help, then so be it. When Cory and Bosley first meet, there is an instant spark. Each interaction after that, deepens their connection. This is their story. It ends in a happy for now. There is are other issues that remain unresolved. So now I can't wait for the next book in this series.

This book pulled me in from the first page and kept me reading nonstop to the end. The characters were realistic and easily relatable as Bosley found himself drawn to Cory even though he knew he should leave the younger man alone, finish his task, and leave town. Cory showed strength and responsibility as the owner of his hotel, caring for employees and guests, taking pride in his establishment. When room break-ins started occurring with no sign as to how they were happening, Bosley arranged for security help for Cory, relying on old contacts to get it done. But Bosley had connections and did things he wanted to keep from Cory until Cory was put in danger, then all bets were off, he would do anything for this Daddy to protect his Boy. There is a HFN with a second book to come and the story to continue while casting a wider net than just Cory and Bosley, and darker connections to come into play.

The book was fast paced, the world building with the hotel created vivid mind pictures, and there were some unexpected twists that led to the danger to Cory and the solution to the mystery of the break ins that I didn’t see coming. The book was engaging, and has me hoping the second book is out soon to find out what happens with next Bosley and Cory and a missing family member.

I received an ARC from the author and this is my voluntary review.

I really enjoyed this first story in the duology. If you're a fan of the author and have read the various stories and series set in Takoda, be aware this one is darker with morally grey characters. If you are new to the author, I think you can read this on it's own. Bosley is a hitman, who moves around a lot to stay safe. He stays away from relationships to not endanger anyone else. When he comes to Takoda to see a friend, he gets tangled up in mob connections that he would rather avoid and a cute hotel owner that he can't resist. The hotel owner Corey brings out the side of Bosley that he tries to keep under control, but Corey is everything he could ever want.

I liked Corey; he is capable, a great boss, and compassionate. He was a sweetheart, who lost an important part of his life. I was glad that Bosley stuck around and helped Corey, even as it got Bosley pulled in directions he was hoping to avoid. I was happy that Corey was aware and confronted Bosley about the help he brought in. These two are great together even as the complications of a growing relationship seem difficult. This story ends on a happy for now, and I absolutely can't wait for the second book.

I have loved all of the books by this author, always full of emotions and feel good vibes. So when I read that she was going a little darker, it definitely piqued my interest. And let me say, it was a great success. I loved that even though it did have some darker topics (Mafia books usually do), the author didn't lose their humor or feel good vibes. The dark was perfectly interwoven with them, making it a perfect balance of light and dark.
Bosley escaped the Mafia but was still involved in the underworld and avoids relationship for the same reason. When he decides to visit some old friends, life throws an unexpected surprise in the name of Cory. Cory whose heart and soul is still trying to heal. And when those sparks sizzle Cory decides that maybe a little company might help him move forward. From lovers to friends to soulmates set at a perfect pace for both MCs.
There's also the mystery and suspense of someone causing trouble at Cory's hotel. Good thing Bosley has connections and willing to help as a good Daddy shall (no age play).
I can't wait to read more about this darker world created by Sammi. I have a feeling there's more than what was shown of the secondary characters, deeper feelings and intentions.

A great series starter

A great start to the darker side of Takoda, we still have a brief interaction with some of the original Takoda Daddies, but only a small aspect, while I have read all the other Takoda books, I feel Filling the Void could easily be read without having read the other books (though I highly recommend them too).

Despite the darker elements, with un-aliving and attempted SA and including a MMC who is a hitman of sorts for hire, I felt it wasn't super dark and you still have a Daddy who will do anything to protect the Boy he has found (but thinks he can't keep).

The story has a number of mysteries as well as suspense and has some really great side characters you can't help but love (and/or be intrigued by), both from the hotel and within the mafia element.

I loved the whole Speakeasy Boutique hotel, descriptions and general vibe it brings to the story.

