Our intrepid trio of mathematically inclined farm animals return and this time the task is to teach Chicken how to tell time. Another funny addition to the Hilariously Simple Math series with Goat and Sheep delivering the lesson through comical characters and simple explanations. Back matter explains the difference between analog and digital clocks. Perfect introduction to clocks for the younger set. Thank you Edelweiss and Claven Publishing for the ARC.

Farm animals teach kids how to tell time. It was a pretty silly story about a chicken needing to tell time because he has to be somewhere at 10. But I think having a lesson wrapped into the story will help some kids ingest the info easier. Did explain how to tell time well, and many kids don't learn how to tall time with clock hands, so pretty useful.

I love picture books that help teach mathematical concepts, and while this one addresses the tricky concept of learning to tell time, it's convoluted with lots of other stuff making it a little distracting to read.