While it is part 1 of a duology and there is more of their story to come (I can't wait), this book doesn't end with a cliffhanger (which I can't stand when there is a wait for the next book!).

I read an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review

Dipping our toes into the darker side of Takoda and it's a great read!
Bosley clearly has a dark side but I like what he stands for as we watch him work. Coming back to Takoda, where he has history, was never supposed to be more than a day or two. Then he meets Cory and is summoned by the local Family.
Cory has his own stuff going on at the hotel he owns and doesn't have time to get involved in anything to do with local crime families. But he gets to know Bosley, and Bosley is very good to him in several ways..... Soon they have something going but with what Bosley has been asked to do, and whatever it is going on in Cory's hotel, something's gotta give.
A very well written story that has moments of tension, some great heated scenes between the MC's as their connection builds, and one or two scenes that may be a little too on the nose for anyone not into reading scenes involving death or blood. Just an fyi.
Cannot wait to read the second book of this duology, to see how things develop between our MC's but also to see how things go for them when it comes to the Family.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

After 5 series (4 of which I’ve read, totalling 14 books) of lighthearted Takoda love stories, we’ve now entered the dark side!

Bosley is back—Bosley from the Daddy/boy weekend where Nigel and Omar met, Bosley who spent the weekend with Chip but couldn’t be his forever-daddy because of work. Now we find out what kind of work…

Filling the Void is the first in a duology, so there will be more Bosley and Cory in the next book. This book is a little dark, somewhat adventurous, with some sprinkles of spice, and an HFN ending. I can’t wait to see how their story concludes in the next book, as some things were definitely left unresolved at the end of this book!

But it was a great read; I’ve had such a great time with this series overall, and I will go back and read the first Takoda series to see how it all started, since I accidentally started with series number 2 and then just kept going 😅

If anyone wants to know, the series are as follows:
1: Takoda Outreach Center, 6 books
2: Love on Tap: Fragile Hearts, 5 books
3: Love on Tap: Fragile Hearts companion HEAs, 3 books
4: Love on Tap 2: Pain and Healing, 4 books
5: Honey-do Daddies, 2 books

Filling the Void by Sammi Cee is a spin-off of the Takoda world focusing on the criminal underbelly of Takoda. Cory owns the local boutique hotel and lost his beloved husband/Daddy a year ago in a car accident. Bosley, aka Romeo, is a for-hire assassin/jack-of-all trades who has come to see his friend Omar and check in on Chip after his harrowing ordeal in previous books. Bosley and Cory are instantly attracted to each other and begin a physical relationship. Cory also has a thief/burglar who is causing issues at his hotel. It was really hard to like Bosley for most of this book. He realized that Cory was a boy shortly after they began and he was still planning on leaving. He was a little hard to understand. However, I think in book 2 we will get to see more of his softer, sweeter side and I am looking forward to reading more about these two. This is definitely a HFN and will continue in book 2. It cannot come soon enough. I am very interested in more of the mob family.

I think that, for a first foray into a darker storyline, this was alright. I also think it was a little all over the place and a little more corny in the dialogue than I would have liked. I love all the side characters, especially Everest, so if anything happens to him in book 2, I may rage quit. The two MCs were well matched, but Bosley was VERY forward with Cory at first to the point where if this has been a real scenario it would have been awkward. We have a few plot lines going: the Buccelli's deal, the missing nephew, and the breaking and entering. I didn't really like how that last one panned out; it seemed kind of like a cop out? And the reasoning for it never got explained, he just got unalived without giving away any real information. I'm also sort of concerned about the now dead man's supposed girlfriend and baby? We should probably do a wellness check. Overall, I think Bosley can single-handedly clean up the problems this mob family are having, but I'm sure Cory will help.

Takoda may have a dark underbelly, but it still has plenty of love and sweetness. I love a good morally gray character, and Bosely is definitely that. Breaking his rules for the quirky man running the boutique hotel he’s staying at.

Cory comes across as naive, but he sees more than you realize and has plenty of life experience. But mostly it was losing his husband that has affected him the most.

He’s never even considered finding someone else, until Bosely. A man he knows he probably shouldn’t fall for, but can’t help but do so.

They are a wonderful pairing, and their story isn’t over yet.

Bosley comes to town to meet up with his friends for a visit. He stays at Cory's boutique hotel which is fashioned after the Roaring 20's. Bosley does not want the mob to know he is in town as he has left that life behind although he is a professional assassin. Unfortunately, they see him, and he is pulled into the Buccelli family again. This time he has a deal for the new Don. Will he live to see it happen?

I liked this story. I liked Bosley. I liked Cory. They are as different as can be but are attracted to each other. Bosley thinks he might like to stay. He works with Nico, his old childhood companion who is also the new Don. Cory has a problem with break-ins at his hotel. Bosley asks Nico for protection for Cory as well as men to look for the person responsible for the break-ins. Bosley also does what Nico wants. He protects those who cannot protect themselves. I liked that. He does not question. Bosley does what has to be done. I had an idea of who was behind the break-ins but not why. Cory learned a whole lot about his hotel and Bosley when the break-ins are solved.

I liked the secondary characters at the hotel. They were fun. I also liked Harley's reaction to Dante. I look forward to reading their story.

Being my first foray into Sammi Cee's Takoda universe, I wasn't sure what to expect; I was hoping not to be completely lost or overwhelmed - and I was neither. There was a clear distinction between already established characters & couples and those newly introduced in this series starter, while readers familiar with the previous series will be thrilled with the crossover/cameos. It all blended together well, and I got completely lost in this suspenseful, mafia-adjacent, cozy mystery type romance. I'm looking forward to the continuation of this duology to get answers & see how all this, with all the interesting moving parts, plays out. I totally dig the Speakeasy feel & how they lean into the era completely, down to the slang. Good job!

Sometimes you have to make deals with the devil to save the people you love. Bosley belongs in the shadows as he works as a hitman. It’s a risk going to Takoda, where the new Buccelli Boss knows my face, but he's gone too long without checking in on a situation that concerns me. Now a debt’s been called in, and there’s Cory. Muscular, gorgeous, broken Cory. A boy who thinks he’s too old for a Daddy. Bosley just can't leave him alone.

I enjoyed this story with the separate story threads which met at Bosley and Cory. Bosley was such a Daddy and Cory was the perfect boy for him.I loved the characters in Cory's hotel and hope to see more of them in the next book. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.

This is the first book in a new duology that takes us back to Takoda, introducing the darker side of this familiar world. Bosley is a hired gun, a contractor who is also entrenched in the Mafia. He's a Daddy without a boy, satisfying his needs with temporary weekends. Until he meets widowed hotel owner, Cory. This quirky boy is still mourning the loss of his husband and Daddy while running his boutique hotel.
The sweet romance between Bosley and Cory had a sappy smile on my face and I loved the adorable 20s slang Cory would throw out. The little mystery was just enough to be intriguing with a couple of overarching plots to carry over into the second book. I thoroughly enjoyed this and can't wait for the second book!

The cover is adorable! The relationship between Cory and Bosley was adorable... in a dark, murdery way. I loved everything about The Gin Mill. The only thing I am curious about is what the heck happened to the proofreading of the last chapter? I don't think I have ever seen so many grammatical errors in ONLY one chapter before... totally weird! 🤔

Anywho, moving on to Redeeming Bosley because I have so many unanswered questions and dang it, Cory and Bosley are just too adorable together! (I may have already said that!) 🥰

I will start by saying that I typically avoid romance duologies+. It’s difficult for me to wait for the HEA. However, this was worth it and I’m totally excited for book 2! The HFN was rewarding enough to get me through.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between the MCs and appreciated the somewhat different older, similar size take on the Daddy/Boy trope. Cory was simply adorable; how could Bosley help himself?! I also loved all the side characters and sub plot. I truly look forward to seeing how everything develops in book 2. Takoda has sucked me in and I plan to get through its backlist while I wait for Redeeming Bosley, the next in the Deal with the Devil duology.

A cliffhanger! Okay, I was prepared for a HFN but being prepared and actually reading it are two different things. This story had killed me from the very beginning. Bringing back Romeo (Bosley) from an old story so that he could find his very own boy was one of the best ideas ever. Cory, who lost his daddy to an accident is not necessarily looking for a new one but a new one certainly finds him. A love story filled with intrigue and murder is always an entertaining read, but then you throw in the daddy/boy dynamic and the hot sex and I am here for it. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book so we can continue Corey and Romeo's story.

I was a little hesitant to pick up Filling the Void as I don't typically read 'darker' stories, but I'm glad I took a chance on this one, because as dark as the actions of the character are, for the most part what we see is redeeming in some way...

As for the main characters, it's fun to watch them circle each other and learn about each other I also absolutely adore Corey's quirky language choices and the fun way his hotel is described. For me, the light outweighs the dark and we get cameos from some of the other Takoda daddies and boys to round out the experience.

I can't wait to see what is to come in the next book...

I never would have imagined associating Sammi Cee with anything dark, especially when Takoda and their gentle, kind-hearted characters serve as the backdrop. Yet somehow, she has truly managed to achieve it, drawing me in and leaving me eager to dive deeper into each character’s story. The wait for the second book feels endless! One of the best aspects is the way she skillfully makes you feel connected to each character, their quirks, and their journeys. This time around, the sudden burst of action with the mysterious thefts has only added to the intrigue, making every twist and turn even more compelling.

Wow, we had no idea about the underside of Takoda! But in true Takoda fashion, the developing daddy-boy relationship is so sweet. I'm loving this tale just as much as the previous series groups. While there is a continuing story thread to the next book, Sammi Cee gives a preliminary wrapup and doesn't leave us hanging completely. That said, I can't wait to read the next book! If you're a true Takoda fan, like me, grab this book right away. All of the character development and enjoyable interactions that you expect from Sammi Cee are here. It's a great story!

This is my first experience of reading a book by Sammi Cee and she delivered a well written story. The main characters are Bosley (aka Romeo) and Cory. Cory owns a hotel that is inspired by 1920 gangster mythology; it is unique and Bosley calls Cory quirky. At first their relationship starts out as purely sexual and then they become friends and lovers. There is a thread of mystery that runs through the book and a mafia storyline as well. Cory and Bosley are a passionate couple so you will come upon steamy delicious scenes. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the conclusion in the next book.

This is the first half of the Devil’s Deal Duology. It is set in the Takoda Universe but there is no need to have read any of those books because this book only briefly touches on the world we all know and love. This is a Mafia story and, as such, was not really my cup of tea. It is much darker than anything previously from Takoda. However, having said that, it is well written and the story moves along at a good pace. There is a lot of intrigue and I did not see the ‘baddie’ coming. There were some great side characters that I hope get their stories told when we return to Takoda for the second part.

This is the first in Devil’s Deal duology and it keeps you turning the pages! Corey just stole my heart with everything he’s been through! He has such a kind heart and tries to take care of his employees at his hotel. Bosley has his own secrets but when he meets the quirky hotel owner he can’t help but fall for him. There’s some suspense in this that keeps you captivated. I really enjoyed the characters and loved how close knit they seemed. I can’t wait for the next story to see how things pan out! Very enjoyable and I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

This was amazing! I loved getting to see a different side of Takoda. A darker, grittier, setting complete with mobsters and a Daddy who is also a hit man. I also loved spending time in The Gin Mill, Cory’s boutique hotel is so creative and fun. I loved the way the author blends Bosley’s dangerous side with his very nurturing Daddy side, both side are believable. I thoroughly enjoyed both the suspense surrounding the Buccelli family and the break ins happening around The Gin Mill and the genuinely lovey romance between Cory and Bosley. Excellent!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
